Circa 1885 is a beautifully renovated, historic, open-floorplan home in downtown Santa Fe only a few blocks from the City Plaza, Canyon Road, Railyard District, museums, concert halls and the NM State Capitol Building. The home is spacious with 11'-12' high ceilings that welcome in the beautiful Santa Fe light, a modern full kitchen with dishwasher and gas range, a kiva instant on gas fireplace for cozy evenings and a private portal (porch) for sunny afternoons. The massive center adobe wall that divides the living space from the bedroom and bath was lovingly saved, reinforced and plastered as a sculptural homage to the home's legacy. Furnishings include a 19th Century Austrian Walnut wardrobe, luxurious solid wood four poster queen bed, an antique marble-topped vanity retrofitted with a vessel sink, Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams love seat and original lithographs from the 2019 Student Portfolio of UNM's prestigious Tamarind Institute. Immerse yourself in Santa Fe's rich heritage by making "Circa 1885" your home-base in Santa Fe.

Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees.

Perfect spot for an extended stayI stayed here solo for a week while taking a class and it was the ideal setup. The location is unbeatable — walkable to the Plaza, Railyard District, and Canyon Road. The home is full of character with all the comforts you need for a longer stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace to unwind in the evenings after a long day. After a an hour drive from the airport when we arrived at our Vrbo, there was a cute welcome book with wine, crackers, and cheese welcoming us. This place was exactly what we wanted. The host was very communicative and the location was close to coffee shops, a bakery, and restaraunts.

Location is great and home is lovely and clean. Upon arrival there was wine, cheese, crackers and beer. Very nice touch for those traveling. Rental provides shampoo, conditioner and soap. Kitchen has coffee, milk, tea, spices, and oil. Nice to not have to buy these things if you are only staying a few days. Will return on our next visit to Santa Fe.
