About this property

Historic, quiet 2 Bdrm/office space Full Condo

Condo has 850+ sq. feet of living space, two bedrooms and one bathroom. The building also has street parking (garage available for long stays 5+ nights or extra fee for short stays). The condo also has ceramic tile in kitchen and bathroom, carpeted bedrooms and the original hardwood floors in living room and hallway. There is a new refrigerator, HVAC system, dishwasher, stove, over-the-range microwave and hot water tank all less than 1.5 years old. Comes with high-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs.

The space
The condo is on the second floor. When you enter the condo, you will immediately go up stairs accessing the full condo. All living space, bedrooms, bathrooms, are included. There are plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels for guests. The condo also has an Instapot and Keurig with fully stocked coffee, tea and cider.

With a second floor condo …heat rises! The living room may be a little warm on the record hot days, but feel free to crank the A/c up and if necessary, use a fan (provided). The HVAC system is brand new (installed June 2023), so it can handle it!

Upon arriving, there will be a full guide to the entire condo printed out to orient guest to where everything is in the rooms (i.e., remotes, extra blankets, cleaning supplies, etc.)

I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:
- I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
- I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
- I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
- I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
- I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

Guest access
The full condo is available only to the guest and is not shared space. However, patio and deck in the back is communal space where all residents of the building have access.

Other things to note
This condo is normally short-term leased to travel nurses. All accommodations are based on making you feel like this is a second home.

The owner often updates the guide books for things to do so check it out.

Checkout times are normally before 10am, but feel free to ask about flexibility if there is not another check-in on the same day.

All check-in codes are changed after every stay to ensure safety of all guest. If you would like to request a special 4 digit code, please request at the time of booking.

Also, if you are checking in with pets, please note which kind so that we can make sure they have a comfortable stay as well (including treats)!

Hidden gem
This was such a cute place to stay! The kitchen was gorgeous, everything was super clean, the bedrooms and living room were also very cute! We plan to try to stay here again if available for all our future trips to St.Louis. Everything we wanted was within a 10 minute drive. I highly recommend staying here!

Why they chose this property

One of the best parts about living in Saint Louis is that you can get to everything. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, or a place to party, it's all right there in the city. No matter what you're looking for, this condo is perfectly place. It's close to Lafayette Square, Benton Park, Soulard, and Fox Park, and Ballpark Village, so you can walk or bike anywhere in the city...just steps from some of the best restaurants and cocktail bars in the area. It's also close to Forest Park the second largest urban park in the country!
