The property is in a relatively secluded area of lake Off of the living room there sits a breakfast nook overlooking the lake for your morning coffee. The deck is a perfect place to relax and watch the best active area on the lake. Property sits in between two of the best restaurants on the lake. Walking distance to both Property has a fire pit and private dock for additional fun. Basement features

Amazing stay!

Cozy cabin by the lake

We have taken many Easter vacations on VRBO--Many times the host has a lot to do with the success of the trip--Without doubt, Sandra was an absolute gem. She answered all my questions and concerns immediately. The Cabin is cozy and perfect for a getaway vacation!

Excellent view!!!

The home is off the beaten path which was a bit hard to find but not crowded. The view was spectacular! I wish the dock was in but out of owners control. Alot of things to do. Loved the pool table.

Lovely weekend on the lake

We stayed at Sandra's home in mid-May with 4 adults and a 19 month old toddler. The house was exactly as expected, rustic decor throughout and an incredible view! The only thing missing was the dock! I contacted Sandra via email since we had brought our own kayak and planned to rent a boat. Unfortunately it is seasonal, and due to COVID the marina was delayed re-installing the docks for the spring season, so my husband was pretty disappointed since he was looking forward to fishing off the dock. However, Sandra must have followed up again, because we ended up renting the boat for the day anyway and by the time we returned to the house, the dock was there! So it was a very pleasant surprise and we were able to enjoy it for the remainder of the trip. We did have to do some strategic furniture rearranging to help toddler-proof, specifically blocking off the spiral staircase and the stairs while we hung out on the deck. The weather was warm during the day, cool at night, but the temperature of the house remained comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit (BYO wood), and had fun using the pool table and roulette in the basement, which is also great to have if you get some rain like we did. We cooked while we were there and found pretty much everything we needed. Overall, this rental was perfect for us, and we would definitely stay again. Thanks for hosting us!

we stayed for a long Columbus Day weekend from Friday through Monday. Weather actually held out pretty nicely. Unfortunately, all of the boat rental places were already closed for the season so we weren’t able to do any pontoon rental. The dock also was already pulled out for the season, but that was OK cause we did the fishing right from the lake’s edge. The PROPERTY is as pictured. Our host Sandra was very helpful and available within minutes to answer any questions. The vibe of the house is truly a rustic Lakeside cabin.The house was clean, but there was a lot of clutter in drawers and cabinets. (would suggest removing the brooms and such from the front walkway to a more out of sight area) the outside deck and lower porch light didn’t appear to be working. It was hard to tell because also many light switches in the house are not marked which light that they turn on. One suggestion would be to clearly mark the light switches to which lights they do work for.That would help guests a great deal.The downstairs rec room is definitely a plus for family fun with the pool table, etc. Of note, the bathroom shower door, however, seem to stick and we didn’t want to force it. There is definitely a lot of moisture as one would expect down in the basement so understandably things like that do become an issue overtime.we enjoyed the fire pit two nights in a row.would be great to go back in the summertime for fun on the water. Family, friendly for sure.(must be able to manage steps.)

The property was very dirty, many of the lights in the house and outside did not work. The stairs down to the dock were hazardous and none of the lights worked. Beds were uncomfortable. The place was full of clutter and broken games.

The house was beautiful and a little romantic, exactly what you want in a lakefront cabin in the woods. Location could not be better. Swimming right off the dock (we were there just after Labor Day), watching herons fish at dawn, sipping wine on the deck while the sunset… so relaxing & blissful. 100% recommend!

The sunsets are just amazing and the lake access was perfect. The game room was used every night and was so much fun. It was a perfect week ! Thank you to Sandi for quick response on a few questions I had. Would recommend this house and will be staying here again in the future .

Great Place . Weather was outstanding all week. Sandy was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She was always available no matter what . House was great for 4 adult’s and 2 children. A View You Can't Beat

Our five days at this property was the perfect get away with a view you can't beat. The home is nestled into a small community which was nice for a morning or evening strolls. It was also super convenient to be within walking distance of The Boat House. Sandra was super responsive and accommodating making our stay feel even that much more welcoming. If its your first time at Lake Wallenpaupack, you'll enjoy the fact you are a short drive from several restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome vacation.

My friends and I had a great time here! The house was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. The pictures don’t do it justice. Checking in and out was a breeze. I’d highly recommend staying here for a nice relaxing trip.

Perfect family getaway

1) Sandra was a terrific host - she was super responsive with all questions and flexible with check-in. 2) The house was perfect setup for our family of 5 and had a great updated cabin vibe. We had so much fun with the rec room with a pool table and blackjack/roulette/craps table. The deck had a great view and nothing beats being on the water. Only downside was no washer/dryer (but my fault I didn’t notice that in the listing). 3) great location near restaurants and town.and places to rent a boat. Would definitely Stay again.

Lake House

The property is in a great location right on the lake. Close to good restaurants, rental locations, rail trail ride, etc. Sandra is a wonderful host. Quick to answer any questions that we had. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate our last night there, and we lost power. That was out of the control of Sandra, but she was quick to assess the problem and also provide an update. All in all, we had a great stay!

Cute place on the lake

Vrbo The house was on the lake and had the perfect view of the sunset. Unfortunately, we were only able to see one the first night we arrived, because it rained the entire weekend we were there. That forced us to have to spend more time indoors than we had anticipated, and felt it wasn’t as clean as we’d expected. We found an empty beer can on a windowsill downstairs. The Bluetooth speaker wasn’t there or wasn’t accessible and the Roku pin was needed to add channels, and it was unavailable. Again, it was annoying mainly because we were forced to stay indoors all weekend. There was a wood fire pit and lots of things to do outdoors if the weather had cooperated. There was a small gas fire pit outside, but it didn’t work. That would have been nice to sit outside under the covered porch. Ultimately, it was a very spacious open villa and we were thankful for the basement entertainment area. The view is absolutely picturesque! We had a great girls weekend!

Birthday weekend

Despite the weather, the stay was a great weekend and wish I could’ve stayed longer. The property was in a great location and had wonderful views of the lake. I stayed in several VRBO rentals in the past and decor and furniture was top notch (didn’t feel dumpy or dated at all). I would love to stay there again in the future
