Enjoyed the uniqueness of the cabin. A true cabin! The place was perfect for us and out needs. Very convenient snd easy to find. We like the idea of having neighbors closeby . We had a great time !
It’s a nice log home, one caveat - no blinds… you’re are on display all evening ;)) I highly recommend the owner to add blinds in the living room to allow guests privacy while staying. Other than that place has what you need while staying at the property.
5 stars! We had the best time on our 5 day vacation! Nine adults and one baby were very comfortable. It was very clean and well appointed. Great location! Easy check-in and out… We didn’t have to do anything when we left which was so nice!
A few suggestions:
If the cabin advertises that it can accommodate 12 people, although with five queen beds and a futon I would say it can reasonably sleep 11, there should be seating for dining and in the living room for that many. There are currently only six kitchen chairs, even though there is a large square kitchen table that with the leaf could accommodate eight, with room for two more at the island. There’s also only one sofa and one loveseat, which means there is only seating for five in the living room. There is room to add a big sectional sofa which is what the living room needs so you don’t need to take kitchen chairs into the living room or bring your own camp chairs to have enough seating. There is a large trashcan just outside the front door on the deck which is emptied daily which is wonderful. However the kitchen only has a tiny trashcan. A large kitchen trashcan at the end of the island would be much more convenient for a group our size or larger if the cabin was at capacity.
Activities: float Big Springs on a raft rented from Mack’s Inn, attend the local Yellowstone Playhouse dinner theater which is an ABSOLUTE A+ AND MUST DO, kayak Box Canyon, & attend the local rodeo.
We will absolutely be back!!
From booking to check out the communication was prompt. The cabin was very clean and nicely stocked. We enjoyed our stay here and will do so again if in the area.
Very nice cabin location coming out of Yellowstone. Store, restaurant & bar. We just stayed the nite
We really like this property. Wish we would have stayed 1 more night. A black hound dog about 6 or 8 months old greeted us in the morning as we were leaving. Hope her owners were close. We left on our motorcycles before the store opened.
Would highly recommend. It fit 6 of us very comfortably.
Good location with a spacious cabin. Appreciated the daily trash service and laundry facility. We did run out of hot water so we just staggered showers for our group. (With 3 bathrooms it was great to have the space for all to try to get ready - next time maybe quicker showers?) Clean and easy check in. We would stay again.
Very nice place to stay. Would recommend anyone looking at this property to go ahead and book your reservation. The house was very clean, beds comfortable and has plenty of room for are 6 adult party.
It was a cute log house rustic and charming . The location was about 30 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone. Big plus was the restaurant that is walking distance from the house with good food and a very good servers.
Check-in was very easy.
The only con was with 6 people showering around the same time we did run low on hot water.
Don't let that spot you from renting this wonderful house.
Would recommend the cabin without hesitation. Was very clean and well stocked. 2 bedrooms on the main floor with one upstairs in the loft area. Plenty of room for 8 adults. It is a 40 min drive into West Yellowstone.
This was our first stay in island park. It was a beautiful place and we're already trying to plan another stay here this year. And to schedule an annual stay.
My wife and I took her elderly parents on a 2,000 mile road trip through national parks in Wyoming and Montana. This was a modern, beautiful, clean, wonderful place to stay with our family. The check-in process was easy. The property was scenic and clean. We were able to relax, cook and do laundry while there. Check-out was just as easy. If we are ever back we would love to stay again.
This is probably the cleanest vrbo we have ever rented.
It was immaculate. Location is ideal, although it is close to a highway and there was some noise from the road. Many hiking trails close by as well as several state parks, which we did visit. Each room has its own thermostat so we could choose our own comfort levels. Kitchen was stocked with anything you need and was very very clean. We used the crock pot one night and made homemade beef stew! The restaurants around Island Park are expensive and not very impressive, so we opted to cook breakfast and dinner , packing a lunch for the road most days. Very large grill, clean, and we used it several nights. This
unit is in a small log cabin development, but we didn't mind that. Our only complaint is the seating in the living room was old.
This is a stunning cabin and a new sectional with some extra recliners
would suit such a grand rental. The porch is a wrap around with a table. We were extremely happy with this rental and would rent this in a heartbeat.
We were so excited to stay in this home at the end of our trip and we were NOT disappointed. The hope was well appointed, comfortable, beautiful and has a really fabulous deck! My husband, parents and I really enjoyed our stay!
