This property is recently renovated! You will enjoy a clean, comfortable and relaxing home. Located right next door to Pointe D'Vine Wedding Venue & Vineyard, which has a tasting room. The cottage overlooks the Mississippi River valley which has beautiful autumn colors. Three bedrooms, one bath home with spacious open floor plan, all on one level.1300 sq feet that comfortably fits 4 adults and 2 children. We chose calming colors to compliment the natural tones of the space, in a modern chic style.

Perfect little cottage for a weekend in Quincy

Couldn’t ask for a better experience. I don’t know how many times my family commented on how much better it was to stay here than a hotel. We will be back.

Peaceful Setting

The house was immaculate- loved the view to the woods outside the back windows. Had all of the conveniences we needed. Very convenient to Hannibal where we attended a memorial service for family member. I would highly recommend!

Girls weekend 2023

This is a beautiful, cozy cottage that we just loved! We decided on a weekend in Hannibal and the location was great. Not too close/not too far. Bedrooms are comfy. Dining and living room spacious. Hosts very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Nice, Quiet, and Clean

My best friend and I stayed for our anual Halloween trip and it was wonderful. We wanted a quiet retreat this year and this rental delivered. The entire area is rural and quiet but within reasonable driving distace to both Hannibal and Quincy. I will say that it was hard to find anything open on Monday so if we are in the area again on a Monday we will plan better. I would definitely stay here again.

Girls Weekend

A Great time was had by all. This was the perfect location to meet family members and have a quiet Girls weekend away. We had 6 adults stay in this location and we had plenty of room. The only thing that would have helped was a 2nd bathroom. With 6 women this was a little interesting but we all made it work. We knew when we booked that there was only one. We had everything that we needed and the kitchen was well stocked as plenty of towels and wash clothes for everyone. Very clean and would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your rental with us!!!

This was our 2nd stay here . Last year we spent most of our time touring Hannibal . Then we "discovered" Quincy ! This location is an easy 15 minute trip away from each town .The accommodations are furnished with everything one would require to enjoy their stay . The view out the picture window is magnificent ! Quiet, with a perfect grove of trees surrounding, this is your ideal place to stay !

Cozy & Peaceful

This was the perfect little home for our week long stay near Quincy! It had everything our family needed and was very cute and clean! Our son loved the large front yard. We were there in June so it was a treat watching the Fire Flies at night. When communicating with the host, they were very responsive and polite. If we ever find our way back to Quincy, we would love to stay there again!

The cottage was renovated in the spring of 2019. It was previously owned by our sweet, kind elderly neighbors who lived here their entire adult lives, until moving to a retirement home. We were their neighbors for 20 years.
We have always lived in the Quincy area; only moving away in the early 90s for a job transfer for two years but couldn’t wait to get back. We have been married for 40 years, raised 7 wonderful children and now enjoying 18 grandchildren. We have so enjoyed this area for the past 25 years and are excited for our guests to experience what the area has to offer!
Mark works in the financial business while Debbie is a homemaker. We most enjoy cooking together and having our children and grandchildren to our home to enjoy meals together.

The cottage is a secluded property just 1 mile from I-72. It's 12 miles from Quincy, IL; 10 miles from Hannibal, MO and right next door to Pointe D'Vine wedding venue and winery.
