Welcome to your oasis on the Swiniging Bridge Reservoir! Only 90 minutes from NYC, but a world away. A complete glass wall facing the water allows guests to take in the views and sounds of a babbling brook that feeds into a motorboat lake. This brand new house sleeps 6 adults (or 4 adults and 3 children) and features a full kitchen, free WiFi, bedding, linens, and toiletries. A canoe and paddleboat are also available for your use!
This house has recently been completed and the outside area has just been seeded so there is limited use of the yard at this time. The dock and lake are accessible and waiting for your visit!
We respect your privacy but are always available to help you find great things to do in the area, recommend restaurants or address concerns.
Wonderful residential area with access to a 9-mile motorboat lake in Sullivan County, Swinging Bridge. The guest manual is in the house on the living room coffee table.

My family and I were looking for a secluded and quiet place to unwind for vacation. This place did not disappoint, the house had everything we could possibly need!
We spent our 4th of July week at the Cove and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views and site, near hiking and an indoor water park. They had everything we needed for ourselves and little ones ... to cook, play and relax. Spacious and cozy... if that even makes sense? Host was super responsive to my zillion questions.
The house is cozy and beautiful. And clean. We loved it. The sound of the stream was very relaxing and the views amazing. We needed a peaceful getaway and we found it here. Plus we had fun at ResortsCasino and food at Cellaio was excellent. Owner was a pleasure to deal with
We will be back in spring or summer.
My fiancée and I stayed for a long weekend with her parents. The home is brand new, well appointed and located at the end of a low traffic road. We really enjoyed lounging on the large deck, grilling and nature watching (bald eagle spotted). Great property for a couples’ vacation, especially if you are seeking a peaceful, super quiet location.
House was very clean and accommodating and communication with host was pleasant and attentive.
If you are a hotel person this is the next best thing. plenty of clean sheets, towels, blankets, toiletries.
House was on the smaller side but had everything you needed. View was really great.
Our long weekend stay at this house was wonderful. The house looks out to a stream and reservoir. With the floor to ceiling windows, the view is super serene in the middle of the winter. It is newly renovated so the house feels very comfortable. Our family of 6 with 2 young kids and 2 elderly loved it. We all loved the pac man arcade in the basement bedroom. Communication with Jacquie was good and she took care of an issue right away.

Best for Summer
Secluded isn't an accurate description. The neighbors garage or guest house is 60', from the back deck. Lake was 15' lower than normal, although no mention of that by host. Couldn't even get a boat in the water if you wanted to. Kind of takes the fun from a "Lake front cabin" 3 night min stay even though 2 nights were accepted originally off season.
lovely lake house. very quiet in secluded cove of the lake. clean, well stocked, AC worked well. water levels were low so that was a bummer so the lake access wasnt right out the door. but that has nothing to do with the home owner, but know the lake is a reservoir with varying water levels. still, house was super close to the marina and we were able to rent boats multiple days which was terrific. lower bedroom had a cot not a full twin as expected, but we made it work for our family of 5. was able to doordash food as well.

Why they chose this property
We call this home "The Cove" because its unique location gives you the best part of the lake. The house has a babbling brook to the right and the lake to the left. You can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the water falling over the rocks outside your window or you can take your boat out from our dock to the 9-mile lake.
