Great location. Quiet area. Short drive to Matagorda Bay and Palacios. It is great for nature lovers and people wanting a quiet place to veg out. If you are looking for more "resort type" may not be for you.

Please tell the person in charge of cleaning to vacuum up the dog hair from under the furniture, under the beds, and around the windows. Everything was great, and it is a very lovely house.

Great vacation. Address was a little confusing and house didn’t have consumable essentials (coffee, foil, plastic wrap, etc) and only a few indoor game options. But overall happy with the house and our stay.

This is a beautiful beachfront house, and our 10-day stay was simply delightful! The pictures show exactly what you can expect when you arrive. The house is just as charming in person. The decoration is lovely, with shells, starfish, and beach-themed touches throughout the rooms that really make you get immediately in your beach-vacation mood.Everything we needed was there, and all the appliances were in good working condition. The Wi-Fi was also fast and reliable. While some things in the house are not brand new, we actually felt that this added to its charm. It has a “lived-in and loved” feeling that makes the house cozy, comfortable, and welcoming.Of course, the beachfront location is the highlight! The deck is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and watch the sunrise over the water. During the warmer parts of the day, you can simply relax on the couch and enjoy the view of the ocean through the large glass doors.And your furry babies are welcome too! We traveled with our two cats. It’s hard to think of a better way to spend a vacation. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. A wonderful place for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway!

This house was everything it promised and more. Perfect location, spacious, clean house threw out. Checking in and out were very simple and communication was always quick. Hope to return next year for another amazing beach vacation

I wasn’t going to post a review because I was just going to brush it off but since we are being charged for something we didn’t even do I’m posting. This place was dirty, the toilet had hair all over it when we arrived, sand in the beds. The sliding doors are so hard to open they almost come off of the track. Bring extra trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels because what they give you doesn’t last. Also they have you wash dry and fold the towels so you better bring laundry soap because they don’t supply that.

My initial sensory hit upon entering this Vrbo was 'quiet' & 'peaceful.' Windows are abundant in this Vrbo, ALL with great views of the coastal waters and nature. There aren't any homes nearby, I mean, there are neighbors, but there is ample space between the homes. We found everything needed in the kitchen to prepare the food we brought with us. The indoor and outdoor table seating offered options depending on the sun's angle and temp.

Beach get away!

We loved Cheryl’s beach house and are definitely coming back!!! The sunsets are phenomenal and the weather was just right, this vacation was highly needed and helped us unwind and just tune in with the sea gods lol Loved every bit of her house!

House was wonderfully located on beach, so nice to just sit on deck and watch the waves crash in. House was very well appointed everything we needed. We had a supermoon to watch come up a couple days. We collected a ton of Sea beans and shells we like to collect. neighborhood was so quiet and peace full.. Favorite spot on the Coast

Eighth year to stay at this house.....great views of the Gulf from the porch with a short walk across the yard to the beach .....my favorite part - no crowds!
