Huis heeft perfecte ligging met zeer mooi uitzicht en ligt op loopafstand van Belves waar je vers brood kunt halen en een aantal interessante bezienswaardigheden hebt. Verder zijn er binnen een kring van 30 km onnoemelijk veel interessante activiteiten te doen. Het huis loopt over van charme, is ruim, was zeer schoon en comfortabel. Zwembad heerlijk. Minpunt waren de bijgeboekte handdoeken en bedlinnen; ze waren daarentegen niet van de kwaliteit die we bij het huis vonden horen (handdoeken dun, bedlinnen polyester)

La villa a Belvès era perfetta per la nostra riunione di famiglia, I bambini si sono divertiti nel giardino recintato e la piscina privata è stata un successo, Abbiamo amato l'ampio soggiorno dove potevamo riunirci dopo una giornata di esplorazione, I ristoranti vicini erano a pochi passi, rendendo le nostre opzioni di ristorazione super convenienti, Abbiamo anche goduto di qualche giro in canoa sul fiume Dordogne, che era a breve distanza, Consiglio vivamente questo posto per le famiglie!

Fijn huis voor als je met meer gezinnen bent. De keuken is aan de kleine kant. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Zwembad en buitenruimte is ook prima. Restaurantjes en bakker op loopafstand. Heel jammer vinden wij de vele tijgermuggen buiten zitten in de avonden is bij a niet te doen.

Een prachtig huis met sfeervolle accenten en genoeg ruimte voor 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. De keuken is voldoende uitgerust maar een beetje klein om met meerdere mensen in te koken. De omgeving is prachtig. De pizzeria 100 meter verderop in de straat was geweldig en er waren 2 bakkers op een 5 tal minuten rijden van het huis. Alles was prima onderhouden en vooral ook heel schoon.

Mooi uitzicht op Belves en omstreken. Verzorgd zwembad met een diepste punt van meer dan 2m. Op wandelafstand van dorpscentrum. We hebben last gehad van veel tijgermuggen ter plaatse. Het huis was redelijk geprijsd en is zeer ruim met genoeg slaapkamers, badkamers en toiletten. Sommige delen van het huis zijn wel sterk verouderd (rolluiken, vloer, meubels). De keuken was vrij klein t.ov. het huis maar was wel goed voorzien van gereedschap en kruiden. Rustige buurt. Horeca op wandelafstand.

Stunning villa with outstanding views but there is not a sea view which it describes as having! Lovely bedrooms, great pool, lots of room and a great distance from the town which is only a few minutes walk away and has nice restaurants and bars. The only problem we encountered was the amount of mosquitos around the pool seating area. We were a party of 8, including 2 children, and we were all bitten so much we spent the whole week taking antihistamines and covering ourselves in mosquito spray and we couldn't sit outside after late afternoon which was disappointing The owners should treat the grass at the start of the season to kill the eggs so this isn't an issue as it did spoil our stay and would stop me from booking it again but everything else was great.

Super toffe locatie met een werkelijk fantastisch zicht, enerzijds een glooiend landschap, anderzijds het medieval stadje Belvès. Keuken van de woning is aan de kleine kant . Tip, gebruik de eetkamer als buffet ruimte en nuttig de maaltijden op het terras vooraan .

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Het huis was imposant en ruim. Soms bleven voorbijgangers zelfs staan en maakten een foto. Het uitzicht op het dorp kan zo op een ansichtkaart. In de dordogne blijft natuurlijk genoeg te beleven. Het perceel was ruim en er was voldoende privacy. Het sanitair is wel wat verouderd.

We verbleven in begin september een weekje met 8 volwassenen en enkele kleine kinderen in dit prachtige huis. We hebben echt genoten van deze mooie woning, uitzicht en locatie. Uitzicht is prachtig. Dicht bij het stadje maar toch rustig. We hadden mooi weer en we konden het huis koel houden voor de kinderen. De woning is goed voorzien. We hebben genoten! Je kan vele dingen bezoeken in de buurt zonder ver te moeten rijden. Je kan savonds makkelijk iets gaan eten in de leuke restaurantjes van het stadje. Veel ruimte om te spelen: zwembad, schommel beneden, tuintje en in het huis. Alles kon afgesloten worden met hekje of ballustrades. De eigenaars zelf helpen de woning mee onderhouden en houden oogje in het zeil en dat zorgt de de woning helemaal top is. Elk jaar gaan we naar een ander huisje maar mss komen we hier wel eens terug! Een echte aanrader! Bedankt!

