Our Mountain getaway provides tree top mountain views, plenty of privacy, a brand new hot tub and convenient location to all the attractions of the Asheville area. We are just 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 min. to Weaverville, and 20 min. to downtown Asheville. This is a duplex with one cabin upstairs and one cabin downstairs. They are not connected from the inside and do not share any spaces. If you are reading this you are looking at the downstairs unit and will have only access to the hot tub.

Location, price, size was perfect. Also the coffee, cream and sugar was fabulous. Most of the time you have to have your own with you. Welcome card, and snack was great attention to detail. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient to our destination. The view from the deck is amazing. The host gives very clear directions and pictures to help you find the property. I would stay here again. We did not use the hot tub or the grill. When we arrived there were several mugs put away dirty with dried coffee in the bottom. The refrigerator needs a handle and one of the drawers is tough to open. In my opinion, it should be replaced. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Lovely mountainside stay

We were only there for short evenings, yet it was very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. the owner was very helpful with photos of how to get to the spot and was accomodating for some special arrangements we needed. All was great.

After ascending a quite steep mountainous incline, we arrived at a comfortable and cozy home, with a lit Christmas tree and welcome gift. The place was delightful. Make sure to bring beach towels to enjoy the hot tub- where we spent the nights. The hosts were very responsive. It was a great place for a family Christmas gathering. If you are not accustomed to traveling mountain roads, you may want to ensure you arrive before dark. The first trip up and down is a bit nervy- but once you get the feel of it, it’s okay. This is a great little spot for a small family or group of friends!

A wonderful jumping-off point for our family's outdoor adventures!

Natalie's property is a hidden gem. It was perfect for us as a young family -- close to amenities, but remote enough to not worry about our toddler making noise. We were so close to beautiful hiking, and the porch was the perfect place to relax each evening. We will definitely return!

Mountain getaway

The lower Wren unit worked well for our family of 4. Each boy had their own bed. The kitchen had all we needed. The host provided VERY helpful directions and photos to help us get in safely after dark. It was less than 30 minutes to Asheville and very quick to get on the Blue Ridge Pkwy for hiking. Our only issue was that you can hear everything the guests are doing in the upper unit. These guests were not loud, but they stayed up much later than our family. We could hear every footstep, all conversations and when their chairs moved on the deck. After miles of hiking each day this noise made it impossible to sleep in the main bedroom. Good home, Just be advised on the noise if you don’t rent the entire house.

We are so glad you are looking to stay in our cozy cabin. Our names our Matt and Natalie Knauer. We live just down the road in downtown Weaverville with our 2 kids, and our chocolate lab Remus. We have lived in the Asheville area for 20 years. We love exploring new restaurants, have old favorites, and frequently enjoy many of the outdoor experiences that our area has to offer. Please feel free to ask us any questions about where to go and what to do. Our hope is that you are able to relax, and enjoy your time in Weaverville and the surrounding area.

We live close by and are able to manage this well. This property is 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 min to downtown Weaverville, and only 20 min from all that Asheville has to offer. It has gorgeous mountain views!
