House adjoining that of the owners, but completely independent and isolated, along the river Cèze, in a classified environment NATURA2000. Many species of birds reign there and fishing is appreciated there. The town of Saint-Ambroix is part of the Cévennes Park and its city center is only 1 km from the cottage. Many hikers meet there. Canoeing, kayaking, biking, climbing are the favorite sports of our territory as well as the discovery of extraordinary natural sites (Grotte Chauvet - La Cocalière - Aven d'Orgnac - La Salamandre - Vallon Pont d'Arc etc.) at the foot of the Cevennes in discover

Geweldige vakantiewoning in Saint Ambroix
Wij hebben deze vakantiewoning twee weken in het hoogseizoen gehuurd. De prijs voor 4 personen is het meer dan waard.De woning is voorzien van twee badkamers en een apart toilet op de benedenverdieping.Het geheel ziet er uitstekend en goed onderhouden uit. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en is vrij ruim. Het zwembad (overdekt met aan de zijkant rolschuifdeuren voor in de zomer) is groot te noemen en goed onderhouden. Ongeveer 6 maal 12 meter. De eigenaren ( Edith en Michel)die er naast wonen zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zijn zelfs bereid om met handen en voeten en Engels te communiceren . Ook waren wij blij verrast om tweemaal te worden uitgenodigd door hen voor een aperitief met heerlijke hapjes.
Kortom deze vakantie is ons bijzonder goed bevallen en voor herhaling vatbaar. Want in de omgeving van Ambroix is nog veel te bezichtigen. ( Vallon pont d’ Arc, vele grottencomplexen, cascades de Saudadet, oude stadjes zoals bijv. Montclus en Balazuc, diverse markten, voor de liefhebber kanotochten op de rivier Ardeche, enz.)

Nous avons été extrêmement heureux de leur visite, de leur appréciation, de leur gentillesse et de la gaieté dont ils font preuve. Ce sont des gens très agréables, qu'il fait bon avoir comme amis et que l'on souhaite revoir, évidemment. Nous les recommandons vivement auprès d'autres hôtes. De plus, ils ont laissé le gîte très propre. Notre gîte a été créé pour nouer des liens et faire connaissance avec des familles comme celle de Hans. Le pari est réussi.
