Our condo was very nice and in a great location.

I would highly recommend this property for a beach vacation. It’s located on the beach and very near restaurants and shopping. Randy and his family were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Condo is located in great central location. Building was kept clean. Only issue was with one of the toilets but it was fixed very quickly after contacting host. We would stay again.

Wonderful Week at the Beach!

Not only was this property clean and well kept but the checkin and checkout directions were clear and easy to follow. It had everything we needed and it was so nice to have an in-unit washer/dryer. We will absolutely be back!

July 4th holiday stay

Overall the property was as expected, clean and great location. Short walk to the beach. Nice view from the balcony…only improvement needed is to move the AC unit off the 2nd floor roof so it doesn’t drown out the sound of the waves. Quick drive to Barefoot Landing and many restaurants, stores and attractions.

The whole complex is out dated. The unit itself was ok but very small and several of the wall sockets were pulled out which made the place look dilapidated. The smell of marijuanna was constant. Could not sit on the balcony because of that. The view was obstructed because of am AC unit on T he building just out side. The beach access was awesome though.

A review should not critique what is known before you arrive, rather than you were not made aware. Our listings are very complete to make sure there are no unknowns. The key is to read the listing before making your choice. Fortunately we do not get many reviews like this. The following response is more for benefit of those considering this property for their vacation rather than for the author of this review. A quick review of this property shows a total of 75 reviews including 3 that are 3 star reviews, 8 that are 4 star, and 64 are 5 star reviews. So, 96% are 4 star ratings or more. When writing a negative review it is important not to critique or criticize things you were aware of from the beginning. This review criticizes three things that are described in the review, the age of building, the size of the condo, and the location of the indoor pool dehumidification unit. All of these are in the listing. The photos show the dehumidification unit and it's proximity to the balcony. Happy Crab Vacations want's people to be "HAPPY" with their choice and our listings are not misleading and do not hide any shortcomings. The other two mentions were electrical outlets and marijuana usage. Many of the outlets are new and all are being replaced. There are a couple instances where the installer needs to come back and secure them into the wall. Yes, he did a poor job. As for smoking. This location is smoke free however humans being humans often ignore the rules. For this reason on each refrigerator there are numbers to call if there are issues, we received no phone calls. Honestly, sometimes there is nothing we can do to stop it but in the case of illegal substances we do call the non emergency police number and they respond and talk to the guest. Laws being what they are, there is not much they can do about it but sometimes it scares them into taking those activities out to their car. If you are looking for a clean, remodeled condo do not let this 1 review scratch this condo from your list.

Great Stay

Our family vacation at Waterpointe was great. I really liked the coded entry which eliminated the need to pick up keys and keep up with them during the week. Beach access was very good including handicap access for my mother. The property/grounds were extremely clean and the property groundskeepers worked diligently all week to keep common areas and bathrooms very clean. The pool area facing the ocean was a nice alternative to the beach. The indoor pool was a plus for the cool days. Parking was ample with a nice loading and unloading zone for 2 vehicles. The room had a nice setup that was well furnished. Beds and bedding were great. AC worked great The only knock against the room was the 3rd bedroom but the ad prepared us for the limited size. The owner was very helpful and friendly with questions.

Great family vacation!

Waterpoint 1 is a wonderful, clean property to stay at. Have been coming to North Myrtle Beach since 1996 and believe we have found our favorite condo and rental company. Perfect spot for a summer vacation. This is my second time staying in this unit, and once again, we are fully satisfied! Great location; spent a ton of time on the balcony, and loved the easy access to the beach and pool. So close to the beach and a few minute drive from Barefoot Landing, which is a great spot for shopping, entertainment, and dining. Definitely recommend Randy’s place!

Nice unit not great.

Unit was very clean and well equipped. The third bedroom was just a big closet with a built in L shaped bed. Would okay for kids but not for adults. Parking was not good. People were not paying attention to and there were not enough handicap Parking spaces. Pools were nice and the beach was close. Furniture was in good condition and the kitchen was well equipped. The unit is on the smaller side would be crowded with many people.

Thank you for your review and sorry your experience was "not great". You are correct, the unit is too small for many guests which is why we only allow a maximum of 6 with the ideal breakdown being 4 adults and 2 children. All units in the building have the same footprint and the 3rd bedroom is perfect for two children but definitely not two adults. The units are 1000 square foot which is also in the description. We also provide 50 photos for guests to review prior to making their decision. As for parking unfortunately the number of spots we have is dictated by the city. We have to have 2 spots for each condo. There are 63 condos and 126 parking spots. The number of handicapped spots has been discussed many times by the homeowners association but cannot be increased because handicapped spots require more space than a regular spot and we do not have enough spare space to increase the number of handicap spots while still meeting the city requirement of 126 total parking spots. We actually manage rentals for 26 other condos in this same facility and have over 1100 online reviews all accessible on our website which is a cumulation of all reviews from all the sites we are listed on, including VRBO. Family vacation

Overall the stay was very good, and we are satisfied enough to recommend this property to anyone who is considering staying there. We especially enjoyed the ease with which we could come and go, and we appreciated the security of the facility. We loved the easy access to the beach, however, we wish that the beach had not been as crowded. There seemed to be a number of large facilities which caused some of the over-crowding, but then, it was also summertime in July. We are planning in the next 5 years to return to N. Myrtle Beach, and will likely consider staying once again at Waterpointe. Incidentally...we encountered another family from the KC area staying in the same building. Great vacation week

We enjoyed our vacation stay at Waterpointe 1. We found condo and outside of condo to be very clean. The outside is especially clean and lounge and bathrooms always smelled clean all day long. Pool area always clean. Condo was very clean when we arrived. Only comment we had was we really liked the condo that had a long foyer in it and a regular size twin bed room. With a baby we just needed for space and a bigger foyer would have worked better for us. We will look at that option next time. Otherwise no complaints.

I like the keyless entry, location, pools, and cleanliness of the facility.

The location is great and Everything went well. I am a big fan of keyless entries. I also appreciated having the wi-Fi passwords sent to me early. And we were able to get into the condo earlier then the 4 o’clock time.The only problem we had was we had to ask for our chairs daily as they had a different person working everyday and they didn’t label,them. I had to call the company once because the kid working would not believe us and was rather rude. One worker, named Michael was very helpful but he was only there once. Finally, on Friday, they had labeled our chairs with a tag that said crab vacations #2.

Absolutely loved staying in this unit very well maintained and very clean. This condo had everything we needed to make our vacation like home. Perfect location

This is the second year that we’ve rented a condo from Randy and we’ll definitely return. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. It’s Oceanside view was spectacular. It had a nice balcony to sit and relax in the early morning or late evening. We found it to be well equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, and coffee maker. There was also a nice assortment of pots and pans. It’s perfectly located, being in a quiet area but close to all the the local attractions. The kids loved coming in from the beach and swimming in the pool. It was the best of both worlds!
