Property was exactly as listed. Our Family enjoyed our time at this rental. Bathroom drain was a bit slow, but overall everything was great! Would definitely choose this place again if I was looking to return to the area.
My family and I stayed here while visiting NYC. The property is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space and amenities. Great communication with the host. I highly recommend!
Eli was clear in communication, easy transport to Manhattan, nice guys and good panini at the supermarket across the street, nice neighbours. The whole stay was perfect. Thank you Eli!
Nice, clean property. Very comfortable stay. Felt safe in the area. Neighbor was extremely helpful. Had trouble getting the keys out of the lock box at check in. Aside from that our stay was great. Owner answered all my questions quickly and was very nice. Hope to stay here again in the future.
The home was cute, large, and had nice big beds. There was a 24-hour market across the street that was awesome. Parking is difficult to find, and the weekend nights are noisy with sirens. Overall it was a good option just outside the city.
Awesome apartment of 3 bedrooms, high ceilings, 2 bathrooms, perfect for our family of 5!
Bus ride with NJ 154 bus is simple, kids love it and it brings you into Manhattan within 30 mins!
Highly recommended this host and apartment!
Only comment would be to add blinds to the living room windows for more confort at night when the sun is lowering

Great location, property needs some TCL
Some more attention in cleaning this property would make it excellent. Also more towels are needed. Only a 4 towels for 5 people for 5 days and no where to wash them.
We had a nice stay! It was relatively easy to get into manhattan. We found that some of the sheets were dirty but we swapped them so it was no problem. The pack and play was not functional, it would not open all the way, so we were glad we brought our own! The toy basket was a nice touch
We stayed here in August 2023. It was excellent then so we decided to return. Very clean and comfortable home. Owner communication was good. Only complaint is that the wrong key code to get in was sent to me in an email. The downstairs neighbor tried to help and got the manager for us who got us in. Over all fantastic stay. Hope to return again. Thank you.
Place is just as described. Beds comfy. Bus stop right across the street. Easy commute to New York. Aldis, Burlington, Target all located close. You have to pay for parking daily. Its a short walk to the library to get the permit. It would be nice if the city allowed you to pay for more than 1 day. Parking for the apartment wasnt a problem for us, always managed to get a close spot. Would definitely stay again!!
This property is a great place to stay! The property looks just like as described and it fit my family of 6 perfectly. The location was great and there were plenty of things to do in the area both driving and walking distance. The only qualms that I had was there were no blinds in the living room area and one of the beds creaked a bit so it would wake me up if I moved. One of the bathroom vents did have a bit of dust and there was a shortage of pans but other than that my family truly enjoyed the stay. It was clean and there was enough space to move around and the rooms had enough space to accommodate 2 people each! You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Three stars, but could have been 5-stars with very minor changes.
Great place executed on the super-thrifty. It was clean. No top sheets, only comforters - they said that's how they do it. Five washcloths total for five people for five nights - they said that's all they provide. Not nearly enough furniture (at least one piece of furniture in the photos was not there) -- master bedroom had no dresser, or drawers of any kind, or counter-height surface of any kind and no mirror.
This review is by the husband of the renter. I was one of the five people in the group.

Thank you for your review Eve. We do prepare the place for as much people as included in the reservation. The aspect of this review that surprised us is the fact that you communicated the need of additional linen and we went out of our ways to provide that to you to help your stay a more comfortable one. Keeping in mind that we provide an airbnb, which differs from a hotel and one aspect that makes us different is that there is no housekeeping provided. In regards to furniture, we had to upgrade the main sofa to a new better one as the previous one broke. So, during your stay and any upcoming stay, the amount and type of furniture in the place is the same as described /portrayed in pictures.
1. The door knob was loose. We had to fix it to be able to lock it.
2. Dirty and very noisy floors
3. Not safe. A man approached us as we were unloading to help. We had to say no multiple times. The neighborhood is bad
4. Parking condition was not included in the description. It would have helped if we knew that there is ZERO parking at all.
5. A couple of us ended up staying in a hotel to be able to safely park our cars.
6. Area is not accessible to public transportation.
7. The kitchen was unsanitary.
We DO NOT recommend the place.
We stayed 4 nights two families 7 adults/3 kids.
The appartment is spacious and it was very clean.
The beds in the rooms are confortable but the pull out couches were uncorfortable, specially one of them, it need a new matress for sure.
There are only 4 chairs at the table ( it would be nice if the can provide wirh more chairs as it is listed for 10 people) Also it was not enough kitcheware, but it didn't bother us because we were there only to sleep.
We found the transport to Manhattan easy. There is not metro but the bus stop is in front of the house and it takes around 30/40 to Port Authority terminal. It would be nice if George have provided us with buses info. It tooks us a while to figure out.
There are more buses 10 min walk down to the river. A worth walk as there is a very nice view if NYC skyline.
Daily parking pases are available for 10$ in the library and you can park your car in the street. ( check for parking restrictions).
The neighborhood is far from fancy but we found it family friendly and safe.
Overall is was a nice stay. Thank you

