Welcome to the charming little cottage called Harper Valley Cottage.

This lovely abode sits in a serene and peaceful neighborhood just a stone's throw away from downtown Nashville. A spacious porch greets you as you approach the cottage, a perfect spot to relax and breathe in the fresh air.

The backyard introduces a lush oasis ideal for playing horseshoes or cornhole with your family and friends. As you step inside, you are immediately struck by the cozy atmosphere and the comfortable memory foam mattresses that promise a restful night's sleep after a day spent exploring the captivating Brown County.
NOTE: Harper Valley is a 3 bedroom home. Guest will have access to the two bedrooms for guest counts 1-4. The full beds can be unlocked for an addition fee of $30 per person per night.

Hard Truth Hills lies just a few minutes away for adventurous souls. But if you prefer a more laid-back experience, the cottage offers an all-new outdoor drone tour that showcases its picturesque surroundings for your viewing pleasure. PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

All fireplaces are seasonal and available from October 1 to April 1.

Perfect getaway weekend.

Harper Valley Cottage is so comfortable and inviting. Everything we needed and more was provided.. Cottage is within walking distance to shops and restaurants.. No complaints and will definitely come back.

Everything was better than expected. They truly thought of everything. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to downtown in about 10mins and Hard Truth is just a 2 min drive. Would stay again!

Girls’ trip success!

It’s hard to please a group of 6-7 women, but this cottage pleased us all! It was clean, decorated so cute, and cozy for all of us. The only downside was a semi-hidden fee for extra guests that we all felt was a little extreme. Overall though, this stay was pleasurable and we would all definitely return in the future!

Quick get away

My husband and I like to take a quick trip to Nashville Indiana each summer to to shut down. This property was perfectly located. We were able to walk everywhere and only had to drive when we went someplace outside of downtown. It was clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed both the hot tub, firepit and how comfortable it is. We will definitely see if this place is available every time we go to Nashville.

Annual girls trip

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was very clean and had all the amenities we could possibly need. We appreciate how much thought went into that. The home is spacious and decorated nicely. We loved the porch and the hot tub. There are even curtains to pull for privacy while in the hot tub. We were close to all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much!! We just booked next years trip at one of their houses! Highly recommend!!

This was the 2nd time we booked Harper Valley for a winter getaway. The cottage was a wonderful home away from home. Everything you needed was supplied and more. The location is walking distance from town and a short drive to Brown County State Park. We had our grandkids with us. They enjoyed playing the games provided and the gas fireplace. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay in Brown County

The cottage was just as described. Immaculate interior with every single supply you could think of, and then some!! Communication with host was easy and timely! Location is super convenient to down town Brown County and the state park. My ONLY issue is that you could hear the road noise when you were in the yard or the hot tub. Definitely not a major issue, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet..you may be a little disappointed. The convenience of the cottage location outweighed this minor concern. The hot tub was great and my kids loved it. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would stay here again!

Fantastic rental with all the comforts of home!!

This rental is by far one of the most well stocked and “homey” rentals i have ever stayed at. And we have rented quite a few houses over the years. They had fun games, plenty of towels and blankets, the hot tub was great and the privacy curtains made it even better! The beds were super comfortable. Location was fantastic to walk to downtown. No sidewalk for a little stretch but not very far. Roku tv in every bedroom and living room. Kitchen area had everything we needed and then some. Decorating and extras made this place feel like a home away from home. Our ONLY complaint is that there is only one bathroom but it was doable. Overall we had a very enjoyable time and would rent again! Thank u for a great space for our girl group!

A short getaway

More house than necessary for just the 2 of us, but it worked out great. A very comfortable space and cleanliness standard was outstanding. We took advantage of the fine quality hot tub one evening. The home had everything we needed, including excellent A/C. Convenient to all of the Nashville shops and restaurants.

Well Stocked & Great Location

The house was stocked well with things that saved us space in the car by not having to pack them or buy them ourselves. It was a clean house that felt like a home. The location is ideal, being near a number of attractions.We thought there would be a fold out bed in the living room based on the listing details but that wasn't the case. The walk into Nashville is short and convenient but the first several yards that crosses a bridge is narrow without a sidewalk and a bit dicey with traffic.

Girls Trip

This property was exactly what we needed for our girls trip! It was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a bad storm while we were there and we lost power for about 14 hours but we still made the best of it! Town is a very short drive away or could be walkable on a nice day! Would stay here again!

Perfect stay for our weekend get away

We stayed for my brother in laws 40th birthday.. cottage was perfect for the 6 of us! Super quaint and clean cottage and they thought of everything! Candles, cards, the fireplace was amazing and we really enjoyed the hot tub! We wish the tv would have worked out there to watch the bengals game though! We plan to come and stay again!
