Laurel Valley Lodge- Pet Friendly | Outdoor Fire Pit & Fireplace | Game Room
Reasons to Book: Sweeping mountain and valley views in the Aska Adventure Area One of the few five-bedroom cabins in North Georgia, ideal for large groups Wraparound decks with sunken hot tub, grill, and outdoor entertaining spaces Distinctive rustic design with handcrafted, nature-inspired details Peaceful setting with frequent wildlife sightings and serene surroundings
Laurel Valley Lodge is named for the mountain laurel covering the valley it overlooks. Approach this beautiful mountain retreat in springtime and you'll see pink and white blossoms around the cabin and throughout the valley below. Here, you'll enjoy spectacular mountain views, and your location in the popular Aska Adventure Area puts you close to everything. One of the few five-bedroom cabins in the North Georgia Mountains, this spacious lodge is ideal for large groups, family gatherings, holidays and business retreats. Good times are sure to 'blossom' here among the laurels!
The living room will welcome you with its cathedral ceiling and enormous iron chandelier. Sink into the leather sofa to watch a movie, or curl up in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. Unique accents will delight you, from the twisted bark branch table and bird's nest lamp to the wood-carved guest book.
And each room is imbued with charm, with tongue and groove wood throughout, hickory branch furniture, Middle Eastern rugs and rustic fixtures. Seasonal garland and arrangements celebrate nature's beauty all year, including a small Christmas tree at the holidays; harvest decorations in autumn; and ivy, birds and flowers during spring and summer.
The upstairs loft offers a recreation room with a view. Play pool on the hand-carved billiards table, or have a drink at the hickory pub table while enjoying vistas of the mountain range and laurel blooming below.
The second living room downstairs makes a great hangout for the kids. On rainy days, they'll love watching movies or playing board games in front of the cozy fireplace.
Whether a holiday feast or Super Bowl snacks, you'll have everything you need to entertain in this fully equipped kitchen, featuring custom cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless appliances and gourmet cookware.
The main level's huge wraparound deck is perfect for outdoor entertaining. Grill the Georgia trout caught earlier from the Toccoa, and share stories around the decks. On the lower deck, relax under the stars in the sunken hot tub or enjoy a nightcap on the Adirondack chairs.
Fascinating wildlife frolics outside your door. Bring some bird food, fill the feeders, and pour water in the birdbath, and you will be visited by a variety of colorful birds. Flying squirrels will also eat the bird food at night — grab your flashlight and watch them fly from tree to tree. You may also spot some deer, or even a bear!
Each bedroom has its own theme, with hand-quilted bedding and variations of cedar and knotty pine. The 'Crow's Nest' bedroom is closest to the stars, reflected in the room's star theme — and in your views from its walkout porch. The main floor master has a twisted branch king bed and designer bedding. Indulge in a movie under the covers, or watch for flying squirrels from your private balcony. Also, there are two queen suites on the top floor loft area with its own bathroom. On the lower level, you'll find a bedroom with a king bed and second bedroom with two full beds, perfect for children or single people.
Whether you're seeking rest or play, this spacious retreat will provide a wonderful vacation experience for you, your family and friends. Happy memories of your stay at Laurel Valley Lodge will bloom and grow for years to come!

Our trip couldn’t have been any better. The cabin was immaculate, everything was made even easier by the owners guest manual. Definitely would stay again.

Thank you for your lovely review and for staying with us at Laurel Valley Lodge. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to hosting you again soon.
The Laurel Valley Lodge was perfect for my large family stay! The home is beautiful and everyone was extremely comfortable as the home is large and well appointed with its five comfortable bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out and the loft pool room was loads of fun. The main level is super cozy and the three fireplaces were fantastic! The outdoor space is HUGE and the fire pit is a great area to spend time at. The home was extremely clean and Pamela and everyone at Escape to Blue Ridge was very responsive and super polite. I’d have to say this may have been the best experience I’ve had.

Thank you for staying with us and for your lovely review of Laurel Valley Lodge. We are delighted your family enjoyed their stay—especially the loft game room! We look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future.
Nine friends travelled to Blue Ridge this past week. Some had visited the area before; some had not. All had a wonderful time. The canine had so much space and yet we could all eat and visit together in the open area of the kitchen and great room.

The cabin was great for 9 people, plenty of space for all of us. Best part of the cabin is the deck. It is huge and they have a very nice fire pit. The town is also close, which for us was a big plus.

