Very nicely renovated gite

We stayed in Manuela's gite for 2 weeks in July 2017. It is really just a 5-10 min walk from a very pretty beach. The gite is well furnished, if you are a fan ook cooking the kitchen is complete. The bathroom downstairs is small but functional and up-to-date. The Wifi is good, but don't count on using your mobilephone for telephonecalls, unless you call someone via WhatsApp, because there is no reception, (the village is in a valley) which btw was no problem for us at all. The terrace & garden is very nice, with a lawn for your dog to run around on and it is also completely enclosed. The only thing we missed were sunbeds to relax on ;) We loved staying in the small village of Saint Jean du Doigt with its church & small groceryshop practically right next door. The cosy town of Plougasnou is just a 5 min drive for further shopping. Our daughter took surfing lessons at Surfing Plougasnou at the beach in Primel-Trégastel. There are plenty of sight-seeing and outdoor things to do in the area, but if you feel like staying at home, just stay in Manuela's lovely gite!

Les photos de l’annonce ainsi que le classement de l’hébergement donnent envie, mais la réalité est malheureusement tout autre. Dès l’entrée, on arrive directement dans la cuisine, puis dans la salle de bain et les toilettes situées au rez-de-chaussée, alors que les chambres sont à l’étage, ce qui n’est pas précisé.Le canapé et les fauteuils sont très usés et inconfortables. La literie l’est également. Merci pour le surmatelas, mais il n’améliore que très peu le confort. Une fenêtre du salon ne peut pas être ouverte car il manque la poignée. Le Wi-Fi est de mauvaise qualité et les couverts sont rangés dans la salle à manger plutôt que dans la cuisine.À l’extérieur, la terrasse n’était pas propre, l’herbe était haute et les transats sont davantage adaptés à des enfants qu’à des adultes. Le vis-à-vis n’est pas mentionné, les marches du jardin sont dangereuses et les cloches de l’église sonnent dès 8 h du matin.Le parking est pratique, mais les spectacles organisés par la mairie attirent beaucoup de monde, ce qui complique le stationnement. Dommage que tous ces éléments ne soient pas indiqués dans l’annonce afin que les voyageurs puissent réserver en toute transparence.

Bonjour - nous sommes désolés que ces points aient impacté votre séjour. Pour les futurs voyageurs, je préciserai juste que l'entrée se fait effectivement par la cuisine, mais donne ensuite sur le séjour - salle à manger : l'espace douche - WC est effectivement au RDC également, mais à l'écart, séparés par un couloir. Les maisons anciennes ne laissent pas toujours pleine latitude dans l'aménagement des espaces. Je précise également que la literie du lit concerné est neuve, et non usagée, contrairement à ce que votre commentaire pourrait laisser entendre. Et nous l'avons complétée pendant votre séjour par un surmatelas pour en améliorer encore le confort. Les gîtes présentent ensuite le charme de la campagne, ce qui implique effectivement les cloches de l'église (qui s'arrêtent de 22h à 8h), un wifi qui peut être aléatoire mais fonctionne correctement la majorité du temps (nous sommes sinon réactifs pour contacter le fournisseur si une panne survient), et le choix d'un jardin vivant plutôt qu'un espace aseptisé, tracé à angles droits. Nous tenons compte dans tous les cas des retours de chacun de nos locataires (qui sont très rarement négatifs) pour continuer à offrir un espace confortable et agréable.

Saint Jean du Doigt, die Kirche im Garten

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen. Ein kleines, sehr kleines Dörfchen, schönes Ambiente, kaum Tourismus, das, was wir suchten. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, gemütliche, saubere Betten, Platz für 6 Leute, super ausgestattete Küche, bestückt mit allem was man benötigt. Eine Waschmaschine nebst Trockner steht in einem kleinen Anbau in Vorgarten. Eine kleine Terrasse und ein schöner Garten mit tollem Rasen und Pflanzen. Komplett eingezäunt, somit entspannt mit unserem Hund. Die Rue de la Plage, im handumdrehen am wunderschönen Strand. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir konnten sogar das Meer vor dem Haus rauschen hören. Die Umgebung war sehr gemütlich und ruhig, ein wirklich sehr gutes Restaurant im Ort, donnerstags ein kleiner Markt, ein kleines Café und ein kleiner Laden mit einer ausreichenden Auswahl an wichtigen Dingen. Wunderschön anzusehen, ist die mächtige alte Kirche, die gefühlt im Garten steht. Sie läutet um 8.00 Uhr morgens das erste mal und um 22.00 Uhr das letzte mal. Somit überhaupt nicht störend und für uns ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Kommunikation mit der Hauseigentümerin, Manuela , war sehr gut. Rundherum ein super Urlaub für uns und wir kommen wieder.

