This was our second year at this property in Mc Henry and it was another wonderful stay. We gather all 4 of our kids, their spouses and grandkids every summer - 9 adults, 6 grand kids in all. We have stayed in about 5 different Vrbo’s prior to this one, but this is the only one we’ve returned to. I love the flow, layout and comfort of this house. The kitchen is SO well appointed and stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, platters. And the multiple refrigerators provided space for all of our fruits, veggies, meats, sodas, beer, etc. The outside space with the hot tub, lily pad and large fire pit were a hit with parents and kids alike. Kris has always been so easy to contact and work with. Can’t say enough about how great this place is.

This was such a great house for our family for Thanksgiving, plenty of space and lots of stuff to do. Beautiful area as well, we’d love to come back when there isn’t a foot of snow on the ground to better explore the area!

We had very few complaints, and all were minor. The only complaint was that t.p. was not stocked in the hall bathroom, which was of course used all the time. Obviously we stole from the supply in other bathrooms and it probably was just a miss when restocking. We really appreciated the accommodations for as many people as we had.

We are a large family and we rented this house for the weekend to celebrate Navy graduation. The house was immaculate, and communication with the owner was excellent. There were things to do for all of us: the hot tub, bonfire, games, movies, etc. We had a great time at this house and would highly recommend it for family trips!

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It was just as described, actually better! The kitchen was so clean and well appointed. Lots of refrigerator space, large comfortable beds/bedrooms, a lovely grassy yard and comfortable fire-pit area. And our host Kris could not have been nicer, more responsive, easy to work with. I would definitely return to this lovely home!
Our 6 yr old grandson loved the large supply 300 piece puzzles!

Great house for our extended family. Spacious, clean, bright, well stocked (kitchen, towels, etc.). Swimming by the pier was a big hit with our little ones. Huge, beautiful lawn with shade trees, lovely fire pit and hot tub, Lovely quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking. Kris was excellent to work with - very responsive and helpful. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Exceeded expectations

The view alone made the home a great place to stay. Add six+ bedrooms and there was plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit is huge with chairs all around. It was a perfect retreat. We will return.

Wonderful Property and Owners!

This is a beautiful property on the Fox river. Lovely views from the living room, bedrooms and deck. Cozy enclosed porch. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Our family had such a good time staying in this large and relaxing home. Comfortable space, all the amenities you could want. Property managers are super responsive and a joy to work with. Highly recommend this property!

We take pride in owning and renting this big and comfortable home. We make sure the home is clean and ready for guests all year. There is so much room, even with bad weather you will find plenty to keep everyone busy. The area is also very lively with a drive in movie theater, Volo Auto Museum, shops and many restaurants and bars. A great vacation spot for the whole family.
