The peaceful location of this cabin provides the perfect environment for diving into a good book or even writing one of your own. Listen to the sounds of nature while enjoying a cool summer night on the front porch. Unleash your inner chef and surprise your loved one with an effortless breakfast in bed. Later, fire up the BBQ grill and sizzle up some steaks as the afternoon sun slowly sets through the trees.

NOTE: It is a two mile off road rustic experience to the cabin from the main road, with occasional steep bumpy inclines and dirt/gravel terrain.

NOTE: It is a two mile off road rustic experience to the cabin from the main road, with occasional steep inclines and dirt/gravel terrain. Although 2-wheel drive vehicles can make it with some skilled driving, a 4-wheel drive or AWD is highly recommended. If you are unfamiliar with mountain roads this may not be the cabin for you. But it is definitely worth the humps & bumps when you get here! Plan ahead and stop at one of the food/supply stores on your way in, as it is about 20-25 minutes from the cabin once there. Walmart & grocery/fast food stores are plentiful in either Ellijay to the south or Blue Ridge to the north.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin at the top of the mountain. Check-in was very easy, and the host was very responsive with great communication—even sharing a list of their favorite local places to visit. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs at night listening to the sounds of nature, and the hot tub on the lower deck was spectacular for relaxing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. We even spotted a black bear cub, which made the trip extra special. A truly magical anniversary getaway!

Awesome

It perfect for what we wanted, away from everything. Definitely need AWD or 4WD, I discounted this not expecting Georgia to have any challenging roads. My wife’s AWD got us up there easy but would be challenging in 2WD. Fished over in Blue ridge and spent a bit of time downtown. Highly recommend

Peaceful Relaxation!!!!

Myself, a coworker, and her b/f rented the cabin for an extended birthday weekend stay! Was absolutely thrilled with the peacefulness of the stay. Very cool quite mornings spent sitting in rocking chairs or laying across the porch swing on the lower level enjoying a cup of coffee! The grill was a fantastic asset as it was used daily for lunch/dinner! The host was very responsive with answers to any questions I had and communicated fantastically prior to the stay letting us know what to expect getting to the property & things to do around town! Will absolutely be bookmarking the listing for future getaways. Thank y’all for the opportunity to stay!!

Just what we needed!

Amanda and Todd were very accommodating and gracious hosts. Our cabin was very cozy and had a very picturesque view. We needed the seclusion and peacefulness to reset from our every day lives and we got it! It was close enough to the downtown area where we can jaunt” down the mountain to eat and shop if we choose to or stay in and light a fire and read a book. I would definitely stay again!

Well appointed, remote, Pinecone Cabin

Four wheel drive a must, however the road is well maintained. The quaint cabin has everything you need in linen and things. The kitchen is suited well for meal prep and presentation. Our littles are grown, however it is a great place and well appointed for both young and old alike. The rocking chairs on the covered porch are sturdy and comfortable for morning coffee. The fire pit and chairs are a great place to sit and gaze or even cook a steak. My wife and I highly recommend Pinecone Cabin. It is a great getaway for a remote experience.

Girls Weekend

Cute and SUPER CLEAN property! Well stocked kitchen and supplies, towels etc. Fire pit and got tub was wonderful. There are only 2 seats on the front porch and a 2 person swing on the bottom, so if you have more people I siggest bringing camp chairs. Fire pit has 4. Beds super comfortable. Please do take into account the description of the roads to the cabin. It is gravel/dirt with some areas that are steep and rough. My Toyota van made it, but AWD or 4WD would be much better. I would not recommend a car at all, something with at least some clearance. It is at the end and so quiet and peaceful. The owners really have thought of everything. Thank you for our visit. We sure did enjoy our relaxing stay at Pinecone Cabin!

Perfect for us

Owners pretty much have this figured out. We didn’t have to do much to have everything we needed. We sat around the camp fire, enjoyed some beverages and catching up with friends. Cabin is plenty big enough for 4 adults. They have Cornhole boards and even had a Bluetooth speaker that was perfect to use at the campfire while relaxing. We got a few trails in. Saw a few waterfalls and enjoyed some good food at the local restaurants. I’m not gonna say that you can make the trip up easily without a 4 wheel drive. However I was expecting way worse than it was. I’m confident I could have made it with about any regular vehicle but keep in mind this is the middle of June with perfect weather. Also I’ve lived around these mountains my entire life so it isn’t big deal to me. Im only mentioning the 4 wheel drive because it may scare some folks off thinking it was too bad to attempt. Unless snow is forecasted I personally wouldn’t sweat it, but that’s me. Amanda was on top of it. She messaged us with details about the cabin and giving us advice from the minute we booked the cabin. She even knew somehow we’d be needing some sort of fire starter that we forgot to pick up on the way to the cabin. She let us know where the fire starter logs were located. I just happened to look at my phone and see I had a message from her while trying to rub two sticks together to create a fire lol. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Amanda for opening up your cabin to us.
