Escape the city and unwind on the waters of beautiful Lake McQueeney. This home is one of a kind. It sits right on the lake with a relaxing breeze. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family retreat or a secluded getaway. The main house offers a screened in porch, large deck and patio overlooking the river, and ample space to lounge. In addition to the main house, the guest apartment is complete one bedroom apartment with bathroom and kitchenette. From tennis and volleyball courts (all on the grounds) to lounging and grilling for the adults to games and swimming for kids, this house is ideal vacation home.
The home is within 30 minutes of New Braunfels, Seguin, and Gruene, and one hour from Austin and San Antonio.

Renters need to be 35 or older. No dogs are permitted.

A hidden gem

This is an absolutely amazing and breath taking property and I only gave it 3 stars for accuaracy of listing because it is so much better than the pictures! You will not be disappointed. Many thanks to Bud for checking in on us and showing us the catfish and fixing the grill handle. Gypsy is an older mellow german shepherd living on the property and was a great greeter and friendly companion during our stay. This is not your typical rental, it is lovingly cared for inside and out. We can't wait to return!

Amazing house and property

Beautiful home! The pictures do not do it justice. The house had everything we needed for a great weekend on the river. It's an easy 20 minute drive to Gruene for rafting and dinner. The owner was very responsive to all of our needs.
