Such a unique and enjoyable stay! The unit was spacious and clean, well appointed, and very charming. The location with the old city ramparts is central to all of Avignon’s sites, particularly the Palais de Pape. Would recommend staying here to anyone!
Excellent location and comfortable property. Initial check in was not the easiest since we had to double park in front of the property while the property manager gave us the tour in French and keys. But it worked out and enjoyed the stay very much.
Nice, clean and centrally located. The property manager does not speak any English so can be difficult to ask any questions.
I would suggest that they leave a map of the area and suggestions for restaurants etc for those that aren’t familiar with the area. We got lost quite a few times.
Beautiful city and well maintained VRBO.

Dear Lori, thank you for your positive comments despite the fact Evelyne does not speak any English. We take your point with regard to the leaflets and map and you are definitely wright. We did not take time to refresh our leaflets and get up to date information for your stay , apologize for that, but it's been updated since your stay. All programs, maps and leaflets are now available of course. We are glad you lost yourself in Avignon, if you're not experiencing this at least once, then it means you did not truly visit the intra muros city ...we are glad you did !! that's part of the fun part in Avignon if we may say so...looking forward welcoming you in near future . This is a very comfortable apartment with all the comforts of home. 10 minutes from the train station & 5 minutes from the center of the old city where all the action is. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who is tired of hotels and want to spread out a bit. Our only challenge was arranging for our meeting to get key - Evelyn only speaks French which was a challenge for us. I recommend that Philippe broker meeting when guests can’t speak French
Accueil parfait, merci Philippe.

Dear Stefan, thank you so much for your positive feedback. Thank you visiting Avignon, the city desserves more than one visit, so much to discover here ! Looking foward welcoming you again . Kind regards. Philippe & Adriana
Avignon is full of history, art architecture. Clos des Arts is within 15 minutes walk of so much. It's even in some of the guidebooks in its own right. This apartment a clever conversion of one of the cells and part of the arcading of an ancient alms house. It is well presented with some lovely pieces of sculpted wood furniture. For a couple, it is comfortable, and excellently equipped for self catering using either the wonderful fresh ingredients from the nearby market or heating up an offering from the excellent traiteur a few steps away from the front door. Phillipe gave us a warm welcome despite our 10pm arrival and was an excellent host. Thank you providing us with such a perfect pied a terre for our visit.
