Enjoy our oceanfront home, featuring both ocean and sound views. Soak up the ocean breezes from the comfort of multiple furnished sun decks and a covered deck. Walk from the house through the dunes to the beach in less than 2 minutes.

The home features an inviting great room offering an open layout, with cathedral ceilings and plenty of ocean vistas. The renovated kitchen with a breakfast island is an ideal place for easy meals. The open living, dining, and kitchen areas allow everyone in the family to spread out and unwind. Additionally enjoy gathering together around an outdoor picnic area.

Amazing stay!

Irina has a lovely spot. Amazing views from the living space on top and a short walk to a relatively calm spot on the beach during peak season! Great amenities and very clean and welcoming interior.

Amazing Beach Vacation Home

We loved the house and the short walk to the beach. The views of the ocean from the back patio were amazing. The area was very nice, a great place to have a family vacation. We will return!

Wonderful place to stay!!

Our first….but not the last trip to OBX!! Lusea was very clean and has lots of room to roam. Kitchen well stocked. Great location with stunning morning views. Easy access to the ocean. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had before our trip. Will definitely be back again!

Good family house with more secluded beaches

Great house for a family get away. Plenty of space, no insane check out process. Nice less busy area… even saw some beach deer from the deck one night. Good tvs and internet ( it’s a vacation but when you have kids that matters). Overall a very pleasant property.

First time to Salvo

We had a great time on this trip. It was our first time visiting Salvo and this house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The house itself was in a great location. We hope to come back again.

The House

The house was beautiful and comfortable, and very clean. . The view from the deck was fantastic. We saw the Milky Way and two rocket launches from Cape Canaveral while there.

We enjoyed our stay at Lu Sea.

The views from the deck are wonderful. The house was neat and clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. My only complaint was the beds were listed at queens but the are full size. Everything was great!

Comfortable house, great location, incredible views!

LuSea was a perfect getaway - with multiple patios / decks with perfect breezy beach, sunset & sound views made this place special. Walking trail over the dunes to the beach right in the backyard, and outdoor shower / cooking area for extra function. Living and sleeping spaces were very comfortable & perfect for a group. Host was super helpful and very responsive before and during our trip! Highly recommend!!

Great location great property!

House was well equipped and clean. It is much more modern than picture depicts with wonderful decks. Walk over dunes directly to beach or there is a boardwalk of sorts 5 houses down with easier access. I would highly recommend

Spacious house

Beautiful spacious house. Great for a family. The living space and kitchen is open and has a fantastic view. Great for cooking and spending time together. You can open the sliding doors from the bed rooms and hear the ocean while you sleep. There are a lot of stairs which was fine for my family but may be a concern for elderly. Loved it and would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at LuSea! It was the perfect house. We couldn’t find any fault to rate it less than a 5. It’s very clean, spacious, comes with everything you need including board games, puzzles, and books for both adults and kids. The oceanfront location is great, it was relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the sound of the waves. You can catch both sunrise and sunset from the house, very beautiful. I strongly highly recommend!

Lusea

The Lusea property was an excellent rental property for our vacation. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It was very clean and offered all that was expected from the listing. The chairs and boogie boards that came with it was a really nice amenity. It saved us the hassle of renting or buying these items for the kids. The location was great. Quiet but still close enough to all the activities and stores. We will definitely be back next year and rent the Lusea again!

What an amazing experience

This is such a beautiful home. Pictures do not do this place justice. It was so big and cozy. The responses were so quick and the place was so clean. The upper deck has a great view of the ocean. Spacious parking and rverything you need for your vacation. The beds are comfortable and the breeze coming in was amazing. I miss it already. Thank you for such an amazing home to rent.

Lusea, I'm Home!

Salvo, NC is a great place for families on the OBX, and if you are looking for a good VBRO rental that can accommodate ~6-8 people that is also ocean-front, then look no further than Lusea. The house itself is a bit dated, but it makes up for its age through location, view from the top balcony and great common area space. Our communication with the owners was nothing but pleasant and responsive. I love Lusea.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We all had a very enjoyable vacation in Salvo. The house was just as listed. The kitchen was very well equipped. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the dunes and the ocean. The path to the beach led to such a beautiful view at the top. It opened up to a really nice natural beach. The check in process was super easy. The host did a very good job of communicating. We had no need to be in touch with her while we were there, we had no issues with our visit. We really liked the area. A very nice place to relax and enjoy the family.

