Welcome to your next favorite home-away-from-home here at Bucket List Retreat! Located in the Terry Peak area, this wonderful cabin has views for days! Sitting higher in elevation, you'll love looking over the magnificent Black Hills as you sit in the hot tub on the covered deck! With easy proximity to the Terry Peak Ski Area as well as local ATV/snowmobile trails, hiking/biking, and many other fun activities, this cabin is perfect for all year-round fun. Located in the heart of the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor, you'll be hard pressed to not find a fun adventure to enjoy! The Stewart Lodge at Terry Peak is within minutes of the cabin, the Mickelson trail and many other ATV/Snowmobile trails are only 10 minutes away, and Spearfish Canyon with its great fishing/hiking/waterfalls is only a short 15 minute drive away. Downtown Deadwood is also just a short 15 minute drive or taxi ride away as well, full of places to gamble, dining options, and many festivals throughout the year! You can also be enjoying the beauty of Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and more in about an hours drive from the property. Whether you're in the area to enjoy an adventure filled vacation, relaxing weekend, or a sight-seeing tour of the area, Bucket List Retreat is sure to be a great place to rest your head and recharge.

After all your amazing adventures, coming home to this cabin will surely blow you away with a unique cabin experience. Outside you'll find an open lot as well as a double deck, with the lower level including a hot tub. There's also a pellet grill for preparing your favorite meals, and an indoor/outdoor wood fireplace. Inside you'll find an amazing open concept living space complete with a wood floor, large entry/mud room, a very cozy sectional sofa, fireplace, flat-screen TV, and an open 2-story living area filled with large windows to enjoy the view! The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island great for gathering around while preparing meals - you can even enjoy the view from the kitchen as well! Upstairs you'll love the additional living area as well as 3 of the 4 bedrooms - along with a covered deck with an incredible view. The bathrooms are spacious and inviting as well and one even includes a jacuzzi tub!

There's also plenty of space for your large trailers full of ATV's, motorcycles, or snowmobiles!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 to get away and relax. The views were the best! I loved all of the natural lighting through the big windows. We also enjoyed the hot tub! The rooms were spacious but I would recommend some dressers for storage or at least some hangers. The pit boss tripped the breaker everytime we tried to use it so that was a downer for the steaks we had but ended up just using the regular grill. Overall it was a great stay and we will consider coming back.

Ideal location to Terry Peak, beautiful house however the dishwasher did not work, if you used the pellet grill on the back deck and had the TV on you would blow a breaker and the hot water was warm at best. I did text on the dishwasher because that was part of the checkout instructions but never did receive a response.

We had a great stay during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of space. Enjoyed the hot tub almost every day. We appreciate the hospitality and may book again for next year. Could use more storage for clothing (dressers etc), including more hangers in closets. More towels also. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The property was great. It was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was nice and had every thing we needed. The location and views were great. The only slight issues were the pellet grill kept tripping the breaker, the hot tube was recently filled so it needed to warm up over night, and the bedding on several beds wasn't quite dry yet after washing and had to be put back in the dryer. But overall, no big deal and we were really happy with the place. Would recommend!

Great Stay near the Black Hills

The Bucket List Retreat exceeded our expectations. The view off the back porch has to be one of the best in the area! We had never been to this part of the country and heading back to this gorgeous home late every afternoon after some long drives made it even more worthwhile. We definitely reccomend to anyone heading to Deadwood or the Black hills to give this place a try!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. We know it was on Terry's Peak- but didn't realize the climb up and the hills we'd need to drive daily. The rental is in a new development and you definitely would need 4-wheel drive in the winter. Views were beautiful. Neighboring rentals were all respectful and it was not noisy. Fit all 10 of us (2 adults, 8 kids).
