INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Beachfront Beauty

We had a fantastic stay at Calypso Tower West! The 4th-floor location was ideal—close to the elevators, but also easy to take the stairs straight down to the beach or pool. The condo was very spacious and fit our group of 10 comfortably.The balcony was a favorite spot for us—perfect for watching sunsets and enjoying the view. Everything was clean, convenient, and just as described. We had a great experience and will definitely be booking here again!

Spacious and comfortable but needs better cookware

Would definitely stay here again. The condo was very spacious and comfortable. Since this is a beach condo, it would have been nice to have a broom and dustpan. An updated set of pots and pans would also make using the kitchen more enjoyable.

Fall Break Gem

Unit was clean with all described amenities. The fact that this unit was on the fourth floor was awesome. Great views, but I could take the stairs instead of waiting on elevator. Parking was well managed.

Needs updated

The condo was good but the dryer didn’t want to work, the back sliding door to the balcony wouldn’t lock, bunk beds squeak at every move. Did enjoy always having hot water!! The rooms could be upgraded with a paint job. Also, for a group of 9 staying, 2 trash bags and dishwasher pods is not enough. Consider giving a little more. Same with laundry detergent.

Only complaint is about the beds. Master bedroom Amd bunk room mattresses are horrible. Could feel the springs basically poking through. Definitely time for new ones. Didn’t sleep well at all in the master bedroom.

Will not stay again!

Where do I begin…. I asked about parking an additional vehicle that would not fit in garage prior to arriving and again at the Panhandle Gateways front desk. I was given incorrect information both times. Don’t buy an additional parking pass, just go to the security guard at the garage. Front desk is clueless and do not care if they help or not. We arrived a little before check in time and luckily found a luggage cart (good luck with that). Everyone seemed to be able to get in their rooms early, but not us. Our room was not ready at the check in time and we waited an additional hour in the walkway with luggage. Again, the front desk was useless. Finally got to the room and it was nice with plenty of room, but not as nice as pictured. Here are some issues: Living room rug was not vacuumed, no dust pan, air conditioner vents severely clogged and dirty, sliding doors very hard to open and the one in the master bedroom was impossible to open and living room smoke detector was missing. The beach area was entirely too crowded. We ended up going to the public beach next door. Not enough chairs at the pool and ice is $4.00 for a bag. Could not find a cart for check out, so we thought we could pull our car up to the building for 10 minutes to load everything instead of pulling it out to the parking garage. Nope… they blocked the drive at checkout. Very disappointed with the facility and staff. We paid entirely too much for the value we received and will never stay there again or recommend. We loved the beaches and the activities away from the condo.

Great Condo!

The condo was great, it was some of my families first time staying in one and they loved it. We had a great view, not too low and not too high up! The beds and couch are very comfy and our party of 9 fit great. The washer took quite awhile to do a load but that is really the only grumble. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Condo was fantastic ! Location fantastic

Only negative comments are #1 -washer in condo was broke and did not get replaced until the day we left . Panhandle staff kept me updated and in the loop but still was a little inconvenience. #2 I feel like the condo should automatically come with complimentary chair and umbrella . But overall the condo ,Calypso Resort was awesome !!!!

Family vaca 2021

Loves the view. The sliding door in the master bedroom was very hard to open. The dryer doesn’t dry in one cycle and the bunk bed on bottom squeaks every time you move in it but other than that we loved it and will mostly visit again

Great location and clean property

The place Was so close to pier park. We walked over each night and ate or let the kids do something fun. Everyone at Calypso was nice and professional also. Beaches were clean.
