Located on the top floor, end unit of Building 9, this spacious and stylish condo offers awe-inspiring sunset views over the ocean. Fully furnished with tasteful island-inspired décor, the unit features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave.

The primary suite includes a king bed, en-suite bath, and rare air conditioning, while the rest of the condo is kept cool with ceiling fans and open-air flow. The loft, serving as the second bedroom, offers two queen-size mattresses—ideal for families or small groups. Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Princeville. The property was as described and in a great location for exploring the north shore of Kauai. Views from the property are amazing.

Beautiful View

This property had absolutely everything we needed and we wish we had booked it for longer. The views were amazing, the place was well maintained and had everything we needed. Our family would highly recommended this place! Remember there are only stairs to the condo.

Great North Shore Location

Check in was easy & condo was as described. Got a little warm in the afternoons, but cooled down nicely at night with the breeze & we were there in the hottest time of the year. Concierge was very helpful booking our activities. Great view of the ocean & a short drive to the beach. Hanalei Bay is great during the day & awesome at sunset from the pier.

Great Princeville condo close to lovely Hanalei Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Princeville and great location within The Cliffs, building 9 with great views. Only negative is that a/c units only cool bedrooms, so at times condo still very stuffy. Also understand that island is hot and humid, but bathroom vents were covered in mold/mildew and main bedroom a/c unit smelled like it needed servicing. Plus bathroom towel hook was hanging precariously off the wall. Overall a great place to stay though.

Lovely, peaceful place in Princeville

We loved this stay! It slept 4 adults comfortably without us feeling like we were on top of each other. The loft is a little warmer than the rest of the house, but there are multiple fans tucked away in the closet for use. Cools down nicely at night. Great morning views from the lanai, and only 30 second is walking distance to chairs by the Cliffs to watch the morning waves. Great location and would stay here again.

Afternoon sun heats up the apartment somewhat, but once sun sets, temp is perfect.

Can’t beat the view

Beautiful location in Princeville. An extremely special unit that has views of the mountains and the ocean. With that said, everything else about this property is average. The place was clean, but everything inside seemed a little older. The property had many amenities that were again very average including a tiny gym and very full garbage/recycling bins. The people who worked the front desk were extremely rude and off putting in every interaction our group had with them. I don’t fault the property for that, just something to notice as they are essentially the face of the property.

What a lovely place. Breathtaking views of the mountains and the ocean. Clean and stocked with the necessities (even items to take to the beach - including cook packs! They thought of everything!). Tastefully decorated, down to the dinnerware and picture frames. If you want a feel of Hawaii, this unit is it. I am hard pressed to find fault with this rental, but if I had to it would be the age of the beach chairs. Yes - that's it! I was pleasantly surprised with the second AC unit in the loft area, which I did not expect. I knew from other reviewers that an airconditioned unit is critical for comfort (especially for us Mainland folks who are accustomed to central air), but we knew going in that this unit only had AC in the master. But the breeze that comes through from the master balcony to the ocean side balcony made it almost unnecessary. I could have kept all sliding doors wide open and would have been comfortable the whole time. (Unfortunately, the city girl in me kept saying I had to keep all doors and windows locked.) The staff was very helpful when my TV's were not working. I brought up the issue after hours and by the next day, it was fixed. I am excited to be able to rent this unit again, and hope it will be available the next time we visit.

We enjoyed many evenings sitting on the porch gazing out at the sunlit palm trees, the mountains and the vast open ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, coffee makers, air fryer, and nice large fridge. The washer dryer was a stackable version which was perfect for small to medium loads. The entertainment center offered many movies on DVD which we did watch a couple and there were many wonderful books about Kauai to peruse. The master bedroom was very large, beds were very comfortable. The loft upstairs had 2 large queen beds excellent for 3 or more children or teens. There was AC in the master as well as upstairs and on several hot humid days we took advantage.This unit on the third floor is accessible only by outside stairs but it was no problem for our family 5. One wonderful surprise was the collection of beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, snorkle equipment and boogie boards. We used several and it was such a delight. The pool was very enjoyable as were the 2 separate hot tubs. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know several nice guests. At sunset guest come gather on the ocean side lawn to watch the sun go down. Just watch out for Nene goose poop on the lawn. We loved our stay but one annoyance was paying for parking daily ($10 per day) and sometimes having no where to park. It depended on how late at night you were out as to parking availability. There were bikes you could borrow (we wanted to but ran out of time). There were community grills but we didn't use them. Overall wonderful, definitely stay here again.

It is up three flights of stairs but that makes the views incredible. We ate every meal for three weeks on the lanai. Our friends stayed in the loft for half the time. There is no door to the loft so if someone really needs privacy in the second bedroom, they might not like it. But we found it to be perfect. We cook a lot and had everything we needed plus great looking Hawaiian china. I wish we could live here. Oceanfront was super responsive to our minor issues as always. Oh, and we saw whales from the lanai in late April. Pool and hot tub are great. And the place was spotless.

When we checked in, the help desk folks were very impressed with this unit- we felt like royalty! There’s no elevator- so make sure you are able to carry luggage up a bunch of stairs. The only thing I can think of was the batteries for the ceiling fan was dead and the neighbors below/beside us were pretty loud and smoking a lot of pot. But we really loved the unit and definitely plan to stay here again!

Peaceful, relaxing and quiet

We had a wonderful time at the Cliffs. Everything you would possibly need is there. In our condo there’s a blender, dishwasher(dishwasher tablets), spatulas, spots, pans & Tupperware. The view is absolutely incredible. In my opinion it’s the best on the property. Clean inside condo & on the grounds itself. We will definitely come back next year.

Can’t beat the view!

We had several issues with things not working/breaking. It was very hot in the condo in the afternoons. They supplied three fans but one didn’t work. The upstairs air unit stopped working but they were there immediately to repair. The bathrooms could have been cleaner but the view made it all worthwhile! Amazing!

Large unit with stunning view

This condo is very large and likely the best view unit of the Cliffs property. Kitchen has everything you need. Living area and bedrooms are all very comfortable. Eating on deck is gorgeous. Views are terrific. Highly recommend. We grilled fish one night (multiple grills on site) which was terrific. Lovely to sit on bluff and watch sunset. There is not central air. There is an airconditioning unit in each bedroom. Temperatures were comfortable and fans kept main areas cool. However, we found the bedrooom air conditioning unit very loud and interfered with sleep for one of us. Owners have lovely art in the unit. Property management company is terrific and highly responsive. The pool area leaves much to be desired -- although our kids loved it. Property has tennis courts & basketball court, also cruiser bike rentals are easy but bring helmets. We were sad to not bike as we insist on helmets.