Moyen

Scientist who love to host new friends and help them to enjoy their visit to my town.
Why they chose this property
Access to this property was the main reason for it to be acquired. Off street parking is normally abundant, available and safe in there area. Avoiding very high toll costs and parking fees by way of the many alternative commuting options to in and out the NYC as follows: 1) Uber/Lift is the local favorite due to easy, fast and abundant availability. This is not necessary the cheapest option but, again it maybe the faster one. However, when it comes to multiple passengers, it would beat any other transportation means cost, when comparing it to other public transportation means at a per person rate. When flying in/out of Newark EWR, which is the best way to get to this house, Uber may be the most fast and cost effective option. 2) The NJ Transit bus is one of the safest and cheaper way of travel. Some of the stops are located right out the apartment door! To reach NYC/manhattan, NJ Transit Bus #154 is normally the closest public bus one could take from the nearest bust stop right by the house, to commute to/from Port Authority Bus Terminal NYC. From there, you could reach anywhere on Earth connecting through all area airports. 3) You could also find many other transportation alternatives within a short walk at Bergenline Ave. That also includes additional NJ Transit bus stops. That includes more frequent busses/options. 4) New York Waterway (a.k.a The Ferry) could be taken in Port Imperial Weehaken, NJ. Today is one of the best and high-end options to travel to NYC, even during rush hours. Uber may be taken to Port Imperial but, they also offer a red school looking bus schedule that takes and drop passengers through different routes. This are included within the waterway fare. The closes stop to the house would be located in JFK Boulevard East. 5) Bikes are normally used in the area and around NYC. Some public transportations (e.g., bus, rail, ferry) allow to take them onboard as well.
What makes this property unique
This property positions guests walking distance to Pharmacy, value store, dry cleaners and restaurants, which are located within a few steps of the door. North Bergen restaurant row is also located within a short walk towards Bergenline Ave. Home Depot, Lowes, Burlington, banks and other restaurants are also located within walking distance towards Tonnelle Ave.. Walmart is a little further away, also reachable by a longer walk, Uber/taxi or bus. This unit is also walking distance to schools, parks, shopping and of course NYC transportation. Also, the following attractions are walking distance or very close by the property:
1) The greatest of all - Bergenline Avenue: Currently is the longest commercial avenue in the state, boasting over 300 retail stores and restaurants. 2) North Bergen's JJ Braddock Park (a.k.a. 80th Sreet Park) is right by Bergenline Ave. Restaurant Row in North Hudson. Encompasses an area of 167 acres (67.6 ha), including Woodcliff Lake, the 16 acres body of water that is the largest lake in the county. Basketball, baseball/softball, football, soccer, picnic, BBQ, trail biking, jogging/running, tennis, volleyball, fishing, dog run among other activities could be done in the park. 3) John F. Kennedy Boulevard East, and sometimes referred to as JFK Boulevard East is a two-way, mostly two lane, scenic thoroughfare in the North Hudson, New Jersey municipalities of Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg and North Bergen. River Rd is a river front strip also reachable by a longer walk, Uber/taxi or bus. 4) River Rd is the home to river front communities boasting with countless restaurants/shops, the awesome NYC Waterway (ferry at Port Imperial), breathtaking views of NYC among many other activities. Located in the towns of Edgewater, Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg and North Bergen in New Jersey.
