Located at the end of a private road and surrounded by trees you will enjoy the private in the park feeling that attracts so many people to the great smoky mountains. Relax on your own private deck and listed to the mountain spring waterfall. Gather with family in the great room with piano or relax together and watch a movie in the private theater room. Shoot a game of pool or play a game on the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back arcade game.

The cabin has 4 bedrooms - 1 is a bunk room for the kids. Prepare in cabin meals in your upgraded kitchen with granite counter tops.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Hot tub is a nice feature but very small and not level. Love the location far enough away for privacy but still close enough to town. Could have been cleaned a little better (cobwebs inside and dust bunnies in the corners. Needs more trash cans outside or more frequent trash pickup.

There is a very accessible grocery store. Management responded quickly and efficiently to a maintenance issue, late one evening. Fun house with lots to do for all guest ages. Well stocked. All general areas (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) were clean, but the cabin could have benefited from a deep clean, as dust gathered in corners and door frames.

Secluded and Quiet

The cabin was clean and spacious. The communication was excellent. We found, for us, that the children did not have an outdoor play space and creek to play in that the pictures had shown. The creek was only a trickle and the surroundings not conducive for kids play. That’s really on us. The pictures were accurate, we just miss interpreted what we saw. We recommend this place for sure.

Amazing Family Get Together

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I live in Florida and my family lives in Illinois and Indiana. We met for a relaxing family vacation. We all had a great time. From the fires at the fire pit to relaxing in the hot tub after a day of seeing the sights around town, we could not have had a better time. We had a barbeque one day and stayed at the cabin to play games and lounge around another day. There was so much to do. I wish we had more time to enjoy everything there was to do. We didn't even get a chance to enjoy a movie in the theater room.

Woodsy, Mountain Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I loved the location of this house. If you are looking for seclusion this is it! We did not hear any of the neighbors but could occasionally hear the road down below. There was plenty of space for everyone. The beds were all comfortable. It was nice to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked however there was not a lot of space to put things you brought from home. The stove top wasn’t the best as we had trouble with one of the burners. The jetted bathtubs overall were a nice bonus but only one of them worked properly. The hot tub was not very warm. The locations was great because it wasn’t super far from everything. It took about 20 minutes or so to reach the main attractions in downtown Gatlinburg.

Beautiful Location, beautiful home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience with this rental, it was as described and clean. We wanted multiple en suites which is what drew us to this home. The only issues we had were with the remotes and the use of the various TV's, you weren't sure if batteries were dead or if you just didn't know how to work the TV's. The instruction booklet seemed to be generic for all rentals not the specific home we were at. Specific directions for each room would have been very helpful! Some firewood should have been included. Even in this review you use the firepit as an attraction, very disappointed that there was not firewood to at least have one fire without going to purchase wood on your own. Or if that would have been listed, we would have brought firewood with us! We came in a pick up truck, it would have been easy.

I will never stay with Elk Springs Resort again. The listing said there were five king beds--I could only locate 3. Then they were sending me texts all weekend--I was driving most of the day and they kept wanting to know when I was arriving--They needed me to complete the reservation process which is hard to do on a phone in the car while driving. Then they gave us the wrong code, to get in the house. They told us our check in would be delayed by 2.5 hours! That was very inconvenient. Then they gave us the wrong code to get in. All weekend, they kept texting me things like please contact maintenance with any issues, etc. It was so annoying! Ruined my weekend.

Reviewer Comments: The cabin was definitely in the woods and way up in the mountains...the road there was very steep. It was a very private location. Each room had its own bathroom which was nice. We weren't impressed with the cleanliness of the home...layers of dust everywhere and tack strips showing on the floors in places. Kids kept getting bleeding toes from stepping on them. The outdoor table was in pretty bad shape too...pictures also made it look like the creek was right at the house. Not the case very hard to get to it. Overall, it fit us but as a owner of a vacation home this one honestly needs some tender lovely care before I would go back. It would also be nice to have a few more things in the house like an ice cream scoop and a hair dryer.

Secluded, Beautiful, Perfect for A Girl's Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is beautiful and secluded. Access was easy and the mountain roads were in great condition, well marked, and easy to navigate. It's well located, about 20 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and the edge of Pigeon Forge - it really made it easy to enjoy the best of both communities.The property was very clean and very well maintained. The fire pit and hot tub are very nice and we enjoyed both. There is a beautiful additional deck that overlooks a small creek and was a great spot to enjoy coffee in the morning surrounded by nature.We particularly enjoyed that each bathroom has it's own jacuzzi tub and that there was plenty of hot water for everyone. Beds were comfortable and everyone had their own private space to retreat to at the end of the day.There was a lot of bear activity around the cabin. We were very careful not to leave anything outside that could draw interest, but forgot to lock one of the cars one evening and returned home to find the door open and a bottle of Coke exploded inside of the car with obvious bear prints all over the other vehicles. This was our oversight - but we didn't leave any of the cars unlocked after that. During our Thursday-Sunday stay, we saw a bear 3 times from the front porch.

It’s a worn down cabin, but still a good trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Started out with lots of concerns as there were some broken items when we arrived (including the dishwasher top rack was completely busted off the track). However, I will say that their maintenance team was responsive and helpful. I also found it nice that Elk Springs took the time to message me on night 2 just to ask how it was going. I’ve never had that, even with private one-owner cabins. I was even more impressed when we learned from the maintenance tech how many cabins ES owns. To have that type of one-to-one contact is impressive for the size of the rental company.More about the cabin... like I said, it’s worn down. But still nice. I love how secluded it is being at the very end of the street. We unfortunately did not get to enjoy the outdoor features (firepit and stream side table) as the remnants of Hurricane Ian rolled in after night 1. I imagine enjoying those features would definitely make the overall value for this cabin to par. I don’t know that I’d choose this cabin again, but I will 100% make Elk Springs my first destination when looking for the next trip!

Very poor quality

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was dirty upon arrival. The sheets and comforters had what seemed to be blood stains on them. There was a leak from the hot water heater than ran downstairs to the wash room. Also in the game room area it smelled like feet. The showers weren’t clean and the tub had dust and spider webs. The main flood bedroom off of the kitchen had a black bear above the bed that was full of dusts! We’ve used Elk Springs in the past but this one was absolutely terrible. Not all the tv’s worked. The outdoor grill was covered in bird poop and had not been clean looked like ever. We had to call for maintenance several s times and over it was not a good sleeping experience for the amount we paid to stay there.

Our stay at Elk Springs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 16 family members that comfortably stayed in the StoneBrooke Lodge. It was roomy, clean, had essentials needed in kitchen, and beds were all queen /king size!! Our kids enjoyed the piano and hot tub. We made S’mores at fire pit. I contacted maintenance 3x and they arrived in timely manner and very pleasant/helpful. We were given wrong code to get into cabin, but staff responded quickly with correct #. The theatre room bed was missing sheets and help arrived within the hour! We also rec’d help with DVD player. On our last day, we needed more water in spa and help arrived within 1/2 hr. I pointed out that all the jets were not working. The biggest issue was that there was no internet! 😩 per ad. (1 thing I would change—The website shows a stream running down mt. at back of cabin. You cannot get to it and it is not as picturesque as website makes it look. Foliage may be taking over since pic was taken). This was one of the most reasonable cabins I found without a pool! We would stay here again.
