The Paddle House: Riverfront, Rafts, Ultimate Game Room, Hot Tub, Yard Games!

Stunning custom post and beam home that sits on the edge of the Androscoggin River in Bethel. This private retreat offers an array of unparalleled amenities, ensuring your vacation is filled with endless enjoyment.

The home boasts 6 bedrooms consisting of a grand family suite with a king and 3 twins, a second suite with a queen, two private queen rooms, and a bunk wing with two bedrooms. A formal dining room with a custom built table just off the kitchen has a seat for everyone. Relax after dinner around the fire and enjoy a game on the giant scrabble board. 2 separate media rooms with surround sound are available. 75” Samsung TV in upstairs Media Room w/ seating for 14 people, additional Media Room with 65” TV in downstairs.

For those who prefer a little more action than relaxing to a flic, the "Gamerz" room offers 3 synced PlayStations each with individual monitors to create the ultimate competitive gaming experience.

Or hang out in the game room for endless entertainment with Pingpong, Pool Table, Golden Tee Golf & shuffleboard as well as a 55" TV so you won't miss the game.

Winter: The home is ~10 minutes to Sunday River for some of the best skiing on the East. If the ski conditions aren’t up to par, enjoy some fun on the ice rink. You can throw on your boots and play a game of Paddleball with our paddleball gear. Bring your snowmobiles for endless trail riding on the ITS or pack the Xcountry ski and snowshoes and head out on an exhilarating trek along the river. Trails can also be found directly across from the driveway! (Rink is installed 12/1 each year. It will be filled with water when we have 5 consecutive days of freezing weather)

Summer: The possibilities feel endless. The private setting with massive yard and outdoor games will keep you busy with fun. Play volleyball, throw horse shoes or enjoy a game of cornerhole by the river. If you’re itching for adventure, head up river 6 miles to the Gilead Bridge where you can launch your canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, or booze barge and lazily float back to the house.

To say The Paddle House is prepared for anything is an understatement. The kitchen was stocked with enough place settings and dishes to handle our group of 11 without an issue. A lot of thought went into the needs and comfort of its guests. I would absolutely book this place again. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Communication with host was wonderful. This was our 3rd stay at the Paddle House. We have done Summer, Winter, and now late Fall. House is a great fit for our three generation group of 16-18 people. Quality of amenities is outstanding. Plenty for everyone to do. Beautiful area and setting. Large meals are a breeze with the kitchen and dining table set up! Would highly recommend this house to others!

Three generations, ages 2-72 enjoyed the property. There was something for everyone. We played volleyball. The dads kayaked on the River, the older kids played waffle ball, fished on the River and used the game rooms in the evening. We enjoyed the fire pit every day and had family supper’s together at the huge dinner table. It was a great family experience. We also got great weather.

Great stay in Maine! Home is equipped with everything you could think of needing, from trash bags to extra toilet paper. Plenty of activities to do outside and inside the property. River is a bit too rapid to use kayaks, but can launch kayaks up river and float back to house.

Just as great as advertised! We went up to paddle house for a bachelor party weekend and it was amazing! We had 16 guys and there was a bed for everyone and plenty of room. The ultimate game room and bar area were great for football on Sunday and the 2 firepits out back got used every night along with the full volleyball ball court and 2 horseshoe pits. The hot tub along the river was great too especially with all the outdoor lighting. Cant say enough great things about this property and host. Thanks Amanda!!!
