Exceptional site in nature - Natural Park of the Quercy, Lot

This former farmhouse overlooks the Célé Valley, 17 km from Figeac in the Lot (46). Typical house of the Quercy, for 4/6 people, with a living room of 35 m ², with traditional chimney "cantou", a dining room of 35 m ² with an equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Pool 11.5 x 6 m (shared), terrace shaded by vines, 35 hectares of woods, meadows and courses of "causse" in free access for walks and discoveries.
Characteristic rural dwellings of the Quercy, the houses are part of a hamlet of 5 typical houses, located in elevation above the valley of Cele - the "Val Paradis". The environment is 100% natural : restful silence, limited only by the chirping of birds in the spring and the cicadas in summer, great view on the cut of the Célé valley; only the line of Figeac lights at night on the horizon reminds us of the world of human beings.
In the surroundings, the Quercy offers many tourist sites (including Rocamadour and the 'Grotte du Pech-Merle'), hiking and cycling circuits, and one of the Routes of Compostela passes nearby (it is the GR 651, which follows the Célé Valley).

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances en famille dans cette vieille maison des Causses. La maison est très bien equipée, et la grande piscine permet des moments de détente appréciés! Nos hôtes très discrets pendant le séjour ont été très accueillants et très disponibles lorsque nécessaire. Nous recommandons fortement cette location pour le calme et la proximité de villages à visiter !!!

Merveilleux séjour, un endroit de rêve.

Que dire à part que nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette magnifique propriété. La maison, tellement vaste et chaleureuse, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et autre, l 'immense jardin, la superbe piscine, tout est magnifique. La vue est splendide, le calme absolu, on ne peut qu'y passer des vacances de rêve si on aime la nature et la tranquilité. Pétanque, badmington et barbecue ont ravi nos soirées, et il y a tellement de superbes ballades à faire et de très beaux villages à visiter tout autour ! Corn est parfaitement situé pour profiter des merveilles de la vallée du Célé et du Lot. Les propriétaires sont charmants et nous ont accueilli avec tellement de gentillesse ! Franchement il faudrait des pages pour décrire un lieu si magique, un endroit qu' on voudrait garder secrêt pour soi ! Encore merci pour tout , on ne rêve que de revenir !

Agréable séjour

Très belle parenthèse loin du tumulte de la vie quotidienne avec une vue à couper le souffle, une maison et un cadre magnifique, sans oublier la très belle piscine chauffée. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et les enfants ont apprécié de nourrir les animaux ainsi que tous les jeux à disposition.

Arrivée sous la pluie, nous avons été très bien acceuillis par les propriétaires. Première soirée autour d'un très beau feu de cheminée, la maison est spacieuse et agreable! Nous avons réellement pu profiter le lendemain du grand terrain, de la superbe piscine à débordement donnant sur la vallée, bon petit barbecue sous la grande halle couverte! Les propriétaires sont très discrets, nous etions vraiment tranquilles et avons profité à fond (hélas sejour trop court). Nous reviendrons. Les facteurs auvergnats.

Lovely and commodious house and grounds with charming and attentive hosts

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this lovely house and made full use of the beautiful pool and the ping pong table! The grounds and surrounding countryside were beautiful and perfect for afternoon rambles, made even more enjoyable by the chickens, cats, donkeys and ponies on the property. Nathalie and Bernard were charming and attentive hosts who went out of their way at every opportunity to make our stay even more enjoyable- booking dinner reservations for us the first night when we arrived late, and providing us with emergency breakfast for the next morning. Bernard and their two dogs took us on a guided walk of the area, providing lots of local history which made pur stay that much more enjoyable and interesting. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more congenial home away from home. We highly recommend this wonderful spot!

Erholung und Genuss pur

Liebe Urlauber - dieser Ort, die Umgebung und das Haus sind perfekt, um diesen schönen Flecken Frankreichs kennen zu lernen. Rocamadur, die Höhle von Padirac, die Täler der Cele und der Lot, die Höhle von Peche Merle - ist quasi alles "um die Ecke". Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Haus hat Charme und ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Im riesigen Garten und im Pool-Bereich (Pool war sehr sauber) geniesst man Pivatsphäre - ein grosser gedeckter Grillplatz wäre auch da - es ist für alles gesorgt! Die kleine Bäckerei in Figeac am gleich Anfang der Hauptstrasse macht einen traumhaften Apfelkuchen! Grossen Spass hatten wir mit der kleinen, aber exklusiven Hühnerschar - welche überhaupt nicht stört - und sich auf dem grossen und weitläufigen Gelände verteilt. Die zwei Hühner-Mütter mit ihren Jungen waren allerliebst. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
