Cocoonr is offering a small, cosy retreat for rent in Saint-Malo, with a warm and exotic atmosphere, situated in one of the oldest buildings in the Intra-Muros old town. Situated on the 3rd floor (no lift), it has a floor area of 32 m² and can accommodate up to 4 guests.

It comprises a sitting area, a fully fitted kitchen, a bedroom and a shower room. 4* hotel-quality linen is provided, and the beds will be made up for your arrival.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:
- A sitting area with a sofa bed and TV
- A fully equipped kitchen including: dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, etc.
- A bedroom with a double bed (140x190)
- A bathroom with a shower and toilet

The flat is ideally situated in Saint-Malo, in a very pleasant neighbourhood. You’ll be within easy reach of all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market…

You’ll be immediately charmed by the location, character and charm of the place.

Neighbourhood and things to do:
- Bon Secours Beach, Porte St-Pierre, with its seawater swimming pool and sailing club on the beach; at low tide, you can walk to the Île du Grand Bé, where Chateaubriand’s tomb is located.
- All local shops are within easy walking distance of the flat.
- The City Museum, housed in one of the city’s keep towers, offering a panoramic view of Saint-Malo
- The Cathedral and the ramparts walk; guided tours are available by contacting the tourist office at Porte St-Vincent, just outside the ramparts, or by taking the little train for a guided historical tour of the town.
- Rue de l’Orme, also known as the ‘gourmet street’, where you’ll discover some excellent local produce: Butter and cheese from Bordier, Saint-Malo babas, seasonal fruit and vegetables at Les 4 Saisons, fresh fish at the Guinemer fishmonger’s, as well as numerous restaurants, such as the Breizh Café, Le Cambusier, or L’Absinthe further down the street. There are two mini-markets on Rue St-Vincent and Rue de Dinan.
- On Place Chateaubriand, you can enjoy excellent seafood at the Café de l’Ouest, the best burgers at the Lion d’Or, enjoy Sunday brunch at the Maison Générale for a treat for both the taste buds and the eyes (please note: booking recommended), and discover the charming restaurant Le Cargo Culte with its friendly atmosphere, serving home-cooked dishes, tarts, salads, open sandwiches and soups, all set against a vintage décor.
- In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St-Patrick’s, a bistro vibe at Java with its swings, or – for beer lovers – L’Aviso, which will win you over with its 500 beers! For cocktail lovers, head to La Fabrique, and if you prefer a nautical and sailing atmosphere, down by the harbour along the Bassin Vauban, you can raise a glass at La Trinquette!

If you choose to come by car, there is a charge for on-street parking.
- St Malo Intra Muros is served by bus routes 2, 3 and 9.
- Saint Malo railway station: 2 km, 30 metres’ walk.
- Rennes Airport: 70 km to Rennes St Jacques
- Ferry terminal: 5 minutes’ walk. Portsmouth, Jersey and Guernsey

To access your accommodation, you’ll have a choice of two options:

- either self-check-in: by collecting the keys from a Keycafé box located 450 metres from the station, a 30-minute walk from the property or a 5-minute drive away; the nearest bus stop to the Keycafé is ‘Sécurité Sociale’, on lines 1 and 8.

- or a in-person handover: in this case, you will be met on site by the Cocoonr team, who will show you round the flat and hand over the keys.

- The fireplace cannot be used. It is for decorative purposes only.
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation.
- Access to the third floor is via a rather narrow and steep period staircase.
- Low water pressure in the shower.
