The area good and convenient to get to most places. We took the kids to the Zoo and the Arch and both were only 10 minute drives. The size was great for our family of 4. The only problem was the up stairs neighbors were pretty loud at night, but it is duplex/apartment. The host were easy to get a hold of and responded quickly.
Parking was easy. Very convenient location. Owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Beds were comfortable. The place is old and could use an update. If you are looking for new and fancy, this would not be the place for you. The price was reasonable and it worked perfectly for us. We were happy with it.
Loved staying here! It was very clean, well-located, and the perfect place to relax after exploring the area.

Great location, close to downtown and plenty of street parking. 2nd bedroom is pretty small but I only needed 1 bedroom for my stay. Host is very responsive, which was appreciated.
The place was nice and clean. Good place to vacation at.

The unit was surface clean but could use a deep cleaning. The sponge left on the kitchen sink was old, ripped and moldy - definitely did not want to use that. Lots of cob webs and stains on walls. The furniture is not what is pictured in listing. The street noise is very loud and had trouble sleeping because of it. The unit is in a great location and neighborhood felt safe. Would have preferred a more secure door being that it’s on the corner but that’s just me. We had no problems.
Very pleased with the whole stay. Excellent location close to Lafayette Park and all the downtown activities we did with the kids. Manager was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
This was a great location to Aquarium, Zoo, City Museum and The Arch for the right price. The host was nice and helpful! We had a great time and will be back soon!
We were very satisfied with our stay. Apartment was neat, clean and had we needed. Host was very responsive and kind. Felt very safe in neighborhood. Would stay again.
We had a fantastic time in St. Louis! The location of our VRBO was perfect for all of the things we wanted to do. Close to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay.
To start, the location of this place was perfect!!! We were close to the aquarium, the zoo,a beautiful park, the arch,Busch stadium, and so much more! The property itself was very clean as shown in the pictures, and spacious in a beautiful and safe neighborhood! We enjoyed seeing all the buildings and mansions that showed so much beauty and history!!! The host was extremely nice and very quick to respond anytime I messaged him! Overall our stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend for anyone to stay here, couples or families either one!
It was good overall besides noise around us and not much of an area to take dogs out to use the bathroom but other than that it was nice

Not as expected
Unfortunately, I would have to say that this place was below our standards that we couldn’t even stay the night and ended up going to a hotel. Upon entering, there was a terrible odor that was musty and mildewy. The floors felt sticky, there was not enough lighting, the furniture was not as pictured and outdated and the bed was creaky.
I’ve never had a host who responded more promptly than Robert. 👍👍 This was great considering we had an issue that required a speedy response. The unit is in the lovely, quiet Lafayette Park area with plenty of free parking. As other reviews stated you can hear the people upstairs but for us this was not disruptive. The place was kind of bare bones with regard to essentials: no bath mat, no dish rack or clean sponge, and a broom that looks like it’s been through the wringer. TV had no access to Netflix or Prime and picture didn’t fill the screen. Nice TV but it was hard to get it to work properly. Overall very comfortable furniture and beds and spotlessly clean.
This place was horrible. I took photos of nearly all of the issues listed below and will post them if VRBO will allow it.Here is what my family experienced:Weird unidentified smell when we enteredNearly all walls were stained and looked possibly water damagedFloor was warped and missing thresholds that revealed the under floor, it literally flexed under your foot as you walkedBathroom sink had hair, seemingly from someone shaving, in itBathroom faucet had toothpaste stains and had clearly not been cleanedBathtub had mold in the caulking around itCobwebs at the ceiling throughout the houseDamaged walls and baseboards throughout the houseCloset had a door that was falling apartAfter all of this, we turned down the covers on one bed and noticed stains on the sheets. At that point, I texted the "host" and said we were not spending the night and requested a refund. He texted me the following day at 11:15 asking me to cancel with VRBO by 12 and he would refund the entire amount. Unfortunately, I was on vacation with my family and didn't see the message until around 3-4pm. I then called and cancelled. He refused to offer any refund.I have had great experiences with VRBOs. This was truly horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone...Ever.
