The Space

A POOL! We have just completed the construction of a plunge pool in a very secluded area of the garden. This means great protection from any wind and the water is sure to remain a pleasant temperature. SOLAR POWER So lights and uninterrupted WIFI- great if you need to work from home!

Great access to the beach and secure parking for one car.

Private entrance and private entertainment outdoor area.

I am always available to assist guests and to suggest places to see.

Great surfing and bodyboarding. Take long walks along the beach and spot the whales breaching.

Home was very clean and in a great location in Kommetjie near the beach and within walking distance to the center of town. Wifi worked very well. Corné is a great host and we’d love to come back to this home again!

A beautiful, restful retreat

This beautiful and peaceful priority had everything we needed for a private getaway with access to the quieter neighborhoods of Cape Town. Just a one minute walk took us to a quiet and secluded beach with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The beach walks were so relaxing!

great family trip

First I have to thank Corne and Louise for the uncomplicated management of reorganizing a double booking. Everything turned out well with staying in Kommetjie close to our family. Corne and Bill are wonderful hosts. They made us feel home. We enjoyed our stay in this new and modern house with great views from the terrace. Of course it was very clean, towels including beach towels have been available and changed regularly. The kitchen is well equipped, the fridge with its ice machine was my brothers favorite. The beach is very close and invites for running or long walks. Thank you again for the lovely home you gave us. We really enjoyed it

We travel a lot - what we experienced in this accommodation was unique. Both the condition of the apartment the landlord's ignorant response to our complaints.When we moved in, the apartment was still a construction site. The painter was still working outside the interior smelled strongly of paint. There were open cable ducts hanging lamp connections everywhere, one bedroom in particular was completely empty except for a bed. After we expressed our horror, a simple side table a lamp was organized. In the bathroom, there was a large window without screen was easily visible. There was no mirror no other amenities. The advertised small pool was a rotten, disused basin. Where the outdoor shower should have been, there were only exposed pipes hanging around.We had to sleep in the stench because it was not possible to open a window at night due to a lack of a security system. The whole apartment was bare uncomfortable. There was a few essential pieces of cheap, worn-out furniture.In addition, the gate for the driveway was installed incorrectly. Someone had to stand on the sensor to prevent the car from being trapped by the closing gate. As a precaution, we parked outside. However, we felt very uncomfortable during our stay. The lady ignored all the solutions we suggested verbally and by email.As we had told the landlady at the beginning, we left one night earlier. We asked for a refund for that night. That would have been the least we would have expected.

Alles perfekt 😍

Angefangen mit der Lage. Ruhige, sicher wirkende Ortschaft, einige kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit regionalen Produkten. Alles zu Fuß problemlos erreichbar. Vom Cottage sind es wenige Schritte zum wunderschönen Strand 😍 Die Wohnung selbst top ausgestattet ( mein Favorit der Gefrierkühlschrank mit vorgeschaltetem Wasserfilter für Eiswürfel und Trinkwasser) und sauber. Es gibt auch einen solar-backup im Fall von Stromausfall. Und dann noch die wunderbaren Gastgeber, die an Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft kaum zu übertreffen sind! Corné scheint für jeden rum um die Uhr erreichbar zu sein und kümmert sich sofort um jedes Anliegen oder Frage. Wir hatten hier den schönsten (von unseren) Familienurlaube an den wir uns lange mit Freude erinnern werden! Danke Corné!

Corne's and Bill's cottage is a haven of tranquility and comfort. Just steps from the beach and close to all shopping amenities in Noordhoek, it is the ideal launch pad for exploring all the Peninsula has to offer. Corne and Bill will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, including washing the dishes!

Nice place, good location. Nice person. But during our stay of 6 nights, 3 days we had no electricity in the kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine couldn't work) and the sleeping and bath room of the children haven't no heating and it was very cold and wet at night.

Ein glanzvolles Apartment

Glänzende Marmorböden und viele Spiegel an den Wänden lassen das zweistöckige Apartment geradezu strahlen. Wir waren total begeistert von der Qualität dieses Domizils. Geräumige Bäder, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten auch draußen und vor allem eine exzellente Küche. Alle Elektro-Geräte auf neuestem Standard und Küchenutensilien für alle denkbaren Gerichte. Natürlich auch ein sicherer Parkplatz und gutes Internet. Gastgeberin Corné kümmert sich um den täglichen Service und hat Tipps für die Umgebung. Das Meer kann man von der Terrasse aus rauschen hören, um aber an den Strand zu kommen, muss man etwa 200 m über einen Sand-Weg und eine stille Straße gehen. Es lohnt sich, den Surfern zuzusehen.

Beautiful house with top notch service!

The house was clean, well maintained and in a beautiful location. The house had every facility you might need including a new pool and a lovely area to have a braai. Very close to a scenic beach and well situated in between the different attractions in the Cape Town area. On top of that the house always felt safe and secure and the area around it was likewise. Apart from the fantastic accommodations, the customer service shown by the host was what really set our experience apart. Every day our host would give us recommendations on what restaurants and attractions to visit based on what we mentioned we would like to see. These recommendations as well as the host's experience with the area helped us make the most of our visit. Besides the customer service our host was always friendly, polite and helpful which was truly appreciated. We would strongly recommend this house to anyone and we would like to thank Corne for being such a wonderful host.

Terrific getaway

The cottage was perfect for our long weekend away with bicycles. It's ideally located near Cape Point and the climbs over Ou Kaapse Weg. The accommodation was immaculate and I've been recommending Greenways to anyone interested in Cape Town.