House was nice and very close to the ocean.

My family really enjoyed the house. Everything was just as it was listed on the site. We brought our own linens and shopped for the paper products we thought we needed. Surprisingly they were already there. Instructions were very clearly placed. If I had to say anything negative it would be the 500.00 service fee for a place with no pool. The two surrounding homes had a pool and hot tube. Other than that I would recommend LuSea to anyone.

Nice location but not great rental

The home itself and location wasn't bad, but we couldn't believe that they didn't provide things like toilet paper and trash bags. Not having linens was a surprise for us because there was nothing about it in the listing, and we didn't get any info (except a blank email a few days before telling us that we had check in info but then when we logged in, it showed there was no check in info) about the linens. So the morning of our arrival, I emailed to get some check in info and that is when we learned that sheets and towels were not provided. We frantically called around and found a place that delivered them to the home for $150. When we got in at 1am, we had to make all the beds which was a pain. We've never stayed at a place that didn't provide ANY linens. No hand towels, no dish rags. Nothing. And then they couldn't even provide a single extra roll of toilet paper. So when we ran out, we discovered that there wasn't a Single extra roll (also something I've never seen in all the places we have rented) in the house. Also, not a single extra trash bag. They had a long list of stuff they wanted us to clean (despite paying a cleaning fee and not having to wash any linens) and on that list was running the dishwasher, so you think they would have provided detergent. Nope. Nothing! So that was really annoying. We have a home that we rent out in the mountains, and we have stayed at many many rental homes and we have never seen somewhere so under-stocked. They should charge $5 more to be able to provide at least one extra roll of TP. At our rental, we provide extra tp, extra paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, shampoo conditioner, bar soap, linens, salt and pepper, etc. There was none of this here.. The house was fine (other than the carpet felt dirty and some things were pretty outdated), and we liked the quiet location and hike to the beach. Would definitely never stay at this home again or recommend to anyone though.

Thank you for the review and the opportunity to clarify our check-out procedures and what we provide our guests. We are glad you enjoyed the location. Our cleaner takes pride in making sure our guests are welcomed with a clean, orderly, and sanitized vacation home. We strive to provide an exceptionally maintained house, which includes completely renovated and updated bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, etc. We apologize if any documentation did not arrive however we were not made aware of a blank email until this review was posted. Had we been notified we would have acted on this as soon as possible and sent all information that was missing and needed. The house was completely stocked with what we list in our property listing. The state at which the house was left in after this guest checked out was in an unsatisfactory condition. As with many home rentals, we ask our guests to tidy up before they check out. For future guests, here are the requested checkout procedures: CHECK OUT PROCEDURES: Check out time is 10:00 a.m. 
 * Empty all trash cans and place all trash in outside bins. Please do not leave trash on the floor or on any furniture. * Move trash bins to the end of the driveway on Monday & Thursday evening. * Empty the fridge and wipe clean. * Wipe down counters, please do not leave food residue on kitchen surfaces. * Run & empty the dishwasher (please use detergent). * Check drawers/closets/under beds for personal items. * Please do not remove mattress/pillow protectors from beds. * Turn out the lights when you leave. For the benefit of future guests, here is our list of supplies we provide and we have stocked for all guests visiting: STARTER KIT SUPPLIES PROVIDED: * Every bathroom is stocked with a roll of toilet paper. * Hand soap provided for every bathroom and kitchen. * Roll of paper towels provided in kitchen. * All trash bins have a fresh liner. * Two reusable dish towels. * Pack of two sponges. * Pack of two dishwasher tabs. * Small bottle of laundry detergent.
 Extra supplies can be purchased at any of the local convenience stores that are within walking distance in the village, as well as the Dollar General located approximately 3 minutes driving distance away from the property. 
 We provide the following information regarding linens and towels: LINENS & TOWELS: 
 Linens & towels are not provided. You are welcome to bring your own, or rent them from a local provider and have them delivered. A quick internet search (such as OBX linen rentals) will provide you with several businesses to choose from.