Family holiday- Aug 2020

We had a brilliant holiday here. There were small niggles with details at the property (size of kitchen; difficulty to find shade; bedroom/bathroom closure/locking) but none of them outweighed the absolutely fantastic position and views of this villa. We spent most days in and around the pool, which was brilliant. Prior to going on this holiday I tried to communicate with HomeAway and Belvilla through the app, website and emails but received no response at all. With the pandemic, it was more important than ever to get some response to my questions but we got nothing. It was very close to departure that I had some limited correspondence with the owners but I would have appreciated more. We all felt that for the price we paid, towels and bedding should have been included- we would have even preferred to pay more for this to automatically be the case. Belvès is a lovely town and this property feels like the best place to enjoy it from. We have happy memories of a special time here.

Van een toplocatie gesproken! Een prachtig zicht over de heuvels én het stadje Belves, je kan er geen genoeg van krijgen! Een jump in de pool, je ontbijt of dinner, je kan geen mooiere omgeving hebben. Het huis is uniek, het komt zo uit een sprookje. Het straalt authenticiteit uit! De 5 kamers zijn zeer ruim, de bedden zijn nieuw. Desondanks het warm was, zijn de kamers vrij koel te houden door de rolluiken. Je staat op 5 minuten in het centrum waar tal van winkeltjes zijn. Je wagen, die heb je niet meer nodig. Het ontvangst was warm, vriendelijk en het huis was zeer proper. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ideale vakantie is aanwezig. Een topper!

Het huis was zeer proper. Het bestelde bedlinnen was echter niet aanwezig, maar dat werd snel opgelost. Wel jammer dat de eigenares nooit de bedden zelf opmaakt. Is wel lastig als je dat na een vermoeiende rit nog zelf moet doen. Het huis zelf is totaal verouderd met krakende vloeren en deuren. De keuken is veel te klein voor 10 personen, er is zelfs geen plaats op het aanrecht om groenten te snijden; Het gasfornuis werkt erg traag. Er zijn wel 2 koelkasten, dus dat is goed. Er is ook een vaatwasmachine, maar die kan vrij weinig vaat aan zodat we deze 2 keer per dag moesten gebruiken. Er is genoeg eetgerief en bestek, maar geen degelijk mes om groenten en vlees te snijden. De eetplaats is totaal verouderd en vrij donker. Gelukkig regende het maar 1 dag en konden we dus steeds buiten eten. Er zijn 3 WC's. Bij slechts 1 ervan was er een WC-rolhouder. Er zijn ook 3 douches. 1 ervan was min of meer een regendouche die klein was maar wel een goede straal gaf, de 2 andere gaven weinig water. Het huis is 50 jaar of ouder en dus niet geïsoleerd. Daardoor worden vooral de 4 slaapkamers boven erg warm, zelfs al hebben we heel ons verblijf alle rolluiken naar beneden gehouden. Gelukkig was het buiten wel aangenaam. Er is een groot zwembad, niet verwarmd maar bij temperaturen rond 30 graden was dat geen probleem. Het zicht op de omgeving is prachtig en daarvoor hadden wij dit huis gekozen. Jammer dat het huis zelf niet van hetzelfde niveau was.

Heerlijk groot en prachtig huis en locatie. Schitterend uitzicht en op een paar minuten lopen van het centrum. Het huis heeft veel charme en is groot en ruim. Twee nieuwe badkamers en een nieuwe keuken. De derde badkamer is wel gedateerd. Wel is het huis gehorig en kraken de vloeren. Daarnaast is het wat minder kind vriendelijk vanwege de trappen en geen hek rondom het zwembad. Het zwembad is top maar helaas niet verwarmd. Alles was goed schoon en de tuin is ook heel ruim. In de omgeving is van alles te doen. We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad.

Huge home in one of the most lovely small cities in France...around the corner from the town center. The owner was very warm and helpful! Two in our group had difficulty with stairs...this house is not easily accessible for them. WIth the other two to help them, all worked out well.
