About this property

South Haven Beach Getaway

This is a 4 bedroom 2 bath home with a full kitchen and both formal and informal dining areas. The home is directly across Monroe Blvd. from Lake Michigan with stair access to same less than 50 feet away. It is also adjacent to Kid's Corner, South Haven's park for children complete with a baseball diamond and climbing area for kids.
The lower outdoor patio features a large table, separate seating areas and an outdoor grill perfect for summer barbecues.
There is an outdoor shower for washing off the sand after a day at the beach and a washer and dryer for clean up.
At sunset you can sit in the living room or out on the deck and people watch as others stroll by toward the sunset that you get to view from where you are. During the day you can relax and sit on the patio sun bathing, or, stroll to town or the beach without needing your car.
We can't think of a more perfect location/house to be in during the summer. Lake Michigan and South Haven here we come!!

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend

The location is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable, and a perfect size for our family. We had great beach access, and having the park right next door is definitely a plus. We would absolutely return and would love to have this home as a yearly destination for Labor Day weekend.

As everyone else said- the location is exceptional! House is a little dated but very clean and comfortable- it felt like we were borrowing a friend’s vacation home. One of the best rental experiences we’ve had. We hope to return next year!

Best location possible for young kid beach vacation.

Property is a little dated but my lord the LOCATION. Cannot be beat for a family with little kids - immediate access to a very large playground and right across the street from the lake. We went in the high season and the local lake access was never overly busy - good place and you will not do better for proximity.

Great stay for a family

The property was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay! The upstairs twin/crib was a great space for our infant. The patio was a favorite for meals and enjoying the picturesque sunsets. Communication with the host was prompt and so helpful! There were about 64 stairs to the beach which made hauling our beach apparatus a little challenging but well worth it since the beach was beautiful! Would highly recommend!

Beach Getaway

This is the BEST location, right across the street from Lake Michigan. Beautiful porch to sit on, very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, ample parking, even beach chairs and floats! Also, directly across the street from a kid's park/playground. Walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. 2nd time here and we will come back for sure!

Location cannot be beat! Charming, clean and roomy house with nostalgic vibes. Steps from the lake, the beach and Kids Korner. Prepare yourself for the most amazing sunsets from the back patio. The town is also a short stroll or bike ride away. We will be back!

Spectacular locations!

This spot is by far the best location we’ve experienced in our years of visiting South Haven. We spent a majority of our time on the newly renovated porch, and the sunsets from there were second to none. The park and baseball field across the street gave our kids a place to play, as well as the large yard on the property. The house fit our family nicely, and met every one of our needs. Property manager was reachable for any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful time. Hoping to be back again!

Perfect location; but older property

Best location we’ve ever stayed at in South Haven. Fantastic outdoor patio with lake view. Wonderful playground and recreation area across the street. A two minute walk to stairs that lead down to the beach. Three minute drive to restaurants and shops downtown. That said, the age of the house presents a number of areas where are you have to “settle” for things like interior doors that don’t latch; outlets on two walls of the master bedroom that don’t work; lamps in other rooms that do not work; no hot water in kitchen; limited hot water in master bathroom; curtains on large picture windows that don’t fully close. But overall we would stay there again. The location is simply too good.

Great location!

We did a long weekend with my four year old. This location was perfect! We loved walking across the street to the Children's Corner playground and also to the public beach. We had dinners on the back deck overlooking the lake. A great location!

South Haven Gem

The house, view and location were fantastic. Walking distance to Beach, pier, downtown South Haven. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is dated but very well maintained and very clean and plenty of room for the 8 of us. We also enjoyed the beach chairs and bikes that were available to use, and the management person was great to work with as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this place again.
