Custom Home - Amazing Views/Huge Deck - 3 miles to downtown - AC/Hot Tub

Our 2,500 square foot residence was built in 2018 and features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is located just 3 miles from downtown Durango and 27 miles (30 minutes) from Purgatory Ski Resort.

This home is in one of the nicest residential settings in the Durango area and features amazing views to the north over the Animas Valley - yet is just minutes from downtown Durango. At an elevation of 7,000 feet, enjoy an alpine setting with exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience.

The house features central AC and high end finishes you would expect in a brand new custom home while the generously equipped gourmet kitchen features gas stove, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Please note that the 4th bedroom is located over the garage and is access via a separate entrance. AC was added to this bedroom in October 2023.

One parking spot is available in the garage (owner keep their car in the other space). There is also room to park two more cars in the driveway.

4th - Queen and single Blow up mattress with pump - (Located over the garage via a separate entrance).

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Fabulous vacation spot!

This home was fabulous! It was very clean very spacious, had beautiful views, well supplied kitchen, very close to town and yet private. The ease of checking in was great and all the instructions were very plain and understandable. Would absolutely stay here again if we happen to be in the Durango area. Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation spot.

Incredible Viewse

This is an incredible home and by far one of the nicest vacation rental experiences I have had. The property is pristine with plenty of entertaining space and it is ideal having an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom. We also valued the deck area and taking in the gorgeous views. I would stay here again without a doubt in the future. Also the property management team was helpful and very attentive.

All it's cracked up to be

An EXCELLENT, GORGEOUS place to stay. Basically 10 minutes from everything. Very responsive management company. We were initially worried that the 4th BR would be too hot because it was uncomfortable when we first arrived (temps were hitting ~90F). But once it cooled down at night, it stayed a comfortable temperature if you didn't open the windows during the day.

The House, The View, The perfect place

Easy to find but still secluded we were on top of the area. Parking for our two cars was ample but May not be for more vehicles. The house provided great space for all and we had several memorable meals made in the beautiful kitchen which was spacious enough for several cooks. It was great to have nice grill to use and all appliances were clean and in good working order. Our only challenge was working the main tv but with so much to see and do in the area it was not important. The entry instructions were detailed and clear and the management company responded quickly to the one question we expressed. We intend to bring other friends who visit Colorado there in the future.

It was the the most spotless vacation house I’ve ever rented and only a few miles from town which was extremely convenient. Kitchen was great with so many supplies that were in excellent shape. Beds were very comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom. I was concerned that the bedroom over the garage was not air conditioned but it did work out because the nights were cool enough that it was comfortable for sleeping. And the view of the mountains from the living area and porch was unbelievable! Also the management company was very responsive and helpful. We tried many of the local restaurants- especially enjoyed Michel’s Corner Crepes and James Ranch. Good fishing nearby - also rode the Durango to Silverton Railroad which was awesome. Also rode bikes on the river trail and went to the hot springs nearby. I honestly can’t say one negative thing and would definitely rent again if ever back in the area! Thanks!

Beautiful house with a thoughtful floor plan, in a great area. It was super clean and extremely well stocked. The deck was a great gathering place with plenty of seating and amazing views. There wasn’t anything about the property that disappointed us. I must also mention that the management company was a pleasure to work with. They were always quick to respond to any questions from the moment I booked to checkout. This was by far a favorite rental for our family.

This home in Durango was perfect for our stay for our daughter‘s 35th birthday with some of her friends. The check in/code entry was very easy. The kitchen was very well stocked with implements and some herbs, etc.. The deck facing the mountains was lovely to sit on, and the hot tub great too Soak tired muscles after ATVing, horseback riding, etc.. All the bedrooms and beds were comfortable, the bathrooms, clean, and lovely.

Bear Vacation

Great location, lovely home great property manager. Watched the wildlife department catch a mama bear and her three cubs and relocate to a more isolated area. That was a highlight! Would definitely go back to that house and would want to deal with that property manager!

Excellent location for all there is to do in and around Durango. During our short stay, we visited the Aztec Ruins, did the fabulous drive to Silverton and then to Ouray; spent a whirlwind day catching a photo op at Four Corners and then sprinting to Mesa Verde; one excellent day was spent shopping and eating downtown.We also built in plenty of time to simply laze around; this is a great place to relax and unwind - the sunset views from the deck are the best. Spacious, well-appointed, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated yet delightfully cozy. You can't go wrong with 29 Timberline for your next CO vacation- summer or winter!
