About this property

Benaiah's Bunkhouse - Log Cabin

Enjoy stunning views of the West Elk Mountains in the heart of Paonia's Wine Country. Experience the romance of a log cabin, on a king size bed. Adirondack chairs on the porch provide a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the scenery as you sip your favorite wine from nearby wineries. See millions of stars as you bask in the warmth of the fire pit.
Experience life on a working farm in the middle of Paonia wine country. Six vineyards are located within a mile. And downtown Paonia is only a mile away.
Kebler Pass, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Grand Mesa and Colorado National Monument are but a few of the incredible places to visit during your stay. Fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, wine tasting, live music, sight-seeing, rafting, rodeos, are but a few of the activities you may find in our valley.
Guests needing their internet fix can find wireless internet available on the porch of the main lodge. And all are invited to sit and relax on the lodge porch, sip your wine, share stories with other guests, or just soak in the view.
A repurposed grain bin bath house is located a few feet from the cabin and is equipped with two full-service bathrooms, including showers.

Hidden Gem
This property is amazing and the pictures don’t do it enough justice. The views are incredible and the log cabin was so cozy. The bathrooms are nice with hot water! Tim was a great host and we loved sharing his property.

Wonderful location, great host and beautiful, comfortable cabin
The host is very friendly and accommodating. The cabin and furniture are beautiful and extremely comfortable. We would definitely return as the host is planning to provide additional amenities. As noted in the description of the property, bathrooms/showers are a short walk from the cabin. Be aware that the farm has approximately six other cabins/wall tents and the "lodge" and some of the amenities attributed to this specific cabin could be misleading. For example, there is no TV, kitchenette or bay window in the cabin - we didn't visit the lodge so we assume the listed items are present there. So, you can't prepare any meals or watch TV in the cabin (who wants to watch TV when you're visiting a stunning part of Colorado?).
