A relaxing time on the lake

A wonderful place to stay! Clean, has everything you could need. The host was great, she came through for both things I needed her to. Very quiet! I slept like a baby…I have to thank everyone that made this stay possible!! Kayaking on the lake and having a fire was awesome!. This is the perfect get away!!

Perfect getaway!

Quiet, serene, cozy location for our winter getaway! Best sleep we’ve had in ages. Woke up early and sipped our coffee while watching the muskrats grazing in the water. Will definitely try to carve out time for a longer stay in the future!

Charming property with spectacular lake views

Although our visit was very short, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This charming retreat provided a delightful escape and was very close to the Woodstock Museum, which was the purpose for our visit. The house was charming and the lake views were spectacular. The owners were supportive and communicative as needed. It was the perfect place to relax and appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the property.

Long weekend getaway

We wanted a quiet long weekend getaway for just the girls and this was perfect. Lake views from both bedrooms and livingroom, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. House was fully stocked with everything you needed. We have already shared the listing with family and friends as a recommendation. We will definitely be back again !

Beautiful Cottage

This place is gorgeous! Everything we needed was available so we could just chill out and relax. The lake was a bit disappointing as there were a lot of lily pads in the inlet. Also many of the restaurants were not open in the early part of the week - so check the schedules. We would stay again

We were on Cloud 9 at the In The Cloud Lake House

The house was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room both inside and out to unplug and relax. We caught 24 fish (4 different species) right off the deck during our short stay. Thank you Sunetra for being a wonderful host and for the quick responses to any questions we had. We hope to be back soon!

We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail through them, but we could not utilize the full lake for this reason. The dock is very close to the house. Late afternoon shade made the deck perfect for eating dinner. If you go in the summer, you will have to empty the dehumidifier every other day. No big deal, just wanted to mention. There is also a ring camera on the front door that wasn't mentioned in the listing. Nonstick cookware could use an upgrade.I'm listing pros and cons for an honest review, but would absoutely recommed this place. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and clean

Overall, very nice place. Information listed on VRBO was not current (Wi-Fi and lockbox/entry) but cozy location. I would recommend visitors check the outside deck area before children or pets go outside. A fishing line and baited hook was left in the ground and could have caused serious injuries.

Quaint Lake House

We had a really great time! The owners provided us with a contact for yoga so we had a private session which was amazing! The property was clean and exactly like the pictures. There isn't much around so you should come prepared with food and drinks if you don't have a plan. There's coffee and teas stocked though. The only thing that wasn't great was we didn't have internet during our stay. The router needed to be replaced so we couldn't connect until we were about to check out. That may be good if you are looking to disconnect for a bit. There isn't good service out there so you need to connect to the wifi to use your phone. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone we met was really nice and the views were amazing.

This was a great location, and the lake was beautiful. We loved watching the beavers swim and play at sunset. The house was cozy and had all we needed for our weekend trip. It was also a quick trip to the the Bethel Performing Arts Center.

Lake Life

Our stay wasn’t long enough. First, we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we stepped foot into this quaint farmhouse country style home away from home. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. We saw loads of wildlife including an owl to greet us. This location was the perfect reset we needed. Cannot wait to go back!

Super cute cottage perfect for a weekend away from the city

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. If it had rained the entire time I would have been happy to stay inside and read by the living room window. We even had an issue with a door (our fault) and they were so helpful and responsive when we needed help. The water is less of a “lake” and more of a shallow pond but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The towns nearby have amazing food and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Cute and quiet getaway

Stayed here for three nights with an old friend and my big dog! We loved the deck and the kayaks and that several rooms had TVs. Also close to the cute town of Jeffersonville! The kitchen was beautiful but not a sharp knife to be found for cooking unfortunately. Lots of small applicants though! The property wasn’t totally clean when we arrived (clean dishwasher full, sticky kitchen table, and garbage outside overflowing), but the host texted back right away about the garbage issue. Beds were comfortable (downstairs is a trundle bed with ok mattresses) and the views were gorgeous! So glad you allow dogs too!!

The mountains and lakes takes away all our stress , we practice yoga and meditation with kids . We expect our guests to feel the same when they are staying in the lake house as we do .