Thank you so much for your review! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay, and wow! A bear sighting is a rare and special appearance! We hope to host you again soon!
This cabin was every bit as spacious and beautiful as the pics portrayed it to be. The layout is such that with 9 people we never felt crowded and all had her own [private personal space to retreat to in the evening. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. It came in handy that the covered deck wraps around 3/4 of the cabin since it rained for 2 1/2 days it enabled us to still be outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air. I wish we could have figured out the gas fireplace as we had several nights we would have like to enjoy them but that is likely on us. Everything about this was a pleasure including the management company and I look forward to staying here again.

Thank you for staying with us! We are glad you enjoyed your getaway. We can't wait to see you again!
The Cabin was very comfortable for our family. Location is great pretty close to town. Unfortunately the propane was out in both fireplaces in the house after a day. The grill didn't even have a propane bottle at all. Kitchen didn't even have coffee filters or salt and pepper shakers. No laundry soap either. Usually when we stay at a place you have some supplies. The listing should at least mention that you have to bring everything.
The cabin is beautiful, clean, close to downtown, and provided ample room for our five couples to celebrate a birthday weekend. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to cook several meals, inside and on the gas grill. The indoor fireplaces kept us nice and cozy with large windows to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately we were unable to use the outdoor fireplace, as it was in need of repair. While that was a great disappointment, we are thankful the property was thoroughly inspected before our arrival and notified us before we attempted to light it. We did enjoy a campfire in the very nice and well lit fire pit. The porches and deck were huge and very clean. Although the outdoor temps were too close to 0 degrees for us to brave the hot tub, we did peek and it looked to comfortably seat 8 people and set at 100 degrees. Overall it was a great cabin and definitely recommend for large parties.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us for such an important celebration! We are happy to hear that the home accommodated all of you well and that you do recommend it for large parties. We thank you for sharing this review and we hope to host all of you again soon!
This is a lovely home in a convenient location for all that Blue Ridge has to offer. The rules are spelled out and easy to follow. The management team gives excellent information prior to the stay to make it easy to enter the home, what to do in Blue Ridge, and what you will need to make your stay easy. Our only issue was with the main living room and master bedroom televisions, To be fair, when I called upon arrival to report the issues, a representative came promptly to rectify the situation. She was very pleasant and worked hard to correct the issues. When she left everything seemed to be in working order. This didn’t last long, and we were without television in the living room and without volume control in the MBR. I did not call back for help, as we didn’t want to be tethered to the house for repeated service calls. Therefore, I can’t blame the management company since they were unaware of our continuing problem. Maybe it gave us a chance to engage with each other, play some board games we brought with us, and enjoy the nature right off of the beautiful deck! All in all, I would recommend this home for anyone staying in the Blue Ridge area.

Thank you so much for your review! I am sorry about those TV issues, we will send a member of our team to correct this issue for future guests. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay otherwise! We hope to host you again soon!
We did a quick 3 night stay for a quick girls getaway. The house was great and close to town to do lunch & shopping one day.
Had a few issues with getting the hot tub warm enough to enjoy during snowy temps, the oven didn’t work very well, it would only get to about 375 degrees and that was after being on for about 45 mins. We had issues with keeping the fireplaces going, I think the issue is the gas lines in the house because the fireplaces and the stove were both gas.
Make sure you bring absolutely everything you need, they don’t have any tupperware to store leftover food, no baggies, foil or saran wrap, needed laundry detergent, no spices or anything in the house so just know, you must bring or buy everything you need.
Also, we could’ve used big hot tub towels so pool towels might be something you want to add. We had to use the bath towels, then had no detergent so ran short on towels.
The management company was very response to questions and needs. All in all, we would rent again.

This cabin was perfect for our family! We had plenty of space for for each family in our group of 12. The kids had a blast running around on the big porch and deck. We had no complaints and definitely would rent it again! It is even better than we expected.
This property is absolutely awesome! Our group has stayed in several cabins located in the North Ga Mountains and this property is by far one of the best! There were 10 in our group and it was the perfect size. One BIG PLUS - The beds are all Comfy! Nice mattresses on all beds, no complaints! The hot tub and fire pit were fabulous!
Thank you for hosting such a great property! We will definitely look at renting this cabin again!
We had a family gathering at the Laurel Valley Lodge and it was our best vacation so far. This spacious enough to be with family and still have our own "alone time" to relax and enjoy nature.
This was super clean. Kitchen had all we needed (good quality utensils and appliances). Beds are super comfortable - linen is great. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We wish we had more time to spend and enjoy this beautiful property.
Management was prompt when called for questions.

The house and property is beautiful. The only problem we had was the temperature inside the house. The main floor was perfect , the bottom floor was freezing and the top floor was hot. We felt like the three bears trying to find the best place to sleep. Sadly we where unable to use the top floor at all, except for playing pool and bathing . The bottom was to cold to bath young children. We had hoped for our children to have a floor for their families, but because of the temperature differences, that didn't work out.
