HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.

BEACH ACCESS: Approx. 3-minute walk. From the driveway on Ancient Mariner Lane, head 3 doors down to Parker Drive, turn left, continue one door down, and cross over to the boardwalk path.

BIKE TRAIL ACCESS: The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway runs through North Litchfield Beach parallel to Ocean Highway 17. Pick up the trail by heading toward Ocean Highway via North Boyle Road or Windover Drive to Trace Drive. Look for the white on blue Bike Path markers.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours.

NORTH LITCHFIELD BEACH: Untouched by commercial enterprise, this residential neighborhood is coveted for its relaxed character and uncrowded stretch of sand. In addition to miles of beachcombing, the popular Waccamaw Bikeway passes through this area. Hop on the trail and head north to experience the fascinating Brookgreen Gardens or explore the vibrant estuaries at Huntington Beach State Park. Head south to shop, find great local dining, and enjoy the Lowcountry vibe. Numerous prized golf courses are also in the area as well as art galleries, historic landmarks, and boat excursions.

Nice stay for Thanksgiving

Stayed here while visiting our mother over the holidays. The house was nice and clean. Would have liked to have the bare necessities provided though like hand soap, dish soap and what not, but not a big deal. The house itself could use some updates/repairs, but I think that's the case for all houses in the neighborhood as there are remodel/repair projects going on at many locations.

Solid beach house.

Very convenient to beach access. A solid beach house with all the appliances, kitchen utensils, and room to move around that you need. Patio and porches are spacious. Very clean and some of the furniture is a little dated but it does not matter because it is a beach house. Enjoyed it being pet friendly and owner seemed very accommodating. Hopefully will try to stay there again. Stayed during Hurricane Debbie so we were house bound for 5 days and did not get on beach as much as we had planned but at least the last day was very nice. Only drawback I can think of is I wished they had a king size bed in the master bedroom.

Nice location to beach and clean facilitates.

If you are looking for a location close to the beach that is dog friendly you have just found it. The location is an easy walk to the beach and the 3-bedrooms were of nice space for three couples or family. Nice covered back deck. The outdoor grills were somewhat dated, but not a major concern. Would stay here again.

Five stars from the whole family

Very impressed with the ease of Vrbo registration. The property was exactly as presented if not better than expected. The location was not on the beach but was so close it really didn't matter. The neighborhood was very quiet and the daily walk was a treat. The property had plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, and towels. Did not need anything beyond what was there and what they told you to bring. Would definitely go here again.

October mini-vacation

Everything was as advertised or better. Half bock to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. We wanted to stay in Pawley's Island and this one is really in Litchfield - a bit further than we hoped. (Admittedly, that's more of my issue with maps than the listing itself) However, if you are interested in Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach, you are right next door.

Roomy w/an 80’s vibe !

Overall the property was good. We were happy to have a grill and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. It rained a lot so the yard had standing water. Not able to sit outside and enjoy the huge deck because of mosquito’s. The house was close to the beach as described which was a plus.

This vacation qet away was quiet, and relaxing, in a perfect location where you can hear the ocean waves on your back deck. Its large enough for the whole family and our pet lab who was right at home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The North Litchfield Beach community resides along a bike path that meanders into Huntington Beach State Park where visitors can observe the beauty and wildlife of the Lowcountry sand dunes and wetlands.
