Not the best experience.

First issue, the property locator on VRBO is not accurate. I booked this property strictly based off distance to the Knoxville airport, and a property that some other friends were staying at in the area. When I landed in Knoxville and entered the address into the GPS, it was over an hour away, when I was expecting 20 minutes. We ended up having to get a hotel room because it was already dark, and we were a little tired from the travel. Second issue, weather came in while we were in town (still haven’t made it to the property at this point) and the roads ended up freezing over. This property is impossible to get to in those conditions, therefore, causing us another night in a hotel room. Third issue was once we were finally able to make it to the property, there was no cell service, so I couldn't pull up the property information or door codes. (Lesson learned on my part) Forth issue. There were “no pets allowed” signs all over the place, but there were several dogs around. Not that I mind dogs at all, but when we were walking around trying to find the place, there must have been 5 or 6 dogs in different property’s that I thought were going to break through the patio glass to get to us. Clearly there where no owners home at the time, so that was very annoying. Fifth issue and last straw, there was no running water (there was another review on this) and no timeline on when it would be fixed. We ended up leaving and finishing our vacation in a hotel. Overall, the property was nice and cozy. I didn’t turn the tv on so not sure if it worked, and there were some games to keep you occupied. Other than that, there didn’t really seem to be anything to do outside in that area. I was expecting maybe some scenic trails or something, but other than areas to walk your dog, not much to do outside.

Dirty Drinkwater, no running water

Arrived at approximately 9:30 pm to this condo and there was no running water in the condo. Reached in the cupboard for a glass to get water and the drinking glasses were filthy and, of course, we couldnt get any water out of the tap to wash the dishes nor to drink. Called the number in the email regarding property issues and reached Ida. She was very helpful and when I told her of the issue, she immediately tried to help. While we waited for her to sort things out, i went out the parking lot to get a better signal on my phone. I encmoutee

Not what I had expected

I had the idea from online photos that the condo was larger, had a hot tub, and was more in t he woods, not adjacent to other units. I did not fully realize how difficult the loft was to get in and out of from the pictures, and once there, we called a third friend and told her not to come, as she would not be able to navaigate the ladder/steps. The photos of views were misleading---did nto exist from condo or balcony. We wanted a fireplace, which was there, but we had to wait a day and a half till we could find firewokd. By photos we thought the property was on ground level, and that was not clear from descriptions; loading and unloading our things was a real workout. This condo is better for younger people with children---that was not clear to us from the online verbage and pictures.

Poor view from deck.

Overall we true enjoyed our stay. The only down side was the view. You look at a roof and 4 vent pipes or the side of a hill. It was very clean and quiet 😊
