Take a long stroll up the East Fork creek where 100+ year old farm houses, grazing horses and cattle, and rustic old barns and silos whisper the stories from a bye gone era.

We really enjoyed the outside trail, hot tub, and outdoor vibes. Kitchen had everything needed to make a meal and even some provisions. We could not get the fireplace to work but had heat so we were nice and warm at night. Great 2 night trip!
The perfect location for what we were looking for. We were exploring western North Carolina for a few days and it was the perfect location to get to several areas in a reasonable timeframe. The house was very comfortable for what we needed.
Close to shops and restaurants is Dillsboro and Sylva. Close to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Beautiful setting and comfortable stay. Had everything we needed for a great stay.
Property is exactly as advertised. The drive up was simple due to well paved road. Easy access to Sylva and surrounding areas. Great overall for a weekend getaway. Thanks for having us.
Great location on places where we wanted to visit. House was very clean and private! Quite area and nice hot tub! We will definitely come back and rent this place again!
Everything was exactly as advertised.. very cozy and homey. We loved the bear decoration and the location was everything. The hot tub was hot enough but personally I would have preferred it to be a bit hotter. Absolutely loved the fireplace. The only thing I wish there was a tv in every room if we would have brought the kids with us. And I wish there was a walkout porch for upstairs room. Overall it was a wonderful and memorable experience that we will forever cherish. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back with the family
My wife and I traveled to Sylva to visit our daughter and her family. We wanted to try something different, so we rented this quaint cabin on the side of a hill surrounded by a forest, thus there was quiet solitude which we greatly enjoyed. The cabin was nice and spacious. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The location is convenient to Sylva and surrounding areas. We will stay again soon!
We had the best stay. We arrived after dark and it was so well lit and easy to find. The space is so cozy and clean. We made some amazing memories and the kids asked to come back soon.
This was my 1st VRBO experience & it was exactly what I had hoped for! I wanted a pet friendly cabin in the woods, away from the hustle & bustle. It was clean, quiet, somewhat disconnected- the wifi worked fine for my phone, I never used the tv. It had all the essentials I needed, the hot tub was easy to use & next to a creek was just a cherry on top. Really enjoyed my visit here.
Wow! What a great cabin! Very clean and close to town! A buddy and me stayed here! We truly enjoyed it for two nights! The hot tub was perfect after exploring around the cute little towns near the cabin! Highly Recommend it!
Loved the cabin, location and the owners were wonderful.
We had a lovely time sitting in the hot tub, around the fire pit, and even along the little creek on the side for morning coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely would stay again. Perfect little cabin in the woods. Thank you
My husband and I live and work in Sylva and are busy parents to our 4 children. My husband works for the phone company and I am a potter that enjoys playing in the mud all day. We feel very blessed to be able to live and raise our children in these beautiful mountains.
Why they chose this property
This property has been in my family for over 100 years. Growing up in Maryland, I have many fond childhood memories of my family's regular visits to the mountains and staying in the Little Cove. Playing in the woods and catching crawdads in the creek with my brother were some of my favorite things to do.
Originally built in the 1970's, the aging Little Cove cabin was in need of some serious TLC. As a result, my husband and I began a 2 year 'rebuild'. The result was a brand new home with the nostalgic charm of an old mountain A-Frame cabin. We are proud of the hard-work and love we've poured into this cabin and hope that many families will now make special memories of their own in the Little Cove.
What makes this property unique
Wooded, surrounded by nature and its sounds and wildlife! Private mountain stream, walking trail, firepit, hot tub, and much more!
