About this property

The house is equipped with a pool / swimming pool, a living room (with convertible sofa), a bedroom and its bathroom as well as a very nice little wooden house with a magnificent view of the valley . The accommodation is located in the center of Montvalent, a beautiful village, 15 minutes from Rocamadour, 15 minutes from Padirac and 15 minutes from Martel. The view from the house is exceptional and overlooks the Dordogne. You will appreciate my accommodation for the location, the large terraced garden and the charm of the place. Different activities are located near the house, the Padirac chasm, one of the most beautiful villages in France Rocamadour, the Dordogne and its canoe trips as well as many hikes. The use of the house is exclusively reserved for tenants, you will have access to the whole house, the swimming pool, the main house, the wooden house and a large garden. Prix exorbitant par rapport à la prestation

Gite sale, pas d'eau chaude, vaisselle sale dans le lave-vaisselle à notre arrivée. Jardin en friche inutilisable, et des vipères de partout

Méfiance : tout est fait à l´économie

Nous aurions dû nous méfier d´une annonce, soit disant mal rédigée, qui nous a fait payer le chauffage en août. Hygiène des lieux douteuse : cuisine, coin douche sales à notre arrivée. Table de jardin rouillée. Dans le bâtiment principal, un seul filet d´eau chaude : impossible de faire la vaisselle correctement ou de se laver. Il a fallu faire chauffer l´eau, comme au camping. Ce manque de confort de base est inacceptable, vu le prix. Les toilettes sont dans la chambre, séparés par un rideau. Il faut sortir et descendre pour aller aux toilettes, ou prendre sa douche comme au camping. Location pour 6 personnes : seulement 2 lits doubles dans cette location dont l´un isolé dans la cabane (fort sympathique mais pas adapté pour des enfants). Aucune intimité pour 4 personnes dans le bâtiment principal. L´unique chambre communique avec la pièce du canapé lit. Le propriétaire nous a appelés très, trop souvent : louer sa maison nécessite de la rendre agréable, fonctionnelle avant l´arrivée des locataires. En vacances, nous avions vraiment besoin de repos, et l´aider à résoudre ses problème de plomberie n´était pas dans nos projets. Un livret d´accueil explicatif serait plus opportun. La piscine, protégée des regards, reste à l´ombre une bonne partie de la journée. L´eau est froide. Le prix est trop élevé par rapport aux prestations proposées. Pour vivre une expérience "nature", sans internet, on trouve des location moins chères.

Très belle maison, dans un cadre intimiste surplombant la Dordogne

Maison agréable, cachée dans la végétation. Piscine très appréciée. Le village accessible à pied avec un restaurant. La cabane étant séparé de la maison elle est plutôt à destination d'enfants capables de dormir éloignés des parents. Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour.

Excellent sejour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine a Montvalent, la vue sur la dordogne est superbe et très reposante. C'est le point fort de la maison et il vaut Le détour.q Nous avons adoré les moments sur la terrasse de la cabane à regarder le soleil se coucher sur la vallée. La maison est agréable, simple, fonctionnelle, il y a 2 endroits pour manger dans le jardin en fonction de la position du soleil. La piscine est agréable et bien située, et que dire du décor de cinéma du petit village, des quelques maisons qui entourent la propriété et du château qui tapisse l'arrière plan. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour dans une très belle region. Et pour ne rien gâcher, Vincent nous a très bien accueilli
