The cottage and its tree-lined forecourt with wooden terrace is 100m from the center of Chanac (bakery / press / bar-restaurant) 700m from the municipal swimming pool open in summer July / August (paid). 20 km from major cities: Mende (prefecture), Marvejols (The wolves of Gévaudan), La Canourgue (little Venice Lozérienne), Sainte Enimie (Medieval City and among the "most beautiful villages of France"). Throughout the summer, Chanac comes alive with its weekly markets (Thursday and Sunday) and its many festivities.

Immediate departure for hiking trails, superb hikes in the mountains or by the river…

A few kilometers away you can go to the Aubrac plateau to taste a good Aligot in a buron and meet Aubrac cows and bulls.
