This property is gondola in/gondola out. The neighborhood of Shock Hill sits between the middle of Main Street Breckenridge and the base of the ski area (Peaks 7 and 8) and is one of the most convenient and preferred locations to stay in all of Breckenridge. The gondola runs right through the neighborhood taking you to and from the ski area base and down to the middle of Main Street. Incredible sweeping mountain views from both the upper deck area and the main level patio. Enjoy conversation around the fire pit while taking in "Majestic" mountain views!
Getting Around:
Get around via the Breck Connect gondola which will take you to and from town as well as to and from the base of the ski area. Uber services are also readily available or walk to and from Main Street (about 1/2 mile). There is rarely a line or crowds at this gondola station. Once you load onto the gondola, you are at the base of Peak 7 in 4 minutes and the base of peak 8 in 5 minutes. Please note: The Breckenridge Gondola opens for the Winter season right around November 8th every year and operates daily from 7:45am to 5:30pm during winter months. The gondola does also not run end of April to mid June during moose calving season. The gondola reopens mid June and runs through Labor Day weekend. The hours of operation during the summer are 10am to 5pm. The gondola is free to ride for everyone. You do not need a pass.

Literally steps from the gondola (up to peak 7 & 8 and down to town). The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes or wandering around Main Street. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.
Overall we had a nice stay. The house was clean, but very dusty- I think it needs a thorough cleaning. The location is great (we have rented another home in the neighborhood, and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. The part I didn’t love was that we were responsible for all the trash, and housekeeping. Our previous experience renting these types of homes is that there is a daily housekeeping service to help tidy up and refresh items as necessary.

We had a blast this week in Breckenridge. The house was exactly as stated and very well layed out. Proximity to the gondula is spot on. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Breck.

We had another amazing week in this fabulous home. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to vacation in Breckenridge. We had 6 adults & two teenagers in our group & no one was ready to leave. We will stay here again if we get the chance
We have been coming to Breckenridge for an annual ski trip for the last 5 years. This is the best place we have stayed so far. Beautiful home, extremely convenient to the gondola and to town. The home has everything you could ever need and more and the communication with property owners/managers is excellent. We hope to be able to stay here again.
With a group of 5 guys, all over 45, the house was perfect for our needs. The communication prior to arrival allowed us to have a flawless check in. The location was easy to find and no issues getting inside. The home had everything you need, and more. For us the hot tub was clean with chemicals balanced. We used the grill as well as both fire pits each evening, no issues at all. The location is perfect to take a hike or head down to town. The beauty in the AM as well as PM is beyond belief. I would love to come back during ski season as you could store all supplies and walk 10 steps to the gondola.
The Majestic is awesome !!!!! Very luxurious. The layout was spacious and perfect for our group. It is perfectly situated between the town of Breckenridge and the base of Peaks 7 & 8. We loved it and will book the same unit if and when we return.
Not only was the house beautiful but it’s location was very convenient. JT and Fonda were very responsive and even helped us out with recommendations and a rental car problem we had. Would definitely book here again!
The house was the perfect location so that we could get to the slopes easily from the gondola. The amenities the house offered were all much appreciated and everyone had a fantastic time in the house as well as on the mountain. We loved the large windows that showed off the picturesque view all the time too! Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and hang out spaces for everyone and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to enjoy our ski vacation!
For Thanksgiving we stayed at the Majestic for a week. We had everything we absolutely needed to enjoy our stay and we thoroughly did so. Restaurants were closed for inside dining so we made the majority of our meals at the house. We had every appliance and pan needed. The double ovens and gas stove were used almost daily. The setup of the rooms was great with having three kids under the age of 8. They had the bunk room and the TV downstairs so the adults could be in the middle level and all be separated. You are steps away from the gondola to go skiing or to town as well as being near the nordic trails. I couldn't have been happier with this house and especially with everything going on today. We look forward to coming back.