Séjour août 2023 à 4 adultes et 1 enfant.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le village est charmant. L'accès à la mer à pieds bien appréciable. La maison est très agréable, le jardin et la terrasse sécurisés... on s'y sent chez soi et il y a tout ce qu'il faut, rien ne manque. Le parking devant l'entrée est très pratique. Manuela nous a accueillis avec beaucoup d'attention. Parfait.

Très bon séjour dans ce coin de Bretagne que nous apprécions. Nous avons été bien accueillis. La maison était très propre, très bien équipée. On a apprécié le jardin. Attention, les draps ne sont pas fournis - ou alors sont loués en plus pour la durée du séjour.

Un joli jardin sous l'oeil protecteur de l'église de Saint Jean du doigt (dont la cloche ne sonne pas la nuit 😉) . Des pièces spacieuses et bien équipées. beaucoup de plages et de belles choses à voir toutes proches. tout était réuni pour passer de super vacances

So traumhaft

Tolle Unterkunft, tolle Vermieter. Das Gebäude ist außen alt und innen prima renoviert. Die Einrichtung ist kein zusammengeräumter Resterampekram , sondern geschmackvoll mit IKEA eingerichtet. Zuhause haben wir andere Möbel, aber in dieser Unterkunft haben wir uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Die Küche hat alles was es braucht, sie ist Zugang in die Unterkunft. Hinter ihr liegt das geräumige Ess - und Wohnzimmer, mit Flur, kleinem Bad und separater Toilette ist das Erdgeschoss.die zentrale Ebene für's Familienleben. Im OG und DG sind die Schlafzimmer, teils feste, teils weichere Matratzen. Wer vor der erste Juliwoche kommt hat viel Ruhe, kaum andere Touristen und auch kaum französische Gäste. Entsprechend leer sind die Strände in der Umgebung.

Une escapade unique

Un séjour ressourçant dans cette belle maison au calme, la maison est très bien située pour pouvoir rayonner à pied dans les alentours et en voiture pour découvrir la région. Manuéla nous a accueilli avec soin et attention, la maison s’avère parfaitement conforme à la description, il y a tout l’équipement nécessaire pour cuisiner ! Allez-y les yeux fermés.

Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem schön eingerichteten Haus genossen. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Atmosphäre mit Blick auf die Kirche und der Garten sind wunderschön. Im Ort selbst gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, bei dem auf Vorbestellung Brot und Gemüse eingekauft werden kann.

Une très belle adresse

Le gîte correspond en tous points à l'annonce, il est très confortable et dispose de tous les équipements pour un séjour agréable en famille. Le gîte est situé près de la plage et des commerces. La propriétaire nous a très bien accueillis et la communication avec elle a été fluide. Nous repartons vraiment satisfaits de notre séjour

Magnifique séjour

Parfait pour le calme, la plage accessible à pied, les découvertes et ballades autour du village. La maison est pratique et joliment décorée. Manuela est de plus très sympathique et à l’écoute. Bref nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Vive la Bretagne

Wunderschön idyllisch in klösterlichen Mauern. Das schlagen der Turmuhr , ein bretonischer Rhytmus. Ein kleiner sehr ruhiger Ort mit eigenem Strand und in der Nähe alles zum einkaufen. Typisch Bretagne.

Great house, great location. There's so much to do in this beautiful part of Brittany.

This is a very comfortable and well appointed house. St Jean de Doigt is a lovely little village close to spectacular coves, a great base for exploring.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!

Wir haben zu viert zwei Wochen in dieser Gite verbracht. Vom ersten Moment und der freundlichen Begrüßung an, haben wir uns sehr wohl und fast wie zuhause gefühlt. Schöne helle Räume, praktische Terrasse und ein schöner großer Garten. Für uns und den Hund perfekt! Abgerundet von dem herrlichen Blick auf die Kiche und dem Plätschern des Brunnens. Ein sehr schöner,gut gelegener Ort mit wunderbarem Strand. Die Umgebung bietet so viel, dass wir es in zwei Wochen nicht alles schaffen konnten. Wir wären gerne noch geblieben!
