Paonia Victorian Farmhouse - Country Setting, Walk to Town.

Beautiful rambling early-1900s fully restored farmhouse in pastoral country setting on a few acres. One of the original homesteads in Paonia. Quintessential rural seclusion with an easy walk to town. Big trees and yard, sweet front porch, pocket doors, wood floors, nice-sized air-conditioned bedrooms and lots of fresh air and sunshine. 1 block away from the river and Paonia library, 3 blocks from center of town.

Maximum of 4 guests.

We do consider pets. Please inquire during booking. If accepted, our pet fee is $40/pet.

Every time we stay here there’s some new small touch that makes it even better than the last. Hands down our favorite family getaway - the property is beautiful & comfortable, close to town but very peaceful, and Christina and Barry are the perfect hosts!

Great place

We had a great time in a great house with great owners. The house is well stocked with everything thing might need in the kitchen. We loved having the deer right out the kitchen window eating the apples off the tree. I would definitely book here again!

Paonia getaway

Beautiful home, great location and wonderful outdoor area to enjoy the perfect fall weather. The home had a nice big table to play games in the evening and I liked that the TV was upstairs and away from the living area. Christina and Barry were very nice and accommodating hosts! We would definitely go again.

Farmhouse charm

This farmhouse is in superb condition and so quaint. It has everything you need with all the modern conveniences. The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the many spaces for our family of 5 adults. We played scrabble outside and had a visit of a few deer that camped out under the pine tree. It’s a short walk into the heart of Paonia and Grand Ave with restaurants and shopping. We love Paonia!

Beautiful Farmhouse Stay

We come to Paonia every year to visit family. This home did not disappoint! The home was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. There were fresh flowers on the dining room table and music playing when we walked in. Barry & Christina are wonderful hosts. As a professional chef, I found the kitchen to be very well appointed and great to cook in. We had a large front yard to enjoy with our family and the deer that wandered through.

Simply Awesome!

Our Victorian Farmhouse has been our favorite VRBO property that we have ever stayed in! The Farmhouse is perfectly located on a quiet road in Paonia that is only minutes away from Wineries, Farmers Markets, and shops. Barry and Christina's attentive care made this a perfect week - from dropping by and introducing themselves to dropping us little text nuggets of what was going around the area throughout the week. Christina and Barry, and their beautify Paonia Farmhouse, provided the perfect week away!

Delightful Stay

We were in town for a family wedding and needed accommodation for three couples and a baby. The house was ideally located and ver comfortable and warm. My granddaughter loved the local wildlife and farm animals! Definitely recommend.

A Relaxing Retreat

This property was a delightfully furnished and decorated home which provided us with a relaxing retreat at the end of each long, active day. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs and there were several places we could sit and relax. The beds were comfortable and the bedding warm and cozy. As a whole, the house felt very homey and comfortable. The neighborhood and surroundings were both near to town and roomy enough to feel like it was in the country. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the pastures and lawns and reveled in the beautiful views of the mountains. We would not hesitate to book this property again.
