"Keys to the Beach" is a beautifully decorated, comfortable 3/2 raised beach house with a fully loaded kitchen, 5 TV's, cable, internet in the wonderful 39 home beach community of Heritage Shores with 2 pools, tennis and basketball...all in a 3 minute walk to beach access to the pristine and pet friendly Ft. Morgan beach and a view of the bay from the back deck. You'll notice our extra attention to details in everything from quality linens, generous check in supplies, covered downstairs lounge area, beach supplies, abundance of kitchen utensils, paper towels, napkins and condiments and lots of personal contact from your host to provide you with everything you need to know or want to ask about the area. This is "island life" away from high rises and high density areas but with several close restaurants, convenience store shopping and still 20-25 minutes from the mainstream Gulf Shores area...perfect combination of relaxation and convenience. The master has a king bed and on suite bathroom. Other bedrooms have a king and two double beds, sharing the hall bath. All bedrooms have louvered blinds and drapes to keep out light for sleeping late! The dining room table seats 8 with room for another 3 more at the large kitchen island. Large 52" living room TV with a 42" in each bedroom. Roku TV downstairs in furnished bonus area. West facing back deck is perfect for viewing remarkable sunsets. Fort Morgan also is a favorite place for fishermen. At the end of the street in front is the glorious Gulf of Mexico with beach access slightly to the East, a very short walk even for kids! It's a great family resort area that makes people come back year after year! We fell in love with it there because it really does feel "special" to not be sardined into a high rise, wait for elevators but have a full and expansive view of the beach and the sky without interruption instead. Under the house is another seating area we call the "Mermaid Lounge", furnished and decorated, which is great for conversation while using the grill, playing corn hole or electronic darts for some good family time. There is also ping pong and air hockey as well as Roku TV. We have had nothing but compliments on the house and locations. Our 5 star VRBO reviews speak for themselves! We work to provide you with the best and most personal feeling atmosphere for your vacation as compared to sterile and generic rental machine condos. We use our own house and know what needs to be done to keep it top notch and be on top of maintenance! I will personally be in contact with each of my guests before your arrival and available to you during your stay, and I require personal communication between us before your check in to give a you few specific instructions about the house.

The location is perfect with easy beach access and wonderful views. It was nice and quiet sitting out back or we could sit out front and watch the kids play basketball .The outdoor shower area was great for rinsing off and the seating downstairs was a great place to dry off after a walk on the beach! The decor was beautiful and really made us feel like a welcome guest in a home vs a sterile hotel room."

Nice Relaxing Stay

This property was as listed and was a very comfortable stay for my family. Typically we are on the go every day during vacation, but we just kicked back and relaxed this time which was great. The house provided all of the needed amenities (including spices which was nice) and the proximity to the beach and the pool was great.

We chose Keys to the Beach for a celebration vacation for our 30th wedding Anniversary with our closest friends. It did not disappoint! From the decor to the stocked kitchen it felt like home. The “basement” full of beach goodies and games to play gave us plenty to do. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we will surely visit again!!

As summer comes to a close…….

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night getaway at Fort Morgan. The property was just as described, very comfortable and filled with everything needed for a perfect trip. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach. I only gave 3 stars on cleanliness, because there were some areas that could have used a more thorough cleaning (dead bugs in the window sill, pieces of dirt on the floor). It was nothing I was unable or unwilling to take care of quickly. We will be staying at this property in the future. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Really comfortable house

This place was great! It was a 5 minute walk to the MOST beautiful beach. The house includes a lot of thoughtful details (throw blankets, comfortable furniture, condiments, etc.) and was a great place for our family. We used the kitchen a lot and had everything we needed.

A Wonderful Vacation!

Great vacation

House exceeded expectations with everything we needed. Kids enjoyed extras provided so we didn't have to pack beach toys, floats and chairs which was great for adults. Pools were a great plus for kids and adults. Owner was always available if we have questions. It was our best vacation in several years and plans are being made to return soon.

We are starting our 7th year as hosts of Keys to the Beach and I'm personally involved with each of our guests prior to check in to answer questions and personally welcome you to our house. I enjoy overseeing the details that will make your stay at KTTB over and above the average beach rental house. We have more amenities that most competition offers including spices in the kitchen, good quality linens for bedrooms and baths, a "complete' kitchen with lots of utensils and cookware. Kleenex and air fresheners in the bathrooms and things that make you feel right at home, not in a rental! I want everyone to feel like their vacation budget was well spent at Keys to the Beach.

Why they chose this property

We rented condos for years all along the Florida panhandle and the Alabama coast. When it was time to purchase a home for ourselves, we decided we wanted a place with room to stretch out, not be sandwiched in. The openness of the views out on Fort Morgan appealed to us...it looks like a scene from a movie! And we love watching the sky and the weather in full view, not bits and pieces. It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing but not far from action if that's what you want. The beaches are less crowded, and it's a place to enjoy some personal space when you're on vacation, not be in the crowd. I think this will appeal to adults and families who want a beautiful beach experience in a beach community environment of pastel homes and blue sky and water. Have the feel of staying in a personal residence instead of the sterile environment and the sparse decorating and supplies of a strictly rental condo, house or a hotel. We have personally selected items in the house to accent the beach theme in art and accents.

What makes this property unique

Skip the crowds, the generic pictures on the walls, the entry level bedding and have a fully supplied kitchen including spices and upgraded linens. No waiting for elevators or looking for parking with convenient parking under the house. Trash Can Express rolls out your trash cans from under the house and returns them after trash pick up.
