About this property

Ski in / Ski out 4 bedroom Townhouse at Sunday River

Located in the heart of Sunday River in the Locke townhouse community. This is our family ski home that we are only renting out a few weeks during the year when we won't be there enjoying everything the mountain has to offer.

The townhouse is 3 levels with plenty of space to spread out. The top floor has 3 bedrooms (master with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, guest room with queen bed, and a bunk room with 2 sets of bunks). The main level is open concept with two living areas, kitchen, half-bathroom, and wood burning fireplace. The lower level is fully finished with an additional living area, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Parking is right in front of the townhouse (2 spots).

Access to the ski trails is right out the front door to Wildfire (a blue square that will take you down to RoadRunner and to White Cap Lodge). Out the front door to the left is a heated outdoor community pool, rec room, and hot tub that is a great place to relax after a day of skiing.

Sunday River is a great mountain for everything from families to expert skiers. Its the second largest ski resort in Maine and sixth largest in New England. There are 8 peaks and 15 lifts with plenty of varied terrain - everything from easy groomers (particularly at White Cap which is close to the townhouse and a great learning mountain) to glades (Blind Ambition and Last Tango are our favorites) and and double black diamonds (Oz).

If you're looking for convenient access to Sunday River skiing without the hassle of dealing with parking and crowded lodges, this is the perfect home base for your family and friends to enjoy all that the mountain has to offer.

Great sunday river location

Property manager made our stay seamless. Check in to check out he was there to answer any questions. Condo is just as pictured.. .. a comfortable and clean mountain home. Condo is a short walk to blue trail . We loved it here! Thank you Josh!

Beautiful & Comfy Sunday River Getaway

Beautiful condo that was a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed with friends and were impressed by the seamless check-in process, easy communication with the owner and of course the wonderful condo itself. Everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay was inside and everything we could need outside was provided with check-in details! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away to the mountains to hike, ski or get away for a quiet weekend!

Great location - just not clean

This condo is in a great location just off the Wildfire trail at Sunday River. Unfortunately Wildfire wasn't yet open during our stay, so we had to ski on the natural hardpack of that ungroomed trail. It wouldn't be ideal for young children or beginner skiers, so check the trail status. The owner, Josh, responds quickly to communications. The unit is very spacious. The only negative was that the condo was not very clean when we checked in. The bathrooms were particularly unacceptable. We also had to clean the kitchen and fridge. The owner has dogs, and there was dog hair everywhere. If staying here, I would request the property be professionally cleaned before your stay.

For the benefit of others, this is our family ski condo. We use it nearly every weekend. For the few mid-weeks we rent it out, we do a thorough cleaning when we leave on Sunday to make it look just like the pictures. We have it professionally cleaned when the guests leave. We have 3 kids and 2 golden retrievers so it will never be perfect. If your looking to ski and rent a really nice place in the heart of the mountain, this is a good choice. If you are more like Chris, perhaps the Jordan or Grand Summit is a better choice.

Great Location and Skiing!

We had a great time at this property. It was very close to the slopes and was steps away from the pool area. Very accommodating all around. We would defiantly come back here to stay again.

The perfect ski vacation townhouse!

We booked this home for a long ski weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better place! The house is steps away from Wildfire (a blue trail) and a 3 minute drive from the South Ridge Lodge. The space was immaculate and huge! We all slept comfortably and made dinner each night . I cannot emphasize enough how excellent the clubhouse was! After a long day of skiing, we walked the short distance to the heated pool and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. What an amazing gem of a place! Josh was fantastic and gave us plenty of details and recommendations. We would love to stay here again and I would recommend Josh’s home to anyone!
