Great Location and Great Cabin

Cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. Cabin was close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough to enjoy the quietness. My wife and I will be returning.

Cute but not to clean, bed bugs!

At first we thought it was gonna be a cute cabin. Which it is. But could be a little cleaner and Fox broke fan and light switches. But I would NOT stay in the cabin until the have it treated for bed bugs. By the end of our stay I had bites all over my body and found them in my luggage now I’m having to treat my house because of this! This rental company is not being helpful at all they just say we have it checked. I do not recommend this cabin until they take precautions on this issue.

Heartland Rentals takes bed bug reports seriously. You checked out of our cabin April 3 after staying for 6 nights. Guests checked back in that day. Our first call from you was on April 8th. Your review states by the end of your stay you were covered in bites but you never reported this to the office until 5 days after you left the cabin. At this time, you state you then searched your bags and found bugs. We feel like you would have contacted us immediately after the first sign of bugs and finding them as well as when you were in the cabin. Not days later. We have our cabins checked monthly by a professional bed bug company who take trained dogs into the cabins to search for bugs. We have had no previous reports of bugs and the guests currently in the cabin have not reported any problems. Heartland Rentals takes every precautionary measure to ensure the cabins do not have bed bugs. Being quite the travelers they are, bed bugs can be picked up anywhere unbeknownst to anyone. Therefore, we keep a close watch on the cabins and have them checked repeatedly to ensure there are no bugs. Your Google review and this review don't exactly coincide.
