This newly remodeled, quaint, Mid-Century home is located approximately 5 miles (10 minutes) from the Ventura Harbor, Ventura State Beach & The Ventura Pier. This home has been designed to provide peace and sanctuary during your stay in Ventura. It is roomy enough for **8 guests or families w/children. Perfect for tourists, business travelers or lodging for extra family members who are visiting for your special events!
This 1144 sq. ft. home includes:
* A completely redesigned, remodeled and partially open space kitchen! Unleash your inner chef with our brand new Carrera marble-like Quartz countertops, brand new stainless steel farmhouse kitchen sink, brand new solid wood modern Shaker kitchen cabinets with ambience lighting and our fully stocked kitchen, complete with Calphalon cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and a suite of brand-new Stainless Steel appliances such as: the dishwasher, stove fan vent and refrigerator.
*An open space dining room adjacent to the kitchen Quartz waterfall countertop bar with barstools. Dining table seats 6 people but has 4 chairs. The 2 extra folding chairs are in the Master bedroom closet.
*A completely redesigned and remodeled bathroom
which includes: a refinished/reglazed bath tub, Carrera marble-like tile, a brand new toilet/bidet with remote control, a brand new lighted bathroom mirror, a brand new vanity sink and cabinet with toe-kick lighting. This bathroom is also fully stocked with a hairdryer, a curling iron, towels, and complimentary body soap and shampoo.
*Newly installed Centralized AC and Heating controlled by a Smart Thermostat.
*A RING Doorbell which also has a built-in camera. It is located outside of the front door and it is there to monitor people coming in and out of the house. As per the law, we absolutely DO NOT have cameras inside the house.
* The serenity of our three distinct bedrooms: "The Garden Room" with a luxurious Cal King bed, "The Mirror Room" featuring a plush Queen bed, and "The Surf Room" with two cozy Twin beds. Each room offers Memory Foam mattresses and remote-controlled ceiling fans for your comfort.
Additionally, "The Mirror Room" closet houses a spare Queen size, motorized Air Mattress with extra bedsheets, pillows and blankets. For your entertainment, two of the bedrooms boast a 42” flat-screen smart TVs and writing desks. For our youngest guests, a playpen is tucked away in "The Surf Room" closet. (Please note: this playpen is NOT a Pack n Play nor a Crib for sleeping.)
* A glamorous, cozy living room. Unwind in the Human Touch Bali massage chair, lounge on the chaise sofa, or enjoy your favorite shows on the 65” Flat Screen Smart TV, controlled by a Apple TV device with Wifi access. (Please note: this is NOT cable TV.)
* An outdoor laundry room, complete with a washer, dryer, and laundry supplies. An ironing board and iron are conveniently located in “The Garden Room” - Master bedroom side closet.
* A front porch patio with 2 patio chairs and a side table. You can also enjoy a family meal on the side patio, complete with a picnic table, outdoor seating, storage bin with beach/camping chairs and an Igloo cooler ready for your outdoor adventures. There is also a BBQ grill, a Fire Pit and a Hot Tub for your enjoyment.
**Please Note: There is a 1 time fee of: $70 for the use of the Hot Tub (for cleaning and chemical treatment,) $35 for the use of the Fire Pit (for the Propane tank refill) and a $45 fee for the use of the BBQ Grill (for Propane tank refill and cleaning.) There is a discounted fee of $140 for all 3.
If interested, you must let us know and make a payment at least 24 hours before your Check-in day. This allows us ample time for us to prep the hot tub and/or the BBQ grill. Payment methods will be discussed after you book your stay.

**The MAXIMUM lodging/sleeping occupancy for this house is: 8 people (infants/babies not included.) This is mandated by the city of Ventura = 2 guests for each bedroom + 2 extra guests. Any more than 8 people sleeping at the property will be a violation of the city rules and will be cause for immediate eviction. Of course, visitors are allowed to visit, but not to lodge or sleep there.
GUEST ACCESS
The entire house, driveway and back/front yards are accessible EXCEPT for: the garage, the tool shed in the backyard and 3 linen/pantry cabinets. The front door is controlled by a Smart Lock which requires a Door Code to access the house. This Door Code will be given to you after you book your stay. The outside side gate is locked by a different coded lock on the front. For security reasons, the side gate is to remain locked at all times. If you need access through the gate (i.e. to store bicycles, surf boards, etc.,) please let us know after you book with us and we will give you the gate code.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:
Check-In time is 3:00 PM
Check-Out time is 10:00 AM
ARRIVING EARLY:
EARLY CHECK INS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please be aware that if you arrive EARLIER than your 3pm check-in time, YOUR DOOR CODE WILL NOT WORK. You must wait till EXACTLY 3pm, unless we have approved your early arrival 2 days in advance!!
Our cleaning crew runs on a tight schedule and they need ample time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the house, per COVID-19 city/county rules, between each guests' stay.
Thus, YOU NEED APPROVAL from us, 2 days in advance, if you wish to enter the property before your check-in time of 3:00 pm.
CHECKING-OUT LATE:
You will have some grace time of about 15 minutes after your 10:00 AM check-out time. But the door code will remain invalid at exactly 10:00 AM. If you need extra time, YOU MUST CONTACT US IN ADVANCE, as the cleaning crew is generally scheduled to arrive at 10:15 AM! They also require a 48-24 hour advance notice for any schedule changes. So if you stay past 10:30 AM, you WILL be charged an extra fee of our discretion.
ARRIVING LATE:
As for arriving late on your check-in date, it is perfectly ok. Your front door code will be activated and valid after 3pm on your check-in day. Thus, you may arrive ANY time after 3pm of your check-in day.
Lastly, we have implemented enhanced cleaning methods after each guest check-out. Our cleaning crew uses commercial grade disinfectants instead of green cleaning products (as these will not kill the corona virus) as well as a special machine to disinfect all areas of the house, including the furniture. There are also hand sanitizers for your use in the house and wet/hand wipes in one of the kitchen drawers.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Gather all used bath & kitchen towels and place them on the bathroom floor in front of the sink vanity. No need to strip the beds. The cleaner will do that,
Turn off the stove, all faucets, the BBQ grill (if used,) the fire pit (if used,) all TVs and all mirror lights (in the Queen room and bathroom).
Place all recyclable bottles & cans in a trash bag & place them next to the kitchen door. But place all open food containers & trash in a trash bag & put into the trash bins outside of the house,
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The unique benefit about this property is that it offers easy access to: all the beaches, the Ventura Pier, The Ventura Harbor, antique stores, shopping centers (The Collections in Oxnard,) The Camarillo Outlet mall, grocery stores and the main highway (Hwy 101) while being situated far enough away from the crowds and traffic. This house is also situated in a quiet, laid-back, family friendly neighborhood of which many of the residents have lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years.
