Enjoy a scenic drive up the mountains into Pisgah National Forest where this completely renovated home awaits. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the tranquil sound of Reems Creek and the waterfall. The kitchen has everything you need with an outdoor grill just around the corner. WIFI can be a bit spotty in the mountains, but fortunately we just upgraded to Starlink Satellite to give you and your family a better streaming experience. The rear porch is a great place to enjoy breakfast or relax in the new private outdoor soaking tub. Sit back and enjoy the best of what this property has to offer, the beauty of nature.

We chose this house after a reservation we had for 9 months was canceled by the owner 1 day before we left! Casey responded quickly and was so willing to assist us! The house is SO clean, everything you need and very close to Weaverville. The house sits on Reems Creek and if you are looking for some peace and serenity, check it out! Open the windows and listen to the water flowing over the rocks on the creek! Our adult daughters were very intrigued with the possibility of bear sightings that never happened but it provided them with endless entertainment! Thank you so much for your kindness, Casey!!
This was the most amazing stay. The house is exactly as pictured and is the cleanest property I have ever rented. The host is amazing and ensures that you are well taken care of. When you reach the property and get out you immediately hear the creek. Its sound is almost unreal. I actually even said wow they have the stream sound amplified some way but nope it’s just a clear indication that you have reached the perfect mountain escape. Morning tea on the porch and a good book is all you need. My friends and I treasured our time here and you will too.
We are a family of 5 looking to simply explore the area. This was the perfect home base! It was extremely clean and we love the proximity to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and trails.
We enjoyed the backyard creek and outdoor soaker tubs immensely! We were also impressed at the wifi. We never had an issue with connection! Very nicely done. We hope to come back again someday!
From the amazing stream to the immaculate and well appointed house, we could not have asked for a better experience.
We spent a very happy week there and wished we could’ve extended our stay.
This hillside hideaway is everything it says it is! We decided to pick up our son at UNCA and spend his spring break in this wonderful house - it was worth every minute! Tastefully decorated and filled with all the essentials! Just bring your food and plan for a peaceful getaway! The porch side creek was delightful as were the soaking tubs - just right for a chilly afternoon! And the supply of retro board games took me back to my childhood! Don’t miss this gem of an option!
Our family enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our stay for two additional nights. The house has quirks but it was extremely well stocked, we had every thing we needed for a comfortable visit, our kids had a blast, & Casey was a lovely and responsive host.
It is remote but we had no problems with Amazon deliveries. Phone service is essentially nonexistent but the WiFi is good and there is a landline in case of emergency. There was a pretty serious storm with gale warnings and high winds one night of our stay and power didn’t flicker & not one of my family members was woken up.
(The tub off of the Primary Bedroom is great, be patient because it takes a while to fill but it’s worth it!)
We loved it and will certainly book again.
We had a great time. Everything was so clean. The house was adorable and had everything we needed. Casey was great at answering my questions. I hope we can make it back again.

Weaverville Getaway
The house was great and secluded. If you looking to unplug and get away this is the place for you. My wife and I spent away without the kids and this was perfect. Golf at Reems Creek was great.
We had an amazing trip, the cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was a very cozy and comfortable trip, and the view of the stream was magical. The owner was so kind and responsive when we did need to reach out to her. We will be saving this cabin for our next trip to Asheville!
What a fun little spot! The creekside location was awesome, and the outdoor space is well-designed to take advantage of the scenery. We loved the porch tubs and the fire pit! The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. Highly recommend!
Overall, we loved this vacation rental. It was tucked away enough to feel private, but wasn't so remote you can't get to simple amenities like grocery stores or highways. Our family loved it. The views from inside the house create a cozy, woodland feel - the neighbors keep to themselves. The home was also well stocked and thought through for guests. Communication with host was fantastic! Thank you!
Wow!! What a wonderful experience!! The house was decorated beautifully. The soaker tubs were so relaxing. When you sit in the soaker tubs and listen to the creek, everything else just fades away. Our stay was relaxing, peaceful, and a very enjoyable experience. We definitely hope to return next year, if not sooner!!

Cute but remote
This is a very nice and clean home. On the creek that we really enjoyed. Home is down a long gravel road which is a little treacherous. We came to the mountains to ride motorcycles which is impossible from this home even after we asked if was ok to bring. Smoke detectors went off randomly throughout the day. Someone came by the next day found nothing wrong on the third day they were sending someone else out but at 7 am. Needless to say we left early and found somewhere else to stay. If you are going to manage a property you need to know what the property is like and offer solutions.
Can't say enough about the wonderful sounds: creek + cicadas/crickets together are like a symphony to my ears. The kitchen is very well equipped. You're a bit far from Charlotte, but it's extremely peaceful. Be prepared for 2m drive on a gravel road, uphill.
This place could not have been better! It was super clean and in a great area. The absolute best was the stream/waterfall in the back yard 😊along with the outdoor tubs! Casey thought of everything and I look forward to booking with her again!
The house was really perfect! They utilized every inch inside and out. A place for kids to play in the creek just feet away from where you're relaxing. The sound of the creek at all times!
Wonderful location with ambient creek noise, lush green forest and mountain views. The house is updated, comfortable and includes everything you need for a family stay in Asheville area (everything within 30 min drive of the location). When we come back for another visit, this is our destination.
The ambience from the moment you pull up was spot on! The landscape and outdoor lighting was beautiful. The sound of the waterfall was peaceful and kitchen is well appointed.
I have to admit that I contemplated giving a stellar review because we don't want the house to become book solid every year! This house and the creek are a true gem! The house is well stocked, clean and perfect for a mountain getaway. The creek right outside of the house is just icing on the cake! Come prepared to relax, unplug and enjoy nature.
Our family had a great time here. The property was perfect—very clean, well organized, well stocked kitchen. We loved the location—close enough to Asheville to enjoy each day but remote enough to feel close to nature. The creek was a stunning backdrop and we loved eating outside near the water. Really a lovely week!
I stayed here the week of my wedding with my fiancé and his brother & SIL. Very comfortable living arrangements. Modern interior. The creek off the master bedroom was peaceful and beautiful. The house is definitely remote, with no cell service and inconsistent wifi, but we knew this going in so it was no big deal. Coffee bar was well-stocked. 10-15 minute drive to downtown Weaverville. Hoping to stay here again when we visit Weaverville for our anniversaries in the future!

About the host
Hosted by Casey Kasten
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but fell in love with Asheville after our first visit. We have lived in the area for over 10 years now and couldn't imagine being where, but here. I love hiking, kayaking and spending time with my husband, our 3 children and our sweet pup, Rodgers. We love having the opportunity to share our home with visitors. This house is so special and we love that other can have the opportunity to enjoy it.
What makes this property unique
