HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.

COMMUNITY AMENITIES: 24-hour guarded security gate, creek dock with covered deck, two community pools – 1 Olympic with adjacent kiddie playground and 1 freeform with hot tub (No pool heat. Seasonal use subject to HOA management), three beach boardwalks with rinsing shower, access to 7 miles of beach. All amenities are within easy walkable proximity.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

INLET POINT: Part of a unique gated community on a secluded peninsula bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and a tidal saltmarsh creek, Inlet Point enjoys ready access to seven miles of soft sand beach as well as stunning tidewater vistas from sunrise to sunset. A few shops and restaurants are within walking distance from the gate. The greater Waccamaw Neck area additionally offers grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks, boating excursions, Brookgreen Gardens (nationally renowned), Huntington Beach State Park (think history, birding), and more.

Wonderful property!

Such a great place. All the comforts of home with an amazing view of the ocean and nice balcony to sit and take it all in. Enjoyed lots of long walks on the beautiful beach. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus.

From central US to the coast

A+ rating for the house and location. Concern only because 3 of the 4 of us need/require precautions due to safety needs ie. non slip throw rugs, tub floor surface with mat or some other safety feature, and possibly grab bars. House was very clean and beautifully appointed. On line info was confusing. It stated we would not have linens if staying less than a week, basic kitchen needs would have to be provided by the guest ie s/p, condiments, etc. All in all, we loved our time there. Of course the ocean was a big plus! If we come to the area again, we would definitely stay with you again!

Inlet Point is a small gated community uniquely located on a secluded peninsula bounded by the Atlantic on one side and a tidal salt marsh on the other with access to an extensive beach, two swimming pools, whirlpool, playground, and fishing/crabbing dock on the creek.

Litchfield Beach is easily among the prettiest beaches in South Carolina. Bounded by low lying sand dunes and the blue-green ocean, the beach is characteristically wide with soft white sand and spans 7 miles from end to end.

Summertime gets busy on Litchfield Beach, a time when families rekindle friendships made from past stays as many book year after year in the same home within this small, beachside community. Grocery and beach gear stores, popular dining venues, and local eclectic shops are conveniently close by, including a few within walkable distance from the Inlet Point gate.

Huntington Beach State Park shares the same strand as South Litchfield Beach, a popular destination for families, photographers, and nature lovers. A 4-mile drive north along Ocean Highway 17 will bring you to the forested state park entrance where visitors will fall under the enchanting spell of the beauty and wildlife of the Lowcountry sand dunes and marshlands.

Also 4 miles away is Brookgreen Gardens, another local treasure. Brookgreen displays world renowned sculpture amidst acres of lush gardens and majestic oaks and offers miles of walking paths through what once was a working rice plantation. It is also home to the only accredited zoo on the Carolina coast, where you will see rescued native animals in their natural habitats.

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its “arrogantly shabby” character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach – and island – where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach.
