Excellent base for exploring Lisbon

An excellent, spacious apartment that was a short drive to Sintra or into central Lisbon. We usually took the longer, but very scenic, train that ran along the coast. Excellently equipped if you want to stay in and cook, and loads of good food options locally too. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful condo with great view

Beautiful condo with great view 10 minutes from Cascais beach. We had all the conveniences we needed and Ricardo was an amazing host. He met us upon arrival and was available whenever we needed him. He gave us some great restaurant and beach recommendations. He even went above and beyond when we said the hair dryer didn't heat up that well he immediately bought us a fantastic new hair dryer. In short he did everything possible to insure that we had a wonderful stay!

Ricky's place

Ricky's flat was first class. So big and modern with everything you could need (except a kettle - I found that a bit odd but we made do with a pot lol). The view from the balcony was fab. The bus stop to Cascais was only 5 mins around the corner and it was only €1 and you could get on and off the bus as much as you like in a day. Cascais was only 20 mins away and there are lots of buses that would take you there. There was a small supermarket right across the road for any essentials like milk or water. Ricky himself was great to deal with and he kept in touch. He even recommended a couple of restaurants we could try. I would suggest exploring the streets of Alcabideche, there is lots more too it than what is around the flat. 😊

Tout s’est très bien passé. L’appartement est lumineux, spacieux. Tout y est ! Ricardo est un propriétaire cool et charmant. À proximité de l’autoroute pour Cascais, Sintra, Setubal… Pour Lisbonne, prenez le train à Cascais, ce sera plus facile et vous arrivez au centre !

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und vor allem groß. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch. Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge. Der Ort Cascais ist sehr schön und schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Nur den Balkon konnten wir nicht nutzen, das es doch recht laut war wegen der Straße vor dem Haus. Aber das war aufgrund der anderen Vorteile nicht so schlimm. Die Kommunikation mit Ricardo war immer schnell und es gab klare Anweisungen. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen.

Wir würden wieder kommen!

Die Wohnung ist in einem tollen und sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Balkone haben einen tollen Ausblick, die angrenzende strasse hört man zwar, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die nachbarn bzw das ganze Gebäude ist sehr ruhig, worauf auch Ricardo viel Wert legt. Der Check-In war flexibel und völligst Problemlos. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Big, beautiful apartment, well equipped kitchen.

Beautiful apartment. Well equipped kitchen, olive oil, vinegar s&p, spices, cleaning supplies. A map of the area showing the restaurants, bus stop & which ones to take would be helpful. It faces a very busy road so some traffic noise. Very safe neighbourhood. Only 15-20 minute bus ride to Cascais. Very happy with our stay.
