About this property

Come stay in our beautiful 3-story 3918 square foot cabin with a gorgeous wrap around deck and breath taking views. In addition, our home is located only 20 minutes from Lake Santeelah, which was voted the most beautiful lake in the United States in 2019/2020. You may also notice wildlife roaming freely on the property to give you that true mountain experience so sit back and enjoy the outdoors. Our home is also 2 miles from the Appalachian trail and about 30 minutes from Fontana Lake and Resort. We have provided a dartboard, board games, and a shuffleboard table in the game room area for your entertainment. In addition, we have covered parking for small vehicles and a fire pit overlooking the creek. Guests will be greeted upon arrival and home will be unlocked at that time. Please contact the owner at least 2 hours in advance prior to arrival at the property so we can have someone there to open the home for you. This home was built by family and it took them 10 years to complete. It is very special to our family and we hope to retire there someday. With that being said, please be respectful of our home and those living nearby. In addition, there is absolutely no unknown guests, pets of any kind, shooting of firearms, or loud parties allowed on this property or you will be asked to leave and will not receive your refund. The maximum amount of guests allowed in this home is 8 and each guest must be accounted for prior to your stay in our home.

Weekend stay

Very nice place to stay for a get away weekend on the motorcycles. Place is a little hard to find but that was only due to bad phone signal delayed messaging. Ran into some weather getting there but owners were good enough to ensure someone was there to meet us after a long delay. Very clean and quiet and relaxing after a long day of riding.

Long road out of town.

Several minutes down a long back road out of Robbinsville. A neighbor with hunting dogs that wouldn't stop barking.

Beautiful location and amenities

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home very much for a family Christmas get-away to the mountains. The place was spotless upon arrival and felt like home immediately. We were not prepared to have no cell service, no internet AND no land line, but the short 15-minute drive into town allowed us access when needed. Most nights were so quiet and peaceful minus the night were heard barking dogs all night long. The owners were easy to ask questions to and responded immediately. We would highly recommend staying here as a family!

We came on motorcycles, note: the driveway is paved, however it’s just as scary as tail of the dragon!🤣 Be careful your 1st time going up! The cabin is beautiful, plenty of space!! I would recommend this property! Note to owner: the kitchen sink has NO pressure, this needs to be looked at. The one key left on the property, we could not get it to open ANY of the doors?? You. We’d a New table for outside by the fire pit. We had to buy and we left it in the cabin a can opener. Thank you for letting us use your home!!

We love staying in our mountain home during visits and hope to retire there within the next 5 years. We love the military life but are anxious to settle down in our beautiful home in the mountains someday.
