An amazing luxury mountain rental located on Sugar Mountain in N.C. If you are looking for the perfect vacation home for your family, this is definitely it! Sitting at 5300 ft above sea level on Sugar Mountain, you will find this 5 bedroom, 4 bath home sleeps twelve (14) guest comfortably and meet all your vacation needs. We are located only minutes from the slopes of Sugar Mountain for winter skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and snow tubing. In the Spring and Summer months, you can go mountain biking, hiking, play golf, gem mine, play putt putt, tube or kayak on The New River, go white water rafting, ride an alpine coaster, shop, etc. . Located in Banner Elk, on Sugar Mountain you are just mins. to the entrance to Sugar Mountain Ski resort, a short drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Valle Crucis, Boone or Blowing Rock and are close to many other tourist attractions including: Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Falls/Caverns, Hawk’s Nest, a variety of restaurants, shops and many others attractions.

The Home Features:
As you enter the Trinity, you are welcomed by an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to get warm and cosy by. The living room also has a wet bar, comfortable newly installed seating, & a TV w/Roku. The spacious kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots/pans and cooking utensils to make cooking a family meal easy & enjoyable. There is a breakfast area with table that sits 8, a high bar with 4 barstools and the dining room table sits 8 so there is room for everyone. If you prefer to be outside, the deck has a grill, outdoor dining table that sits 6, additional seating and a large hot tub to enjoy after your meal! You will love the large primary bedroom with king bed, TV, large primary bathroom with dual vanities, tiled shower and separate jacuzzi tub. There is also a private door that leads to the deck and Hot tub. 3 additional bedrooms are located on the main level, all with TV's and all decorated with mountain decor. (1 BR w/King, 1 BR w/queen & 1 BR w/queen bunkbeds) and 2 additional full baths. The 5th bedroom is located above the garage and has 1 queen bed & 2 single beds, a TV and the 4th (newly added) full bathroom. The garage has been converted into a 2nd living area/game room w/heating & A/c, carpet, sofa & chairs, an 86" smart TV, pool table, stand up video arcade w/60+ games, an electronic pinball with 100's of different choices of pinball games and a Golden Tee golf game providing entertainment for any age! The property itself is flat offering a great option for outdoor play. There is a basketball goal and corn hole boards to keep the whole group active! To complete your evening, you can choose to get in the large bubbly hot tub or enjoy the wood burning stone fireplace with seatwall and Adirondack chairs. Great area for roasting marshmallows and sharing fireside stories.

The Trinity is sleeps 14 guest with 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and has a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. The front of the house has a covered porch with gliders & bench seating. Wifi is provided.

We are Eco-friendly with solar panels and Geothermal!
Paved access all the way to the home
Parking for 4+ cars, depending on size. (DO NOT PARK ON GRASS!)

** 4WD or chains are always recommended when visiting the mountains in winter.

This is an amazing property. Large and spacious for our group of 8 and could have held more, plenty of things to do with the game room, hot tub and outdoor fireplace, beautifully decorated for our Christmas stay, ideally located to Sugar Mountain slopes. Owner was also very responsive. Thanks for the great time!

Very large with lots of bedrooms, nice kitchen. Nice hot tub and fire pit area. Very clean with a lot of light from the windows. Little bit of climb on the road to get there but the view was incredible.

This home had a great location that was close to everything we planned to do. Even though the weather was not cooperative to be outside around the house, the pool table, ping pong table and arcade games kept the kids occupied. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this rental.

This rental was everything and more than we expected. The house and property were even nicer and more beautiful than the pictures. The area is beautiful and I liked that there was a good lion close 2 miles away. We saw deer in the backyard. Game room was a hit. We would definitely come back.

The Trinity

We had a great week in the mountain. Weather was perfect…a couple of rainy days, windy days and sunny days. Lots to do around here and restaurants and grocery stores very close. I asked my 14 year old son was his favorite part about the trip was and he said, “The quiet.” This was a great place to recharge the soul. Thank you again for sharing your home.

Booked the home for 12 people. 5 couples and 2 singles. More than enough room for everybody to have their own space. The home was very cozy and gives you warm mountain feeling throughout the home. All the appliances worked great and were also very clean upon arrival. Bathrooms and showers were very clean upon arrival as well. Beds were dressed nicely and clean. Communication with the property owner was very easy. Overall it was a great home that gives you NC mountain vibes in a very good way. Nothing bad to say about my experience this past weekend. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely fantastic home for a perfect vacation!!

This home is absolutely beautiful! From the drive up the mountain to the home, the views as you approach, the views from the home, the amount of space and the great layout of bedrooms and living space, you will not be disappointed. We had a large family vacation with 11 adults and 2 toddlers and the house was perfect. The toddlers were able to sleep in rooms away from common areas and were undisturbed. Grandparents were able to choose a "suite" away from the common areas for less noise. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were so much fun- not to mention the downstairs game room! Christine was so accommodating with an early check-in as we were trying to accomodate a toddler and the 4 hour travel time. We will definitely be returning year after year!

Great Place to Stay and close to Everything!

This Amazing place was so clean when we arrived and we loved the winter Mountain views, outside Firepit, hot tub and so much more! House was perfect for our Family's Christmas to all be together and stay a few days while taking in some Skiing, Alpine Coaster and so much more in the area! We enjoyed our time playing games, sitting around the outside Firepit and loved the inside fireplace as well! Beds were very comfortable and we will for sure be back in the future!

Outstanding Mountain House

Owner was very accomodating, pictures do not do this home justice. Clean, spacious, everything it is advertised to be. We had 15 people in our party ranging in age from 4 to 65 and there was something unique that let everyone have a great stay. Christmas decor was a huge plus!!

Fabulous Family Holiday Home
