About this property

Quiet, Family Retreat in the Smokies with Brooke, fire pit, Blackstone & more!

Are you looking for a quiet, and private location for your stay in the Smokies? We would love to have you as our guests. If visiting Smoky Mountain National Park is on your list of things to do, then you will be just minutes away from one of the the park entrances. Our cabin is off Line Springs Rd in Wear’s Valley and is also very near to several art and antique shops, zip-lining, horse back riding, tubing, and more without getting into traffic.

Welcome to our family cabin! We take pride in our warm, inviting cabin where adventures begin, and memories are made. Smoky Hollow Cabin is centrally located - 20 minutes to light #3 in Pigeon Forge (15 miles to Dollywood) or 35 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg (16 miles - take the scenic route through the national park which is only only minutes away from the cabin). It is the perfect location for your family vacation whether you want to stay in or venture out to experience all the area has to offer. You can walk out the door and hop on a trail or go drive to Smoky Mountain National Park within minutes. The cabin is perfect for two families and their children. It is comfortably furnished yet stylish to help you enjoy all the comforts of a home. This is our home away from home, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes our cabin unique is it is privately managed by the family and has the warmth of a home; it is not managed by the big property management companies who do not pay attention to the details. All furniture and accessories were selected for the cabin to make it warm and cozy. It is also quiet and somewhat secluded rather than in a busy neighborhood with cabins built on top of one another. While staying in Smoky Hollow Cabin, you will be surrounded by nature and tranquility even though other cabins are nearby.

The cabin is easily accessible with a safe drive.. The driveway is long and straight and can easily accommodate up to 4 vehicles. With 3,300 square feet, the cabin boasts plenty of space to spread out. The children can play outside or in the basement game room. Adults can gather around the fire in the family room, have a drink at the bar in the sunroom, sit around the 8-person table while grilling dinner on the patio, or simply relax on the rocking chairs and swings on the porches. We also have an outdoor fire pit that can be used with adult supervision to warm up or make smores. Not many cabins offer this kind of space, so take advantage of the time staying in to enjoy your time together. The cabin is equipped with WiFi and cable throughout the home with the 5 TVs in the cabin. There is a TV in each bedroom with DirecTV as well as one in the family room and the gameroom.

The main floor is easily accessible with only 3 steps to enter at the main level. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are open and inviting with a floor to ceiling stone, gas-log fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need except your food. We operate on the honor system, so if you use the last of something, then we kindly ask you to replace it. A king-sized master suite includes a walk-in closet, double vanity, jetted tub, and a separate steam shower. There is also a separate bathroom just off the kitchen which includes a shower; this is also just off the basement stairs. Walk outside on the porch to go to the attached sun room - a great place to hang out and is complete with a wet bar. There are porches galore which offer many places to sit and enjoy the tranquility of this peaceful setting with the natural sound of water running through the property’s own brook.

Walk upstairs to the second floor and overlook the living room from the catwalk or step outside onto the private porch...a beautiful space to sit outside with a cup of coffee or curl up with a good book. The second-floor bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and has a very large en suite bathroom with a standard shower/tub. This room also has an exciting Kidz Cave (closet they will think is amazing!) where the children can play in their own, secret hiding spot or sleep - a sure bet to keep them occupied!

The basement level includes the third bedroom with triple-decker, double-sized bunk beds and a separate double bed to sleep 4 - 8 people! The game room is in the garage which includes ping-pong, foosball, games, toys, and more. This is also the location for the large laundry room with washer and dryer. The bottom floor porch can be accessed in three different locations to lead to the outdoor dining area complete with a grill and 36" Blackstone griddle. You can also walk out on the little bridge to sit by the brook or gather around the fire pit for s’mores. We do not have a hot tub. You can walk around the property and not have to worry about falling down a mountain!

We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do. Contact us now to book your stay at Smoky Hollow Cabin!

Memories in the Smokies
Loved the Smokies and all the things to do in the area. Lots to do for all ages! Cabin was in a peaceful location but maybe a little remote. Was spacious for the four of us. I do think kitchen could have been a little more organized in lower cabinets and some deeper cleaning in them and the drawers. Not knowing who your neighbors were, hikers and for privacy, window covering on some of the downstairs would be good. WiFi was not good so couldn’t do any of our app movies. Didn’t see any bears or other wildlife but enjoyed the atmosphere of good clean outside air. It was a nice experience in the Smokies and made some great memories. Thank you

Peaceful location
Spacious rustic cabin off the beaten path, yet not far from the park or a general store if needed. The kids loved the game room and the mountain stream that ran through the property. Cabin was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Loved having the sound of the stream as we lounged in the hammocks on the porch. The lot was larger than others nearby and had a really nice fire pit 30-40 yards from the cabin. If there was a criticism, it would be the WiFi was slow….but out in the mountains, what do you expect?? As long as you’re not trying to get on a work zoom meeting, you’ll be good. It’s a good excuse to unplug anyway…

Great get away
Overall, it was a great place, owners were fantastic very accommodating. Location is beautiful and we loved the fireplace. wish there were blinds over the living room for a little more privacy in the evening, other than that it was amazing and will definitely be back
